The cloud offers a near perfect solution for the organization. It benefits the organization with minimum investment and overhead administration costs. Thus, many of the organizations are ardently trying to avail the benefits of cloud services. However, there are concerns which inhibit them from going ahead and adopting the cloud for conducting their business operations. The barrier is in terms of apprehension for lack of trust due to several inexplicable reasons. However, cloud service providers are undertaking various steps to address the issue but this is the domain in which the coordination of several stakeholders is warranted. For example, the government needs to regulate the working of the cloud service providers, research workers to explore options that can be implemented; hence, suitable actions are required which can be taken to develop the issues of trust and security of the business data in the cloud. This paper is an attempt to address the major issues that are affecting the security and ultimately causing distrust at IAAS. Through this paper, we have tried to propose some solutions or techniques, which if adopted and implemented, will go a long way in sustaining trust.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122800807","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also if some nodes have mobility (either anchor or target), accurate localization process becomes quite challenging. This paper proposes a method based on swarm intelligence for locating nodes in moving anchors WSN environment, which is computationally efficient. The simulation based localization is done for fourteen counts at which the anchor nodes have different positions due to mobility. The advantage of the algorithm used in this paper is that there is only one anchor is required for the localization of a target node (no need for three anchors). The single anchor used for the localization of a target node will make its own two virtual anchor nodes for localization. The nodes which are efficiently localized with its localization error and percentage localization error are observed in this paper. All simulations using different scenarios have been done on MATLAB software.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127065318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The encryption scheme incorporates Radial Hilbert Mask (RHM), Random Phase Mask (RPM) and fractional order as the keys. Using the 4-f system of DRPE twice in both the WHT and FRT domain, each image is encoded independently with the presented scheme. Matlab simulation tests demonstrate the increase in security level of the classical DRPE technique by the designed optical cryptosystem, and it has a superior insusceptibility to noise also. The efficiency and sensitivity of the presented scheme is tested by calculating MSE and PSNR. The histogram shows that the energy is conserved by using Walsh Hadamard transform and shows that the encrypted image is much easy to transfer due to the compression property of WHT.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"04 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127222415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Along with the cyber world, the number of cyber criminals is also expanding rapidly. To fight against the cyber criminals and safeguard the interest of innocent civilians, we take the help of Big Data Analytics. Big data is large in both quantity and quality and can be efficiently used to analyze certain patterns and behavior anomaly which can help us prevent or be prepared for the thread or any upcoming attack. This proactive and analytical approach will help us greatly reduce the rate of Cyber Crimes and also get the knowledge out of that data which was not previously observable. This paper discusses some of the key characteristics of Big data, architecture, categories of cybercrimes and big data analytic techniques that can be used.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116836134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Legal, economic and technical measures can be used to tackle spam sms's nowadays. A key role is being played by Bayesian filters in stopping this problem. In this paper, we analyzed and studied the relative strengths of various machine learning algorithms in order to detect spam messages which are sent on mobile devices. We have acquired the data from on open public dataset and prepared two datasets for our testing and validation purposes. Accuracy in detecting spam messages was the first priority in ranking these algorithms. Our results clearly demonstrate that different machine learning algorithms under different features tend to perform differently in classifying spam messages.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124393568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main objective is to enhance the sensor node battery power without obstructing network connectivity. The projected scheme is a fused procedure, consequential resultant of Reference Broadcast Synchronization method (RBS) and Time-sync Protocol for Sensor Networks (TSPN) to sporadically coordinate the sensor clocks by reducing the no. of transmission required earlier. Ad-hoc networks with an exhausted sensor can drop information received from various sensors and hence reduce the network size monitored by the system. Therefore, it is required for the time synchronization schemes to know the number of active sensors at any point of time. Hence, the proposed work focuses on the issues such as connectivity, no. of packets exchange during synchronization process and sensor's energy consumption. The proposed work is simulated on MATLAB and it was observed that it provides better results over TPSN and RBS. Proposed hybrid scheme provides large area of coverage along with the low power consumption by reducing the no. of synchronization packet exchange.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121072056","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
