In Datamining, different Classification Techniques are available to predict outcome for a given dataset. There are many classification techniques for predicting and estimating accuracy, one such famous technique is Naïve Bayes Classifier. Naïve Bayes is very popular as it is easy to build, not so complex and when combined with smoothing techniques give better accuracy. In this paper Naîve Bayes Classifier for estimating Seismic Hazard activity is proposed. Hazard indicates a possible threat to life, health, property and environment. Mitigation of haz ard when crossing stipulated level is very important, otherwise it may lead to an emergency. One of the most dangerous hazards in mining activities is Mining Hazard. Mineral, Diamonds/Gold and Coal exploration involves mining in a big way where hazard occurrence is quite common and addressing these mining hazards is a challenging task. An important threat of Mining Hazard is Seismic Hazard which is normal in underground mines. Thus Predicting Seismic Hazard is one of the most important aspect in countering Mining Hazards. In this paper the authors are proposing a new approach to improve accuracy of predicting seismic hazard by using Naive Bayes classifier with negation handling. This approach, outperforms the traditional Naïve Bayes Classifier in terms of accuracy.","PeriodicalId":320699,"journal":{"name":"2016 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Control (ISCO)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132625922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As well clustering the data in different time windows dynamically, provide the evolution behavior which helps in analyzing the features of the network. For example in the information network such as DBLP which contains multiple types of objects such as author, paper, conference and terms, clustering gives us overall view of evolutionary structure such as continue, merge, split, appearance and disappearance of the multiple objects in heterogeneous networks. In this paper we use Probabilistic generative model along with conditional probability, to generate efficient clusters. The number of clusters is not predefined as well it is not fixed and a prior parameter is added to define the number of clusters dynamically.","PeriodicalId":320699,"journal":{"name":"2016 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Control (ISCO)","volume":"138 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132837602","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These wireless medical sensor networks are more endangered to intruding, modification, eavesdropping, impersonation and playback attacks than the wired networks. A lot of solutions have been developed to secure wireless medical sensor networks. The already available solutions can safeguard the patient data during communication, but unable to terminate the inside attack where the proprietor of the patient database discloses the delicate patient information. In this project, an empirical approach has been presented to safeguard the inside attack by utilizing multiple number of data servers to store patient data for further utility. The main contribution of this work is to distribute the patient information securely in multiple data servers and by employing the homomorphic cryptosystems (modified paillier/elgamal) to accomplish patients' data privacy. This is a secure method against both outside and inside attacks as long as all the data servers are not compromised.","PeriodicalId":320699,"journal":{"name":"2016 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Control (ISCO)","volume":"560 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133725246","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Multiple robotic arms are used for handle the materials to lift in flexible directions. Vertical rotation of 360° single arm is considered in this research for position servo drive with brushless DC motor. The load torque of an arm varies depending upon angular displacement due to gravity, so it required four quadrant operation of drive with robust feedback controller. This paper deals with the design and performance comparison of conventional PID feedback controller with fuzzy based PID controller and suggests the most suitable controller. WSN composed of large number of small sensors which senses the physical situations occurred in the environment. For WSNs, energy efficiency is the main challenge and to create efficient networks, sophisticated routing algorithms are designed. Clustering algorithm is one of technique used in WSN to minimize the energy consumption but the major challenge in clustering algorithm is the selection of cluster head. In this paper, we will discuss about energy efficient routing protocol, Improved O-LEACH; which employs clustering algorithm. According to our proposed algorithm, the cluster is chosen on the bases of residual energy and the distance from the base station. On the basis of energy consumption and network lifetime we then compare the performance of our proposed algorithm with O-LEACH.","PeriodicalId":320699,"journal":{"name":"2016 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Control (ISCO)","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131257063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Textual data, ranging from simple to complex images along with language variations - mono, bi, tri or multilingual scripts, is identified and extracted. This paper is designed to focus the challenges and complex issues of text recognition in bilingual machine printed imaged documents. Major crucial factors are discovered and mentioned which become the bottlenecks in correct and accurate recognition. With this, a hierarchical structure depicting three Classification Schemes (CS) A, B and C of bilingual printed imaged document is shown, where A, B and C are related to the content form, image mining and language or script determination. Some loopholes of OCR working are also discussed. To analyze the existing algorithms and methods, a survey is presented to focus on their critical issues, proposed solutions along with constraints and errors found during text processing. It leads to find out the shortcomings and limitations of different methods. Various specifications and factors found from the techniques are also shown as their characteristics and are compared relatively to distinguish them. It is observed that most of the existing methods are based on the classification schemes CS A-A1 and C-C1 and C2 and are designed for the script identification with 300 dpi gray scale image using SVM classifier.","PeriodicalId":320699,"journal":{"name":"2016 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Control (ISCO)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128216065","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These include elders, post-surgery patients, heart patients, and even healthy people who have high health conscious. The extent of medical support required by such people varies from person to person. Monitoring of multiple parameters include heart rate, temperature, pressure, blood oxygen level, sugar level etc. The system monitoring multiple parameter should also keep in pace with them. As the number of parameters to be monitored keeps increasing, there should be enough storage space for the large amount of data to be stored which is going to get accumulated with time. Microcontroller based systems for monitoring multiple parameters are not enough to cater the speed, bandwidth requirements. In this paper we discuss about the development of a VLSI based controller which uses AMBA-APB (Advanced Microcontroller Bus Architecture - Advanced Peripheral Bus) interface bus to store the health parameters in the memory for record keeping.","PeriodicalId":320699,"journal":{"name":"2016 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Control (ISCO)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122369973","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
