The independent variable was 5M Plus health education with leaflet media, while the dependent variable was knowledge of DHF prevention. The instrument used was a knowledge questionnaire on the prevention of DHF events. Data analysis was conducted using the marginal homogeneity test, which revealed improved DHF preventive knowledge after receiving 5 M plus health education, shifting from the less category (51.4%) to the excellent category (52.9%). The study found a significant effect of 5M plus health education with leaflets on the preventive knowledge of DHF events in class VII students of SMPN 01 Pakisaji, Pakis District, Malang Regency, with a p-value of 0.000. Teens are more likely to be infected with HIV/AIDS and other STDs due to their lack of awareness of potential risks associated with sexual activity. The purpose of this study is to determine how health education affects teenagers' perspectives on stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS. This study was carried out at SMAS Riyadlul Jannah using a quasi-experimental one-group pre-post test design with quantitative research. In total, 74 persons were selected utilizing proportionate stratified random sampling and probability sampling procedures, with the study's population consisting of 286 students at SMAS Riyadlul Jannah. The Paired T Test is used to examine the primary data for the study, which was gathered through a questionnaire. WHO 2020 revealed that Indonesia is the second country in Asia with the highest prevalence of 31.8% of stunting problems in toddlers. Several factors cause toddlers to experience stunting, including indirect factors, namely socioeconomic status. The socioeconomic status of the residents of Ngalang on the incidence of stunting toddlers aged 12-60 months was found to be 40 toddlers short and 6 toddlers very short. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between socioeconomic status and the incidence of stunting in Ngalang Gunungkidul. This type of quantitative research uses a cross-sectional design. Population 85 parents of toddlers 12-60 months with stunting conditions. The sample was obtained using the Solvin method: 46 parents of stunted toddlers who met the inclusion criteria. After the Spearmen rho test was obtained, many members in the family p=0.019; of many children of the family, p=0.010, the father's educational status is p=0.058, the mother's educational status is p=0.025, and the monthly income in the family p=0.023. There is Stunting is a prevalent nutritional issue among toddlers globally. The results showed a significant relationship between family size, number of children, mother's educational status, family income, and stunting in toddlers. However, no significant relationship was found between the father's educational status and stunting, suggesting the need for further research on the father's role. Preventative measures include participating in premarital classes and prioritizing a child's growth and development through proper nutrition, parenting, healthcare, and environmental sanitation.","PeriodicalId":321431,"journal":{"name":"Siklus : Journal Research Midwifery Politeknik Tegal","volume":"33 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140489501","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Central Java province, the rate was 20.8%, while in Brebes Regency, it reached 29.1% (the highest in Central Java). Stunting poses a significant nutritional challenge affecting the growth and development of young children. This issue is linked to factors such as malnutrition in pregnant women, adolescents, and nursing mothers, as well as the presence of infectious diseases in mothers. The well-being of young women is crucial, as they will become the next generation of parents, shaping the nation's future. By 2030, an estimated 68% of Indonesia's economic support will come from individuals of productive age, including current adolescents who will soon become parents. This cross-sectional observational study aimed to assess the effectiveness of assisting adolescents and pregnant women with anemia as an early stunting screening initiative. The data collection involved checking hemoglobin levels in adolescents and pregnant women, assisting those with anemia for 30 days, and then re-evaluating their hemoglobin levels. Univariate frequency distribution analysis indicated increased hemoglobin levels among adolescents and anemic pregnant women. Chi-square analysis resulted in a p-value of 0.04, suggesting that assisting adolescents and pregnant women as an early stunting screening effort effectively addresses anemia.","PeriodicalId":321431,"journal":{"name":"Siklus : Journal Research Midwifery Politeknik Tegal","volume":"33 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140487891","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research aims to determine the descriptive analysis of reproductive quality in working women in the STIKes Respati environment. The type of research is quantitative with descriptive methods, where the population is mothers who work at STIKes Respati. Holistic care in midwifery offers an alternative or complementary approach to conventional medical treatment. It aimed to enhance the health of postpartum mothers through education and various health services, recognizing that health issues are not solely physical and can be addressed through non-medical interventions. This study investigated the impact of Hypnolactation and self-talk on breast milk production in postpartum mothers. The research utilized a quasi-experimental design, specifically, a pretest-posttest with a control group. The holistic care model implemented communication science techniques to promote relaxation, deep breathing, positive suggestions, and confidence building in postpartum mothers. The study was conducted in the Meteseh Boja Kendal village area from June to August 2023. The analysis employed paired testing, with a sample of 35 out of 42 postpartum mothers selected through purposive sampling. The results revealed that 100% of mothers who received Hypnolactation achieved sufficient breast milk levels, whereas 66.7% of those who practiced self-talk achieved the same, with 33.3% having inadequate levels. Hypnolactation demonstrated greater efficacy in enhancing breast milk production in the Meteseh Boja Kendal area. Applying hypnolactation and self-talk increased the secretion of endorphins, prolactin, and oxytocin, potentially influencing the mother's breastfeeding ability and the body's capacity to produce breast milk. Future research should consider using action research methods, expanding sample coverage over an extended period, and examining additional factors such as postpartum mothers' dietary intake.","PeriodicalId":321431,"journal":{"name":"Siklus : Journal Research Midwifery Politeknik Tegal","volume":"62 42","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140486718","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
