According to an excavation report published by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the temple is the tomb of King Dongmyeong, located in front of it. However, the name and nature of the temple (Nungsa Temple) were confirmed through the literature excavated from the temple site, and it is unclear whether Jeongneungsa Temple was the tomb of King Dongmyeong. \u0000An excavation report published in North Korea in 1964 focused on the tomb of King Dongmyeong, and the area around the tomb of King Dongmyeong was considered to be the tomb guarding the tomb of King Dongmyeong. Jeongneungsa Temple is also described as the tomb of King Dongmyeong. In addition, the fact that the scope of the temple is not symmetrical emphasizes its specificity as it is a combination of the temple and the ruins of the palace. This is an obstacle to understanding Jeongneungsa Temple. \u0000In this article, I would like to mention the problems of research on Jeongneungsa Temple Site in Pyongyang and suggest the direction of future research on Jeongneungsa Temple Site. First, Jeongneungsa Temple is understood as a tomb group by dividing Dongmyeong Royal Tomb and Jeongneungsa Temple, and Jeongneungsa Temple has the characteristics of Neungsa Temple of the entire Jinpa-ri Ancient Tombs using the concept of family tombs. In addition, I would like to point out that the octagonal flag identified within Jeongneungsa Temple Site is emphasized as a characteristic of Goguryeo, and it is necessary to keep various situations in mind.

Looking in the context of the U.S. urban development and the deployment of immigration policicies, it is clear that it is an error to explain the immigrant spatial dispersion to the suburbs as the result of assimilation to the white majority. Migrant minorities were able to expand their residences to suburban areas due to the legal abolition of segregation, the suburbanization of the U.S. spurred by the rise of the automobile industry, and the changes in U.S. immigration policy, and the global economic restructuration that brought in Asian immigrants with different socioeconomic characteristics. \u0000In particular, Koreans who formed visible immigration groups in the mid-20th century did not have a history of being trapped in enclaves of the same nature as Ghetto, and lived outside the enclaves since the 1970s which was quite early for immigrant groups. The formation of Koreans’ residence in cluster in the suburban cities and their expansion were made in the context of transnational operation, influenced not only by the environment of the U.S., but also by the political and economic situation and immigration policies of Korea. \u0000Segregation which had created the ethnic enclaves was legally abolished, but the separation of residences is still being regenerated in the U.S., expanding the rule of separation into other dynamics, such as ethnicity and class. Even as the immigrant generation progresses, the structure of dispersion and concentration of ethnic residences reveals what the racial, ethnic, and hierarchical conflict of American society is like through the issue of space.

The Korean academic began to criticize colonial historiography in the 1960s. After the Northeast Frontier Research Fever appeared in China in the early 21st century, the “Man Xian’s View of History” became the focus of the Korean academic. A series of critical studies focused on the “Man Xian’s View of History” of ancient Korean history, Gao Gou Li history, and Bohai history. These studies mainly expose and criticize theories such as “inseparable theory of Manchurian-Korea”, “non China theory of Manchuria and Mongolia”, and “inseparable relationship between Manchuria and Japan”, which are carried out by Japanese scholars like Shirikuki and Inaba Yanji for the needs of the Japanese Empire's invasion and expansion to Korea and China and its colonial rule. \u0000There has been another proposal to rethink the problems and limitations in “colonial history research”, and to reconstruct the ancient Korean history system. The key to finding an effective method to solve the East Asian history ownership problem is to avoid equalizing historical problems with contemporary reality, to avoid equalizing territorial problems with history. Historical studies should be considered purely academical and historical facts should be restored by “seeking truth from facts”.

In particular, the Jingnan Campaign served as a direct opportunity to reverse the Joseon-Ming relationship, which reached its ruin. However, it was Joseon's active and preemptive diplomacy that stabilized Joseon- Ming relations. \u0000King Jeongjong(定宗) dispatched two groups of envoys to try to contact the Jianwen 建文court. Jianwen Emperor showed favor to Joseon and accepted to bestow a title. However, The enthronement of King Taejong(太 宗) provided suspicions to Jianwen Emperor. The relationship between Joseon and Ming was stagnated again. King Taejong dedicated 3,000 horses as well as proposed horse trade in order to reverse Joseon-Ming relationship. \u0000Eventually, Jianwen Emperor bestowed King Taejong the title as a king of Joseon. \u0000In the second year of King Taejong's reign, Joseon began to end its relations with the Jianwen court in anticipation of Yongle(永樂) Emperor's victory. At this time, there were two major diplomatic agendas that could have been disputed: horse trade and fugitive soldiers(漫散軍) issues. \u0000Upon hearing the news of the enthronement of Yongle Emperor, Joseon sent an envoy as soon as possible to celebrate the enthronement. Envoy Ha-Ryun(河崙) used his wit to ask the emperor to renew Joseon-Ming relationship. The emperor readily allowed it. At the same time, he demanded that the horse trade and fugitive soldiers issues, which occurred during the Jianwen reign, should be resolved. Joseon quickly resolved the two issues, which played a crucial role in stabilizing Joseon-Ming relations.

Bok-Hyu Lee proposed Gyunyeokbeop(均役法) as an alternative solution to the confusion of the status system caused by the absence of private servants. He insisted that if the central government does not receive Gunpo(軍布) from personal servants, the owner would pay private servant's Gunpo(軍布) instead and maintain the form of serving the master, there would be no loss in the state's financial income and personal servants would not be dissatisfied. Furthermore, he suggested that Yangban(兩班) of Kyunghyang((京鄕, Seoul and local) should be incorporated into Gunjung (軍丁, serviceperson) according to the number of households, and that Yangban(兩班) who do not participate in this should not take the state exam. However, Bok-Hyu Lee's argument can be judged as suggesting an alternative method to maintain the existing status order. Nevertheless, we can see the meaning of the change in the status system regarding the claim of a scholar who is a flawed and stubborn scholar living in the province near the capital. \u0000Residents of Ilyong·Songdong-myeon(一用·松洞面), who had suffered the inconvenience of paying taxes to Gwangju, wanted to be transferred to Suwon. Bok-Hyu Lee's opinion suggested Songdong-myeon(松洞面) as an alternative to Wangryun-myeon(王倫面), which is convenient to stay in Gwangju, and requested that the convenience of the people should be reconsidered if it is transferred to Suwon. It was pointed out that the installment of the tax would cause harmful effects on the people. \u0000Furthermore, looking at Bok-Hyu Lee's argument for the theory of Hwaseong fortification, it can be seen that discussions took place regardless of the central government and regions. Bok-Hyu Lee suggested a method that could be implemented by dividing the construction period of Hwaseong into three years, and in the end, the construction of Hwaseong was completed in two years and seven months, some realistic validity of his argument was predicted. \u0000Therefore, at this time, Bok-Hyu Lee raised arguments on the issues of Jeonbu(田賦), the fortification of Hwaseong, and Gunjung(軍政) which was a reform plan for the low-class people of this era who were almost in ruins due to the excessive and unreasonable system of Jeonse(田税)・ Yoyeok(徭役)・Gunyeok(軍役). And it can be seen as an improvement plan for the development of the Suwon community.

Regarding the main hall site, this chapter introduces the issues related to a double stylobate, a foundation stone (found between the top and bottom stylobates), and a stylobate made of roof tiles; while, regarding the wooden pagoda, it explains the importance of studying the method of “mounding” the foundation soil, and discusses the presence of a steep road (to transport stones), an underground-style foundation stone (which supported the main pillar), and the method of installing the reliquaries. In addition, it explains which kinds of building remains need to be clarified and compared to other temples in Buyeo. \u0000Chapter IV covers the research results and issues related to the major relics excavated from this site in terms of art history, archaeology, and the history of architecture. Late Jin refused to call himself a servant to Kithan. Kithan then angered and decided on the policy of the invasion of Late Jin. Kithan began the invasion in 946 and destroyed Late Jin. In 947, Tai-zong of Kithan entered Kaifeng, the capital of Late Jin. Of the Nine-Seodang, six were organized as people from groups conquered to Silla(新羅). It is noteworthy that the time when official ranks were opened to people from Baekje(百濟) and Goguryeo(高句麗) and the time when Seodang was organized by them almost coincide. As the Silla government prepared the institutional basis for utilizing the upper echelons of each group, it would have been possible for people from the conquered group to be appointed as military officers of the Nine-Seodang. \u0000In 『SamgukSagi(三國史記)』, it is said that the Daedaegam(隊大監) who is the highest rank among the cavalry officers of the Nine-Seodang will lead the Mabyeong(馬兵). Mabyeong is a branch of the military service that can shoot while moving on horseback. One of the military characteristics of the Nine-Seodang is that their proportion is large. It is estimated that horse breeding and riding customs have been established in Silla since the middle of the 6th century. Based on this, those who belonged to a class that produced bureaucrats and could afford high-level training would have served as horsemen in the Nine-Seodang. Among the Nine-Seodang, the relatively early ones actually waged war. They were organized as Silla people. It is also believed that the Beakgeumseodang(白衿誓幢) composed of people from Baekje was formed in response to the clash with the Baekje refugees mobilized from the Tang(唐) Dynasty. The ‘Seo(誓)’ used in the name of Seodang was an absolute pledge to receive rewards or punishments according to standards and results. It can be said that the Silla government recruited people with military capabilities enough to preemptively promise victory and rewards and organized them into Seodang. \u0000Since the late 7th century, the Nine-Seodang took on the character of the royal guard, and its members also played a role in raising the status of the king. The unique color of each Seodang was clearly distinguished from other military organizations, showing that its members were members of the royal guard. In particular, it can be said that the appearance of the military service of the Nine-Seodang officers from the conquered groups or the appearance of the splendidly decorated Mabyeong participating in events such as receiving the envoys was a visual decoration of the king's authority.
