A descriptive qualitative case study approach was used, with purposive sampling selecting principals as critical informants and vice principals, teachers, students, alums, and parents as supporting informants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that marketing management strategies at MAN 1 and MAN 2 Cilegon City are implemented but must be fully optimized. Planning involves basic strategies but needs thorough identification, segmentation, positioning, and differentiation. Organizing is relatively effective, with clear task divisions formalized by principal decrees. Implementation follows a marketing mix approach (product, promotion, infrastructure, human resources, and processes), yet promotional efforts still need to be increased. Monitoring is consistently conducted by principals and supporting staff. While customer loyalty is evident, indicated by repeat purchases, recommendations, and cross-product purchases, it is limited to existing market segments and does not reach broader audiences.","PeriodicalId":324404,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science Education and Cultural Studies","volume":"38 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141652315","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research method uses qualitative research methods. The research was conducted at the public elementary school in Lebak Regency. Research data was collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Program Sekolah Penggerak is inseparable from five interventions, namely consultative and asymmetric assistance, strengthening school human resources, new paradigm learning, data-based planning, and school digitalization. Supporting factors for the Program Sekolah Penggerak at public elementary schools in Lebak regency are local government support, productive-age human resources, facilities, and infrastructure, as well as support from parents and the community. The obstacles faced were budget constraints and the impact of the implementation of the Program Sekolah Penggerak, namely the existence of policies oriented towards fulfilling student learning and budget policies oriented towards fulfilling teacher-student learning, which required them to get out of their comfort zone. By participating in training activities to strengthen school human resources, there is motivation and enthusiasm for new teachers to accept different learning models because students are served based on their interests and learning styles.","PeriodicalId":324404,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science Education and Cultural Studies","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126672376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Five English lecturers served as the subjects of this study, which used qualitative descriptive research. Interviews and observations served as the research's primary data collection methods. The Miles and Huberman’s hypothesis has been used to analyse the data in three steps. The study's findings revealed that (a) lecturers face difficulties in the virtual learning process because of students' distance from internet resources, (b) it is challenging to get students and lecturers to explain things clearly, (c) lecturers lack motivation to teach because of students' distance and network issues, and (d) students have limited internet knowledge and it is challenging to start a meeting using a different application. This study shows that there are numerous difficulties when lecturers use virtual learning. Because of their distance from internet sources, the majority of lecturers had problems joining the classroom if the pupils did not participate in virtual classes. The lecturer faces additional obstacles due to their inability to motivate their students to learn. Additionally, the restriction on network access forced the students to respond to the lecturers' explanations and assignments in order to assess their understanding.","PeriodicalId":324404,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science Education and Cultural Studies","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125207382","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
