Christian education will have no true meaning without the work of Christ. This principle is important for answering various educational challenges that are incompatible with biblical truth. The role of Christian education is very important in the effort to implement God's truth in a world of creation that longs for freedom from slavery of sin. That's why Christian education must be holistic, rooted, grow, and bear fruit in Christ. This article aims to show that biblical truth must be the foundation of a holistic Christian education. This article uses literature research by examining the biblical concept of Christ's atonement and its implementation in the practice of Christian education. This research was carried out from 2018 until 2019, and concluded that Christ's atonement has very strong implications in the practice of biblical Christian education in realizing God's love for humans and restoring God's creation to His original purpose.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Tantangan pendidikan Kristen dewasa ini adalah bagaimana mengimplementasikan prinsip Alkitab dalam konteks pendidikan dengan benar untuk membedakan pendidikan Kristen dengan konsep pendidikan lainnya. Pendidikan Kristen tidak akan memiliki makna tanpa karya Kristus. Prinsip ini penting untuk menjawab berbagai tantangan pendidikan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebenaran Alkitab. Peran pendidikan Kristen sangat penting dalam upaya mengimplementasikan kehendak Allah dalam dunia ciptaan yang merindukan kemerdekaan dari perbudakan dosa. Itu sebabnya pendidikan Kristen harus holistis, berakar, bertumbuh, dan berbuah di dalam Kristus. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bahwa kebenaran Alkitab harus menjadi landasan pendidikan Kristen yang holistis. Artikel ini menggunakan riset literatur dengan meneliti konsep Alkitab tentang penebusan Kristus dan implementasinya dalam praktek pendidikan Kristen. A way to answer this need is to cultivate a knowledge sharing behavior in the school environment. There are many factors that can support the establishment of this knowledge sharing behavior, including transformational leadership and self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership and self-efficacy on the knowledge sharing behavior of teachers. The research subjects were 112 teachers who teach in two locations of XYZ Private High School in West Jakarta which have the potential to develop knowledge sharing behavior. The design used in this study was correlational, using surveys to collect the data and then analyze using the PLS-SEM method. The results of this study showed that transformational leadership and self-efficacy affected knowledge sharing behavior positively.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Perubahan konteks zaman dan karakteristik generasi zaman sekarang menuntut peran guru yang semakin kreatif dan inovatif. Salah satu upaya untuk menjawab hal ini adalah dengan membudayakan perilaku knowledge sharing behavior di lingkungan sekolah. Ada banyak faktor yang dapat mendukung terbangunnya perilaku knowledge sharing behavior ini, di antaranya transformational leadership dan self-efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh transformational leadership dan self-efficacy terhadap knowledge sharing behavior guru. Subjek penelitian adalah 112 guru yang mengajar di dua lokasi Sekolah Menengah Atas Swasta XYZ di Jakarta Barat yang memiliki potensi untuk membangun perilaku knowledge sharing behavior. Desain penelitian bersifat korelational, data diambil berdasarkan survey yang dianalisi dengan metode PLS-SEM. This study attempts to address this gap by analyzing an EFL textbook and then, grafting on several theoretical frameworks, discussing its contribution to the formation of learners’ identity. This writing suggests a healthier attitude towards science and technology for people of faith, where science, technology, and faith are approached without the crippling sacred/secular dichotomy. The concept of cultural mandate (Kuyper) provides a model for cultivating intellectuality, passion and humility as a divine mandate in faithful stewardship towards nature. A well-rounded scientist or engineer must be also aware of the ethical challenges in his or her field.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Ada yang mengklaim bahwa sains dan teknologi berkontradiksi dengan kehidupan iman, atau bahwa yang satu lebih penting atau lebih tinggi dari yang lain. Dualisme/dikotomi demikian dapat muncul dari tekanan paham ateisme atau gesekan dari berbagai keyakinan tempat ilmuwan beraktivitas. The First Field Experience Program 1 (PPL 1) is the student's initial experience in school, namely the introduction and adaptation of prospective teachers with classes and the role of the teacher in the classroom. The purpose of this study was to explore the benefits of student teachers after the First Field Experince Program to students’ behaviour management through observation and reflection techniques. This study used qualitative descriptive methods, where data is collected through documentation (portfolios), open questionnaires and student reflections. There were 30 UPH mathematics education students as participants who spread across several Christian schools around the greater Jakarta area. The results of this study show that PPL 1 activities bring great benefits in forming the concept of correct behavior management where student teachers can view students as individuals who need to be guided in the right direction with love and realizing God loves them so much, students teacher know and recognize forms negative behavior of students in the classroom, and students teacher learn how to handle student behavior wisely. Student teachers also have clear commitments when they become teachers later.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) adalah kegiatan pembelajaran holistis yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan kompetensi seorang calon guru Kristen sesuai dengan profil lulusan pendidikan matematika, UPH.  Program Pengalaman Lapangan 1 (PPL 1) merupakan tahap awal pengalaman mahasiswa di sekolah, yaitu tahap pengenalan dan penyesuaian Mahasiswa guru dengan ruang kelas dan peranan guru dalam kelas. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat seberapa besar manfaat yang didapatkan mahasiswa guru setelah kegiatan PPL 1 mengenai konsep manajemen perilaku siswa dalam kelas melalui teknik observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dimana data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi (portfolio), angket terbuka dan refleksi mahasiswa. Partisipan terdiri dari 30 mahasiswa pendidikan matematika-UPH yang tersebar di beberapa sekolah Kristen di sekitar Jabodetabek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan PPL 1 ini membawa manfaat yang besar dalam pembentukan konsep manajemen perilaku yang benar dimana mahasiswa dapat memandang siswa sebagai pribadi perlu dituntun ke arah yang benar dengan penuh kasih serta Tuhan sangat mengasihi mereka, mahasiswa mengetahui dan mengenal bentuk-bentuk perilaku negatif siswa di dalam kelas, serta mahasiswa belajar cara menangani perilaku siswa dengan bijaksana. This literature study aims at investigating what factors need to be present for developing someone’s potential. From the literature study, it was found that there are six factors that need to be present, including assistance, mediation, cooperation, imitation, target and crises. With the presence of assistance from the more capable other and keeping attention to the six important factors, a learner will be able to do what he/she can almost do alone.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Vygotsky adalah penemu konsep Zona Perkembangan Proksimal yang menyatakan bahwa seseorang yang belajar akan mampu melakukan apa yang hampir dapat dilakukannya secara mandiri dengan tersedianya bantuan. Studi kepustakaan ini bertujuan untuk meneliti unsur apa saja yang penting untuk membantu perkembangan potensi seorang pelajar. Dari studi kepustakaan ditemukan bahwa ada enam unsur yang penting yakni bantuan, mediasi, kerjasama, kemampuan untuk meniru, sasaran dan masa sulit atau keluar dari zona nyaman. However, regardless of there being a CG program, there are still many cases of CT students breaking rules. These range from general cases to more severe ones that result in warning letters. The discrepancy found in the range of cases is the topic of this study, which focuses on the perspective of the CG leadership. The qualitative method of case study was utilized so that the data may be accurate and in-depth for analysis, in order for there to be further discussion. The three main findings that answered the problem formulated in this study were the description of strategies and CT efforts in equipping CG Leader (CGL), an explanation of the reasons for the emergence of cases among students, and the formulation of an ideal profile for a CGL.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Sebuah program studi di suatu perguruan tinggi swasta, sebut saja CT, suatu lembaga pendidikan holistis yang transformasional menerapkan suatu program bimbingan akademik dan non-akademik berbentuk kelompok kecil bernama CARE Group (CG). Namun, terlepas dari adanya instrumen CG, kasus pelanggaran peraturan di kalangan mahasiswa CT kerap kali muncul, mulai dari kasus umum sampai kasus berat yang memiliki konsekuensi Surat Peringatan (SP). Kesenjangan tersebut menjadi topik pembahasan dalam studi ini, berfokus pada segi pandangan kepemimpinan CG. Metode penelitian kualitatif studi kasus digunakan agar mendapatkan data yang akurat dan mendalam untuk dianalisis dan dibahas lebih lanjut. The research method used was qualitative. The process of collecting data was interviews and questionnaires. The research findings indicated that the material model of English academic writing was effective and matched teachers' perceptions that it fulfilled the learning needs. This could be seen in the percentage of teachers’ questionnaires. They thought that the teaching material was appropriate for the students’ needs context and the global challenges of their program of study.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi persepsi dosen terhadap model materi ajar menulis akademik bahasa Inggris berbasis brain-friendly strategies. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model materi ajar menulis akademik bahasa Inggris berbasis brain-friendly strategies efektif. Efektifitas tersebut terlihat pada presentase yang cukup baik dari dosen. Menurut para dosen materi ajar yang telah dirancang sesuai dengan konteks pembelajaran menulis akademik bahasa Inggris dikelas dan tantangan global saat ini. Schools are organizations that require good knowledge management. The knowledge that schools have  is the work of their members, the teachers. The knowledge possessed by teachers varies. For this reason, schools must create a system so that knowledge can be shared and learned by all the teachers in the school. One way that can be done is by implementing a professional development program. Through this program, there will be a process of knowledge transfer according to the SECI model. This program is effective in increasing the knowledge of teachers and thus their intellectual capital. If the intellectual capital of the teachers increases, their competence in teaching will also develop and they can create a better generation for the nation.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Sekolah adalah kunci penting suatu bangsa, karena sekolah berperan dalam mempersiapkan generasi penerus bangsa. Sekolah merupakan sebuah organisasi yang memerlukan pengelolaan pengetahuan yang baik. Pengetahuan yang dimiliki sekolah adalah hasil kreasi para anggotanya, yaitu para guru. Pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh para guru, tidaklah sama antara satu dan yang lainnya. Untuk itu, sekolah harus menciptakan suatu sistem agar pengetahun tersebut dapat dibagikan dan dipelajari oleh semua guru di dalamnya. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengadakan program pengembangan professional. Melalui program ini, maka akan terjadi proses perpindahan pengetahuan menurut model SECI. Program ini efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para guru yang merupakan modal intelektual mereka. Jika modal intelektual para guru bertambah, maka kompetensi mereka juga akan berkembang terutama dalam pengajaran. The researcher's aim was to integrate democratic-based rewards and consequences into the discipline process. Classroom Action Research was used with 4 students as the subjects. The study implemented in three cycles from October 16, 2017, to November 1, 2017. The instruments that were used in continuing to the next cycle were students' activities and observation; other instruments were observation of the method's implementation, mentor's interview, and students' questionnaires. The result of the research showed improved changes to student discipline from cycle one to cycle three.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Masalah disiplin di dalam kelas adalah suatu kebiasaan yang sudah dianggap umum terjadi di dalam kelas. Pada saat mengajar peneliti menemukan masalah kurangnya disiplin pada beberapa siswa di kelas 3 sekolah dasar Kupang yang menjadikan kelas tidak nyaman dan tidak kondusif untuk dilaksanakan pembelajaran. Peneliti bertujuan untuk memadukan antara demokrasi, imbalan dan konsekuensi dalam proses pendisiplinan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tindakan kelas dengan 4 orang siswa sebagai subyek. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sampai tiga siklus dari tanggal 16 Oktober 2017 sampai dengan 1 November 2017. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk melanjutkan siklus adalah lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan instrumen lainnya adalah lembar observasi penerapan metode, wawancara mentor dan angket siswa.
