However, previous studies on the association between economic growth and poverty have shown inconclusive results.This study fills the gap of the above research differences by introducing income inequality as a moderating variable in the relationship between economic growth and poverty. Secondary data from 34 provinces in Indonesia during 2016-2020 period were analyzed using panel data moderated regression. The results showed that while simple linear regression model indicates positive significant effect of economic growth on poverty, the interaction between economic growth and income inequality shows negative significant effect on poverty. This paper concludes that income inequality as measured by the Gini index moderates the effect of economic growth on poverty which supports the importance of inclusive economic growth.","PeriodicalId":31920,"journal":{"name":"Trikonomika","volume":"29 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141705437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis approach. The independent variables are financial inclusion, population quality level, poverty, unemployment, and the dependent variable is economic growth. The total data employed is 1020 which was taken from the Central Agency of Statistic (BPS) and the Financial Service Authority (OJK) in year 2016-2021. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square with Structural Equation Modelling and bootstrapping method. The results showed that financial inclusion does not have an effect on economic growth, poverty and unemployment. Poverty and unemployment cannot mediate the correlation between financial inclusion and level of population quality on economic growth. Unemployment has a positive effect on poverty.A slower economic growth and poverty in Indonesia are still a crucial problem that must be solved, therefore this study gives essential implications to provide data for policymakers such as the OJK that has important role on encouraging financial inclusion and economic growth; as well as BPS in reducing poverty and unemployment; and to enrich literature and theory.","PeriodicalId":31920,"journal":{"name":"Trikonomika","volume":"492 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141707899","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research used a quantitative survey methodology with a sample of 66 female nurses. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observations, and path analysis was used to analyze the data. The results indicate that work-family conflict has a negative and significant impact on organizational commitment, while job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. Work-family conflict also has a negative and significant impact on nurse performance, while job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on nurse performance. Furthermore, organizational commitment has a positive and significant impact on nurse performance. These findings suggest that work-family conflict and job satisfaction influence nurse performance and that organizational commitment mediates this relationship.","PeriodicalId":31920,"journal":{"name":"Trikonomika","volume":"47 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139390147","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lower-middle-income countries are constrained by ineffective or poorly implemented economic policies in those countries. One indicator of this ineffectiveness is the low rate of controlling rent-seeking in lower-middle-income countries. Therefore, this study analyzes the effect of controlling rent-seeking on the economic growth of lower-middle-income countries. It is important to study where economic growth has an important role in the economic development of lower-middle-income countries. This study also uses control variables such as capital formation, population, and lag of economic growth through the Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) approach. Based on the results of regression testing that has been carried out, controlling rent seeking and capital formation is known to have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in lower-middle-income countries. Meanwhile population has a negative and significant effect on the economic growth of lower-middle-income countries.","PeriodicalId":31920,"journal":{"name":"Trikonomika","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49017911","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
