The purpose of this study is to describe the problem-based learning model in developing students' responsibility. The approach used in this research is qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique used was a literature study. This article states that the principle of true faith according to the Heidelberg Catechism is one of the important and historic documents for Christianity and its role in the field of education. The writing of this article is also to answer the various problems of understanding faith and its correlation with the field of Christian education. The discussion of this article uses literature research methods including the Bible, and various documents such as books and theological journals that discuss true faith according to the Heidelberg Catechism. The results of the discussion in this article show that true faith in God must have a very significant role in the field of holistic Christian education. Artikel ini menyatakan bahwa prinsip iman sejati (true faith) menurut katekismus Heidelberg sebagai salah satu dokumen penting dan bersejarah bagi kekristenan dan bagaimana perannya dalam bidang pendidikan. Penulisan artikelini juga sebagai jawaban atas berbagai persoalan pemahaman iman dan korelasinya dengan bidang Pendidikan Kristen. Pembahasan artikel ini menggunakan metode riset literatur antara lain Alkitab, dan berbagai dokumen seperti buku, jurnal teologis yang membahas iman sejati menurut Katekismus Heidelberg. Hasil pembahasan artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa iman sejati kepada Allah harus memiliki peran yang sangat signifikan dalam bidang pendidikan Kristen yang holistis. As they are the future generation of leaders, teachers and parents must take an approach based on the characteristics of the Alpha generation in parenting and teaching to develop leadership character. This research aims to examine the characteristics of the Alpha generation, character education for the Alpha generation, and parenting styles that are effective in preparing to be the digital leaders. The research method is a literature study. Terdapat dampak negatif dari penggunaan teknologi yang tidak disertai dengan pendidikan karakter. Sebagai generasi pemimpin di masa depan, guru dan orang tua harus mempunyai pendekatan berdasarkan karakteritik generasi alpha dalam pola asuh dan pengajaran untuk mengembangkan karakter kepemimpinan. Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji karakteristik generasi Alpha, bagaimana pendidikan karakter untuk generasi Alpha dan pola asuh orang tua yang efektif dalam mempersiapkan kepemimpinan digital generasi Alpha. Metode penelitian adalah metode kepustakaan, melalui penelurusan literatur terpercaya. It refers to the assessment of student achievement that is not the same assessment standard. As a series of continuous learning, this requires assessment and evaluation from the teacher. However, the unavailability of assessment instruments causes the assessment to be biased and subjective. This research was conducted on 30 class XII students at a private school in Manado. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of rubrics as a teacher's assessment instrument in writing editorial text activities for high school students. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. Based on the research results, it was found that rubrics can help teachers to see students' abilities in writing editorial texts, provide evaluations of students' writing results based on the criteria that have not been achieved, and assess students fairly and accurately based on the criteria contained in the rubric. The use of rubrics helps teachers realize God's love and justice in assessing and supporting students' potential in writing. In addition, the beauty and meaning of student writing can reveal the Creator to others. Therefore, the authors suggest determining skills that need to be assessed using rubrics, communicating achievement criteria to students, and providing evaluations based on rubrics criteria to support student growth.Bahasa Indonesia AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan penulis pada struktur tulisan opini teks editorial siswa yang memiliki perbedaan pada kelengkapan isi. Hal ini merujuk pada penilaian capaian siswa yang tidak berada pada standar penilaian yang sama. Sebagai suatu rangkaian pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan, hal ini membutuhkan penilaian dan evaluasi dari guru. Akan tetapi, tidak tersedianya instrumen penilaian menyebabkan penilaian menjadi bias dan subjektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 30 siswa kelas XII di salah satu sekolah swasta di Manado. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memaparkan penggunaan rubrik sebagai instrumen penilaian guru pada kegiatan menulis teks editorial siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa rubrik dapat membantu guru melihat kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks editorial, pemberian evaluasi pada hasil tulisan siswa berdasarkan kriteria yang masih belum tercapai, dan menilai siswa secara adil dan akurat berdasarkan kriteria yang dimuat di dalam rubrik. Penggunaan rubrik membantu guru mewujudkan kasih dan keadilan Allah dalam melakukan penilaian dan mendukung potensi siswa dalam menulis. The data sources in this study are observation sheets on the behavior of students according to the indicators set by the researcher, and the test results after learning treatment is carried out. It created an online learning ecosystem to enact the essential role of cognitive engagement by students. This qualitative research utilized multimodal data collection to examine students' voices to assess how they perceived the cognitive engagement dimension during emergency remote teaching (ERT). Data were gathered from 60 students from three higher education institutions in Indonesia's urban areas. The findings revealed that the ERT environment requires students to self-regulate their learning by employing their preferred strategies to comprehend the material. Moreover, they engage in meaningful learning by relating content to their prior experiences and knowledge. Students also believe that teachers play a vital role in ERT as authoritative figures and focal learning points. They view teachers as the main agents for fostering and enhancing their cognitive engagement. This study draws attention to the need for continuous teacher professional development in ERT by concentrating on students' needs. </p><p class=\"abstrak\"><strong>Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: </strong>Situasi pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada sistem pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia. Ini menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran online untuk memberlakukan peran penting keterlibatan kognitif oleh siswa. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pengumpulan data multimodal untuk memeriksa suara siswa untuk menilai bagaimana mereka merasakan dimensi keterlibatan kognitif dalam fenomena pengajaran jarak jauh darurat. Data dari 60 mahasiswa dari tiga perguruan tinggi yang berada di perkotaan Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan pengajaran darurat mengharuskan siswa untuk menerapkan proses belajar mandiri dengan mengatur preferensi metode pembelajaran mereka untuk memahami isi materi. Bahkan, mereka melakukan pembelajaran yang bermakna dengan menghubungkan konten dengan pengalaman dan pengetahuan mereka sebelumnya. Mereka juga percaya bahwa guru, serta siswa, memainkan peran penting dalam lingkungan pengajaran darurat. Selain itu, karena keyakinan mereka bahwa guru masih menjadi pusat pembelajaran sebagai sosok otoriter, mereka menggambarkan guru sebagai agen utama untuk mempromosikan dan meningkatkan keterlibatan kognitif mereka. However, students often lack this responsibility when they are learning in the classroom. This can be seen when some students focus on their activities and not all students contribute to discussions. One of the things that is done to strive for student responsibility is to apply a cooperative learning model of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type. The present study aims to explain the steps of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) cooperative learning model to seek student responsibility in the classroom. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The conclusion of this research is that the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) type cooperative learning model is carried out with the following steps, explaining the material and learning objectives, dividing and directing students to work together in groups, and finally providing evaluation and appreciation of student work. Thus, the Student Teams Achievement Division type of cooperative learning model can strive for student responsibility.Bahasa Indonesia AbstrakProses pembelajaran yang berlangsung di dalam kelas, menuntut tanggung jawab setiap siswa agar pembelajaran tidak pasif melainkan aktif sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Fakta yang ditemukan adalah kurangnya tanggung jawab siswa saat melakukan pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Hal ini terlihat dari sebagian siswa yang masih sibuk dengan kegiatan mereka masing-masing dan tidak semua anak berkontribusi untuk melakukan diskusi. Salah satu hal yang dilakukan untuk mengupayakan tanggung jawab siswa adalah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student team achievement division. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan langkah-langkah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) untuk mengupayakan tanggung jawab siswa di kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Kesimpulan dari penulisan penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut, menjelaskan materi dan tujuan pembelajaran, membagi dan mengarahkan siswa untuk bekerja sama dalam kelompok, dan yang terakhir memberikan evaluasi serta penghargaan terhadap hasil kerja siswa. However, the lack of students' competence regarding access to learning and technology remains an educational challenge in this era. The purpose of this article is to identify and develop competency profiles of students in the Society 5.0 era for social studies education. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review approach that is relevant to the competency profile of students in terms of character, citizenship, critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication. The analysis results show that the six competencies are effectively implemented in schools by educators through concrete efforts to improve the quality of learning models, provide space for developing student competencies, and consistently make efforts to strengthen students' character, values, and ethics.Bahasa Indonesia AbstrakMunculnya era Society 5.0 membuka peluang sekaligus tantangan yang semakin kompleks bagi eksistensi dan kemajuan dunia pendidikan dengan dukungan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi dalam proses pembelajaran yang diharapkan mampu mencetak peserta didik yang adaptif terhadap perubahan sosial di sekitar tempat tinggalnya. Namun, minimnya kompetensi peserta didik terhadap akses pembelajaran dan teknologi masih menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi dunia pendidikan di era tersebut. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk melakukan identifikasi dan mengembangkan profil kompetensi peserta didik di era Society 5.0 dalam perspektif Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian literatur yang relevan dengan profil kompetensi peserta didik dalam hal karakter, kewarganegaraan, berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. However, research focusing on the learning experience and teaching skills of preservice teachers based on inquiry is still lacking. The practices that a preservice teacher undertakes in his/her teaching years are strongly influenced by his/her learning experience in teacher education. The inquiry learning experienced by preservice teachers while in college will later affect inquiry-based teaching practiced in schools. This qualitative research aims to describe inquiry practices conducted by pre-service teachers. The sample of the study was 33 preservice primary teachers who took the second-year science content course named Integrated Science for Primary. There are two questions that will be the focus of this research: 1) How does Kath Murdoch’s Inquiry Cycle help preservice teachers experience significant learning? 2) How does an inquiry cycle help preservice teachers design Inquiry-based Science Lesson Plan? This study shows that learning through Kath Murdoch’s inquiry cycle is found as an interesting and useful approach for preservice teachers to understand how scientific processes are integrated into their experiment designs. Also, an inquiry cycle used in guided practices (including metacognitive prompts, reflections, and group discussion) could provide preservice teachers with the necessary skills to develop an inquiry-based teaching plan. Yet, this does not guarantee that preservice teachers would successfully facilitate inquiry in a real classroom setting. Bahasa Indonesia AbstrakBanyak penelitian tentang inkuiri berfokus pada pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap kemampuan belajar siswa dan keterampilan sains. Namun, penelitian yang berfokus pada pengalaman belajar dan keterampilan mengajar calon guru yang berbasis inkuiri masih sedikit. Praktik yang dilakukan seorang calon guru di tahun-tahun mengajarnya sangat dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman belajarnya selama di pendidikan keguruan. Pembelajaran inkuiri yang dialami oleh calon guru selama di bangku kuliah nantinya akan mempengaruhi pengajaran berbasis inkuiri yang dipraktikkan di sekolah. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan praktik inkuiri yang dilakukan oleh calon guru. Sampel penelitian adalah 33 calon guru SD yang mengambil mata kuliah konten sains tahun kedua yaitu IPA Terpadu untuk Sekolah Dasar. This may seem to be promoting the patriarchy concept as allegedly endorsed by Christianity, that woman was created to be a helper to man and because of that, woman is inferior to man. However, the Bible also mentions several female leaders and defends the inclusive culture where men and women are working together for God’ Kingdom. It is reflected by the many women at the middle management level in Christian higher education in Indonesia. Yet, studies about female in the middle management in Indonesia’s Christian universities are still limited. To further understand the issue, this study employs the phenomenology approach of the qualitative research method. In-depth interviews with six participants from two Christian universities in Indonesia were conducted in two weeks. From the findings, the authors propose a framework involving three elements that shape the Christian Female Leadership. Hal ini seakan mengesankan bahwa Kekristenan mendukung konsep patriarki di mana wanita di ciptakan sebagai penolong bagi pria yang karenanya, wanita dianggap berada di bawah pria. Namun, Alkitab sebenarnya juga menyebutkan beberapa pemimpin wanita dan membela budaya inklusif di mana wanita dan pria bekerja sama untuk Kerajaan Allah. Ini tercermin dari banyaknya wanita pada level manajemen menengah di pendidikan tinggi Kristen di Indonesia. Akan tetapi, studi tentang wanita sebagai pemimpin pada level madya pada kampus Kristen di Indonesia masih terbatas.
