The New Order is the government that established the first Islamic bank in Indonesia, but its relationship to political Islam has been strained in the past so it is delayed up to 1992. \u0000The era of reform marked by better relations between political Islam and the state has had an impact on progress in the field of Islamic financial institutions. \u0000However, in the development of the last 5 years, there has been no visible progressive policy that has led to the accelerated growth of Islamic finance, especially Islamic banking, which has stopped at 5% market share of conventional banking. \u0000The era of President Jokowi is the first government to formulate the Sharia Economic Master Plan 2019-2024 within the framework of state policy. This study aims to classify the type and the potential of pondok pesantren in Banyumas regency. This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive-inferential method. The amount of 24 pondok pesantren has been learned. The data has been collected by observation, interview, and document review in 2019. The result showed that pondok pesantren in Banyumas Regency established in many types. Pondok pesantren salaf has higher economic potential than pondok pesantren khalafi and the convergence pesantren. Some of pondok pesantren salaf that need to be improved in entrepreneurship are Pondok Pesantren Al-Anwar Sumpiuh and Pondok Pesantren An-Najah. Pondok Pesantren Anwaarul Hidayah (Baturraden) and Pondok Pesantren An-Nur (Kedungbanteng) have agriculture potential. Pondok Pesantren An-Nur (Kedungbanteng) and Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Hikmah (Kembaran) need to be improved in fisheries business while Pondok Pesantren Al-Falah (Rawalo) and Nuururohman (Kemranjen) need to be improved in livestock. In the aspect of education, it is needed how to do it with existing resources, existing technology, education can continue to run well, be conducive and the learning process can be conveyed properly. So that learning can continue, collaboration is maintained, then all elements are responsible for education. Learning Islamic religious education and character will be successful if there is an appropriate model that can be practiced during the pandemic, so that learning continues and can meet expectations. \u0000 This research aims to identify and analyze the learning model of Islamic religious education and manners during the pandemic at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of research being Islamic religious education teachers and character at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. Respondents in this study were 181 MSMEs delivered from various regencies in Central Java Province. \u0000Methodology: Hypothesis testing conducted by performing multiple linear regression tests with SPSS 25 for windows. \u0000Main Findings: The results of the study showed that internal factors: human resources, the use of accounting information and the use of information technology had a significant positive effect on the success of business performance and external factors which are government support and the business climate also had a significant positive effect on the success of business performance. \u0000 Implication: The future studies could be more specialized in the types of MSMEs such as: business food, batik or handicraft so that the research results can be compared. Further research can also add both internal or external variables such as owner knowledge, business age, business scale or competitiveness. It also evaluates the most considers attributes in choosing an Islamic bank. Accidental sampling is used in this study with a total of respondents as 100. To observe the difference in customer preferences, the scoring method and Chi-Square analysis are applied, meanwhile, Fishbein’s Attitude model is used to discover the customer attitudes. It is concluded that there is a significant difference in customer preferences on choosing Islamic banks on Ex-Banyumas residency, particularly when it is based on gender and long-period of customer status. It also revealed that customers’ decision in choosing Islamic banks is influenced by service quality. The findings of this study could give valuable input to Islamic bank management in the improvement in their services. This study is explaining the implementation of the Islamic principle in banking operational activities, as in fact the main reason for most customers to get services from the Islamic bank.
