By forecasting weather precisely we can prevent and overcome many hazards that could lead to great loss to a nation. So, in order to do this, Hidden Markov Model was chosen. A Hidden Markov Model (HMM) is a statistical Markov model in which the framework being modeled is thought to be a Markov chain with in hidden (secret) states. In this paper HMM is used to predict weather using Markov Chain property. The training of the model and probability of occurrence of an event is calculated by observing weather data for last 21 years. The data is firstly categorized based on standard values set apart. The result obtained shows that our model is reliable and works very well in predicting weather for next 5 days based on today's weather pattern.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130368926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With increasing number of user's, it becomes difficult to handle the web traffic on these web sites. If only one server will handle the whole traffic, it would be overloaded and will result in slow response time and bottleneck. Thus, this huge traffic has to be shared among multiple servers. Load balancing means to transfer the load of one web server to another so that all web servers will be balanced. The major contribution of this research is to suggest a framework for load balancing in web server cluster system based on various user requirements and to present its execution on one of the web services based on load factor. This paper also presents an experimental analysis of running this framework in web environment using a GUI based tool to prove the proposed research and to present the evaluation of experiments based on the scenario “with load factor” and “without load factor”.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129976276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since the advancements in this field is a continuous process, some need gaps are also created during this, which creates a concern in terms of security of this information. In addition to cryptography, we can use steganography technique to address these issues effectively. In nutshell, we can describe steganography as security mechanisms which are used for the concealed exchange of transmittable data. It can be defined as the study of concealed information elucidation that explains how we can securely hide the existing communicable information. If we can successfully implement and achieve the principles and techniques of steganography, the communicated messages evade the attention of cyber threats like eavesdropper and attackers. By using steganography, we can hide the information into different embedding mediums which are also known as carriers. It can be anyone of these like images, audio files, video files, and text files. In the paper, we are focusing on spatial domain image based steganography. The technique is scrutinized and argued in the terms of its payload capacity i.e., the ability to hide information, how much information can be hidden, and its robustness.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132359574","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The mission in investigating an IoT crime is delivered by the dynamic nature of IOT solutions. Many predominant generation areas, which incorporates cloud computing, cellular gadgets, computer systems, sensors and RFID (Radio Frequency identification) technology are the combination of IOT. Forensic science is a mix of two Latin phrases: forensics and science. Forensic, relating to examination accomplished in public as trials in the ancient international were commonly held in public, it also consists of a robust judicial connotation. The second one termed as science, which is nowadays closely tied to the medical technique, also a systematic manner of obtaining knowledge. Collectively, forensic technology may be seen as the usage of the medical approaches and resources in crime solving. No matter its historical etymology, forensic science is something concrete but old fashioned. Branches of forensic science are rooted in nearly each department of technological knowledge and many different elements of current society. Due to its capability to discover nowadays it is identified as a critical part of the judicial world. At the same time as the key evidence in crook cases may additionally have come from witnesses or other subjective manner simply meaning forensic evidence, based as it is at the scientific method, is seen as more decisive than even eyewitness’ testimony. Especially in a judicial system like ours the accused is considered harmless till tested guilty, evidence gathered by forensic scientists is regularly utilized by both the protection and the prosecution in many of the judicial cases. The internet of things (IOT) accompanies both the central security and protection issues. Forensics for digital world although has been considered in every scholarly community and industry, portability crime scene investigation is phenomenally new and unexplored. Crime scene investigation manages rigging and methods that work towards forensically stable recuperation of data and confirmation from our cell phones or mobile devices.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"428 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132386530","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective is to calculate fault site in kilometer(s) from base station. It uses the concept of Ohm's law. Voltage drop varies proportional to the location of fault since the current varies during short-circuit. Direct current voltage is fed at one end & the fault is detected using an Analog to Digital Converter & 8051 microcontroller Integrated Circuit which calculates the fault site which is further displayed on Liquid Crystal Display. The benefit of this fault detection scheme is that without digging the ground to check the fault in underground cables, location of faults could be detected & hence necessary action could be taken in shortest time with minimum cost spent.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133607934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A simple autoregressive (AR) model may be used to describe the shape of the signal spectrum. Then, the main concern is the manner in which the residual signal of the AR model is parameterized. It has been shown only recently that the sEMG signals exhibit heteroscedasticity resulting in the AR residual signal being heteroscedastic. In this paper, the aim is to explore the effect of using different order AR models with different residual signal models on sEMG-based classification of hand activities. It is demonstrated that the appropriateness of the AR model order should be determined by jointly testing the AR and residual model parameters for classification in terms of the accuracy that they provide. A stand-alone statistical test for determining the AR model order may not correspond with the accuracy that the model would provide when used in conjunction with the features extracted from the residual signals. Moreover, feature selection is essential while testing large number of features to determine the appropriateness of the signal models used.","PeriodicalId":322178,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies for Smart Nation (IC3TSN)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133671359","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
