This study involved 400 students from Universitas Brawijaya. The sampling technique used accidental sampling.The measuring instrument used in this study is The Multidimensional Locus of Control IPC Scale (1981) to measure students' locus of control and the measuring instrument for arousal procrastination is adapted from General Procrastination Scale (GPS) Lay (1986). Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. Research result shows locus of control simultanneously contribute to arousal procrastination with signinificance of 0,001 (p < 0,05). Where the locus of control takes effect as much as 3,6 % toward arousal procrastination, the other 96,4 % is explained by other factors. Irronically, those industry also has the highest turnover rates (13.2%). One of the causes is connected to organizational climate. This study aims to examine the effect of organizational climate on turnover intention by considering job satisfaction as the mediating role in IT (Information Technology) company in Jakarta. Organizational climate is measured by Clior Scale (Zuarez, et.al, 2013) short version with 15 items. Job satisfaction is measured by multidimensional ESI (Employee Satisfaction Index) (Tasios & Giannouli, 2017) with 24 items and turnover intention contains 3 items (Atan, 2016). A quantitative survey was conducted on a non-probability (purposive) sample of 90 employees in IT company in Jakarta. This study uses correlation analysis, multilevel regression and bootstrap to test the direct effect and mediating effect (indirect effect). Correlation test results show that there is a negative correlation between organizational climate and turnover intention, significant correlations also exist between organizational climate and job satisfaction, as well as a negative correlation of job satisfaction and turnover intention. Simple regression analysis indicates that organizational climate is a predictor of job satisfaction, organizational climate and job satisfaction, each of which is a significant predictor of turnover intention. Bootsrapping results show that job satisfaction mediates partially the influence of organizational climate on turnover intention.","PeriodicalId":31993,"journal":{"name":"Psikodimensia Kajian Ilmiah Psikologi","volume":"329 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80463002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this quantitative research is to examine the effect of daily activities and hardiness simultaneously toward successful aging of elderly people in low economic status who are still working. The research participants were 120 elderly people who lived in Central Java (Salatiga, Semarang, Surakarta, Magelang, Pekalongan, and Tegal) with the characteristic aged of 60 and over, communicative, and they were willing to be participants. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data was obtained using Daily Activity Scale, Hardiness Scale and Successful Aging Scale. This data was analyzed using statistical techniques of multiple linear regression, with the results of F = 45,329 and a significant value of 0.00 (p<0.05) which means that there is an effect of simultaneous daily activities and hardiness on successful aging. The higher the daily activities and hardiness, the higher the success of aging and vice versa. The effective contribution of the two variables to successful aging was 43,7 percent and 56,3 percent was influenced by other variables.","PeriodicalId":31993,"journal":{"name":"Psikodimensia Kajian Ilmiah Psikologi","volume":"168 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75536931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Bandura has elaborated the social learning process with cognitive and behavioral factors that influence a person in the social learning process. The main identity of social cognitive theory was the introduction of the concept of human agency and the concept of triadic reciprocal determinism. Human agency has the meaning that human beings have the capacity to direct themselves through control over the thinking process, motivation and self-action. In the triadic model reciprocal determinism was discussed about the causes of reciprocal consequences of behavior, cognition and other personal factors, and environmental influences, in interacting interactions with one another. In addition to the above concept, Bandura also put forward on self efficacy. Self-efficacy perception occupies an important role in the causal structure of cognitive social theory because efficacy beliefs affect human ability to adapt to change, individually or collectively.","PeriodicalId":31993,"journal":{"name":"Psikodimensia Kajian Ilmiah Psikologi","volume":"65 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83142786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By surveying 322 employees working in various types of organizations (government agencies, state-owned and private) in several major cities in Indonesia using mediation analysis to evaluate the hypothesis,this study reveals that psychological capital partially mediates the relationship between job resources and work engagement. The limitations faced during this study regard the method and research design used; hence, future studies may anticipate these issues. The findings further strengthen the significance of psychological capital on stimulating the level of millennials’ work engagement.
