The analysis and simulation of the solid materials is done by employing a hollow cylindrical cavity resonator. This method provides parameters of high accuracy for calculating the permittivity and permeability of solid materials. The dielectric properties of hollow cavity are first determined by measuring resonant frequency and quality factor. Then, the same analysis has been carried out by filling the hollow cavity by a solid material. The raw ECG signal is first digitalized by passing it through an analog to digital converter (ADC), then a Wavelet decomposer is used for the decomposition of the signal into four Wavelet Filter Banks. A Noise detector is connected to the output of one of the Wavelet Filter Bank (#one) and works as an input to the QRS Complex detector. The QRS Complex detector consists of Multi Scaled product and Soft Threshold algorithms. On the basis of noise information obtained from the noise detector, the Multi Scaled Product algorithm selects the outputs of Wavelet Filter Banks and Multiply these using a radix-4 Booth multiplier for the detection of QRS Complex wave. The Soft Threshold algorithm is used to increase the accuracy of the QRS Complex detection. The proposed QRS complex detector is simulated using ModelSim simulator and synthesized on Xilinx SPARTAN-6 FPGA using Project Navigator version 6.1i. Nodes are deployed over the three layer boundaries in which the upper layer contains the anchor nodes (known position) that are randomly distributed and the middle layer and the bottom layer contain the randomly distributed target nodes. Optimized edge weights between the anchor nodes and the target node are used to find the location of the target node. Fuzzy Logic System (FLS) is used to overcome the problem of nonlinearity between the Received Signal Strength (RSS) and distance. Both models were built by using Stochastic pattern recognition and Acoustic phonetic schemes to recognise phonemes. Since our native language is Kannada, a rich South Indian Language, we have used 15 Kannada phonemes to train and test these models. Since Mel - Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) are well known Acoustic features of speech, we have used the same in speech feature extraction. Due to applied axial strain the material and waveguide parameters of LPFG changes which cause the shifts in position of attenuation band in LPFG spectra. The shift in attenuation band is used to gauge the response of cladding modes LP<sub>16</sub>, LP<sub>17</sub>, LP<sub>18</sub>, LP<sub>19</sub> and LP<sub>20</sub> possessing different grating periods. The LPFG is modeled on SMF28 optical fiber's specifications and shift in attenuation band is studied over applied axial strain range of 0-1000 μs (micro strain). Here the emphasis is made on channel negotiation, it helps to improve the spectrum management. A dynamic MCMC (Markov Chain Monte Carlo) approach is used to resolve the optimization problem for channel selection. In addition, this work offers a suite of mechanisms for the implementation of the principles proposed, including segmentation of long packets and arbitration that controls on power request-to-send function (RTS) and Clear-to-Send (CTS) level in a multi-channel environment. Here cyclostationary detection technique which at beginning will sense the channel and filter them for the further use, this way it will make the channel negotiation and access scheme to work more efficiently. Th NS-2 simulation is used to analyze the result with respect to proposed approach and examine its performance. For performance evaluation, all objective speech quality assessment algorithms require the Mean Opinion Score-Listening Quality Subjective (MOS-LQS) or subjective MOS obtained from the subjective listening test for comparison with the Mean Opinion Score-Listening Quality Objective (MOS-LQO) or objective MOS. This paper gives details of the subjective database created for the different applications. In this work, subjective speech quality assessment has been done for speech utterances at different degradation/noise conditions to assign the MOS-LQS or subjective MOS and compared with MOS-LQO or the objective MOS obtained from an algorithm based on relevant auditory perception features for an illustration. Two different databases NOIZEUS-960 and NOIZEUS-2240 having 3200 speech utterances processed by different speech enhancement algorithms at different types of real life noise conditions have been used for subjective listening test by real life users. The statistical analysis of the MOS-LQS assigned by different subjects for different degraded speech utterances has been done and its details are reported in the paper. It can be significantly improved by using a variety of techniques. Multilayer based technique can improve the bandwidth of the patch antenna for various applications. In this paper, bandwidth enhanced frequency reconfigurable circular microstrip patch antenna (CPA) with variable air gap is presented. Microstrip patch antenna for different air gap length is studied and for each air gap frequency and bandwidth of the antenna is measured. The results are compared with the theories and experimental values available in open literature.
