In particular, a strategy based on filtered Relative Orbit Elements is proposed for an autonomous low thrust orbit control algorithm. An Earth Observation constellation with Sinthetic Aperture Radar for Differential Interferometry is taken as a reference mission for the simulations. The filter significantly reduces the variance of the relative orbit elements. This reduction, in combination with the use of current Precise Point Positioning navigation, enables the continuous low thrust control compatible with high performance electric propulsion. The same control and filtering strategies may also be implemented for formation flying.","PeriodicalId":318846,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Biennial Congress of Argentina (ARGENCON)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125147385","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the Paraná River wetland system has been going through a critical hydrological situation for a couple of years, which triggers many fire events that challenge the academic community as well as the local governments. Common low spatial resolutions remote sensing products seem to be unsuitable to monitor the processes associated with fire events in wetland environments. Thus, in this work we analyzed the use of vegetation indexes and surface temperature with fine spatial resolution images, such as Sentinel 2 and Landsat, to capture the variability of fire stages in the Paraná River wetlands. Our results suggest that Sentinel 2 and Landsat 8 and 9 are appropriate to monitor heterogeneous burned vegetation and its recovery.","PeriodicalId":318846,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Biennial Congress of Argentina (ARGENCON)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127966761","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using computational simulation tools, a real network was modeled comprising a medium voltage feeder, medium to low voltage transformers, low voltage secondary distribution, user consumption, and solar generation sources in homes. From the simulation of the operation of the network in different photovoltaic generation insertion scenarios and for a calendar year (2019), it was possible to evaluate the behavior of different electrical variables of the system, and in particular those related to its active losses. Based on the simulations and results, it was possible to break down the composition of active losses and identify those components that influence energy savings from traditional generation systems and that contribute to an improvement in the efficiency of the distribution system; although in realistic photovoltaic generation insertion scenarios, these contributions are not significant.","PeriodicalId":318846,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Biennial Congress of Argentina (ARGENCON)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130495713","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We propose a new discrete version (D-ACOR) based on the operating principles of ACO with real domain. We also solve the problem exactly to compare the results of the algorithms against the best possible solutions. For showing the D-ACOR performance, we take as case studies two biquadratic filters: a low-pass and a bandpass, both with an infinite-gain multiple-feedback topology. The results are excel-lent because the algorithm achieves solutions with minimal sen-sitivities that meet the specifications. Furthermore, the performance comparison with other heuristics shows that D-ACOR has lower sensitivity values and presents better computational efficiency even if it requires a more significant number of independent runs to find successful solutions.","PeriodicalId":318846,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Biennial Congress of Argentina (ARGENCON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129452860","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Differential protection relays are widely used in this type of machine to detect faults of this nature. However, they are not effective enough when the faults are in an incipient stage where only a few inter-turns are involved. Therefore, it is of interest to develop strategies that allow early detection of this type of faults. In this work, a strategy for inter-turn short-circuit detection through differential admittance monitoring is proposed. Through computational simulations on a 5 kVA transformer, it is shown that the strategy is sensitive to faults involving from 2% of the winding with a current in the fault loop of 1 p.u. Furthermore, the fault detection strategy is not sensitive to transformer load state, load or voltage unbalance, under or over voltages, and harmonic content.","PeriodicalId":318846,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Biennial Congress of Argentina (ARGENCON)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126403677","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In mid-term horizon, this complexity is also related to the uncertainty associated with some input parameters, such as demand and water inflow. Simplifications have been used in conventional models to solve this optimization problem; however, considering these reductions can lead to unrealistic solutions. Given the advantages of meta-heuristic tools, in terms of simplicity of their application to solve complex problems, obtaining a solution near to optimal and considering that models developed in the literature have addressed simple cases and have not exploited the advantages of metaheuristics, this paper proposes an application based on the Mean Variance Mapping metaheuristic technique to solve the optimal programming of a hydrothermal system in the mid-term horizon. A Numerical test on a system of cascaded reservoirs is presented, where the uncertainty of the water inflows was modeled by means of a scenario tree. The results are validated with Benders’ Decomposition model. It was assumed a single-node system, describe by both linear objective function and linear restrictions, however the proposed methodology can be applied to cases with a higher degree of complexity.","PeriodicalId":318846,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Biennial Congress of Argentina (ARGENCON)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127636507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Las características acústicas que miden la articulación vocálica han demostrado ser indicadores eficaces para la evaluación de la EP. En diversas investigaciones se ha reportado que la articulación vocálica clínica, el índice de articulación vocálica y la relación de centralización de los formantes, son medidas relevantes para detectar la enfermedad. A partir de medidas obtenidas para una base de datos propia, nos propusimos obtener indicadores de la capacidad articulatoria que diferencien a enfermos con EP. Se calcularon variables asociadas a medidas derivadas del triángulo vocal y de los dos primeros formantes de las vocales /a/, /i/ y /u/. Algunas de estas medidas muestran diferencias medias significativas, por lo que se contemplaron en el ajuste de un modelo de regresión logística. La clasificación obtenida muestra que, si bien no logran resultados óptimos por sí mismas, las variables asociadas al triángulo vocal constituyen otros marcadores a tener en cuenta para detectar la progresión de la enfermedad de Parkinson.","PeriodicalId":318846,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Biennial Congress of Argentina (ARGENCON)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117017183","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A partir de muestras (n = 150) tomadas sobre un mapa de coberturas, se construyeron series temporales provenientes del radar de apertura sintética (SAR) Sentinel-1B, expresadas en valores de retrodispersión (aγ0) en el tiempo comprendido entre abril del 2018 y abril del 2019. Se estudió la dinámica anual de las coberturas: Monte, Arbustales y Matorrales y Pastizales. Para conocer la aplicabilidad de los datos SAR en el monitoreo de la vegetación en un área del Valle de Traslasierra, la metodología de preprocesamiento de las imágenes y la construcción de series temporales se desarrollaron y adaptaron en una plataforma de geoprocesamiento en la nube con código abierto. Se consideró de manera particular el ángulo de incidencia local de las imágenes Sentinel-1B por tratarse de un área de montaña; para esto se calcularon los valores de retrodispersión gamma nought (γ0) a partir de sigma nought (σ0). Asimismo, la humedad de suelo y las precipitaciones diarias fueron estudiadas como variables explicativas en este trabajo por generar cambios en el retorno de la onda. Se espera que el esfuerzo centrado en el desarrollo metodológico de los algoritmos en la etapa del preprocesamiento de los datos SAR pueda ser una contribución técnica para los usuarios finales en el monitoreo de los bosques nativos.","PeriodicalId":318846,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Biennial Congress of Argentina (ARGENCON)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121416310","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
