Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas X IPS 5 SMA Pasundan 1 Cianjur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan hasil kerja siswa. Hasil kemampuan siswa dalam menemukan realitas kehidupan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menemukan realitas kehidupan dalam biografi Chairil Anwar dengan model discovery learning sudah baik.This article discusses the application of discovery learning model in learning of finding reality of life in a biography. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class X IPS 5 of SMA Pasundan 1 Cianjur. Data were collected from questionnaire and students’ work. The results of students' work in finding the reality of life were analyzed by content analysis techniques. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menganalisis nilai-nilai religius dalam biografi Buya Hamka dengan menggunakan strategi inkuiri sudah baik.This article discusses the use of inquiry strategies in learning to analyze the religious value of Buya Hamka's biography. The method used in this research was descriptive method. Research subjects were 31 students of class XI Science 4 SMA Negeri 1 Cibeber. Data collection used observation format, assessment rubric, and the result of analysis of religious values in the biography of Buya Hamka. The process and results of student learning were analyzed with quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results show that the process and student learning outcomes can be improved through inquiry strategies. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskripsi dengan instrumen portofolio, observasi, dan wawancara. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Al Azhar 18 Cianjur, Agustus-Oktober 2018. Portofolio yang digunakan 27 buah yang dibuat oleh anak-anak kelas VI. Selain menggunakan portofolio, data juga diperoleh dari petugas perpustakaan dan guru. Data dalam penelitian adalah judul-judul buku yang dibaca, yang diinginkan dibaca, dan upaya yang dilakukan sekolah dan guru dalam meningkatkan minat baca. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat baca siswa baik. Jumlah rata-rata buku yang dibaca dalam setahun terakhir 6 judul buku yang terdiri dari berbagai buku, tetapi umumnya buku cerita atau cerita. Program pengembangan minat baca yang dilakukan adalah mengunjungi perpustakaan sekolah yang diadakan setiap Senin, 13.00-14.30. Meski begitu, ternyata minat mengunjungi perpustakaan berdasarkan data dua bulan terakhir diketahui tidak terlalu menggembirakan, hanya berjumlah 7,4 siswa yang datang berkunjung dan membaca di perpustakaan. This article discusses the use of class and portfolio assessments in developing students’ interest in reading. The research method used is description with portfolio instruments, observation, and interviews. The study was conducted at Al Azhar 18 Elementary School in Cianjur, from August to October 2018. Portfolios of twenty seven of 6th grade students were used. In addition to using portfolios, data were also obtained from library staff and teachers. The data in the study were the titles of books read by the students, the titles they wanted, and the efforts made by schools and teachers in increasing reading interest. The results show that students' interest in reading was good. The average number of books read in the past year is 6 titles consisting of various books, commonly story books or stories. The program conducted to develop reading interest is visiting the school library every Monday from 1 to 2.30 pm. Selanjutnya, hasil evaluasi dijadikan sebagai bahan perbaikan bagi peserta didik. Kegiatan saling mencermati, mengkritisi, menilai sesama peserta didik, merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran aktif.Smartphone is an information technology media that can be used in learning to speak. One of the uses of smartphones in learning to speak is to record the speaking activities of students. Recordings can be uploaded to certain page to serve as examples, models, manifestations of learning outcomes, and others. Recordings can also be displayed in class for evaluation, both by the teacher and colleagues. The evaluation includes aspects of language, content, and performance. Furthermore, the results of the evaluation serve as material for improvement for students. Kahoot! application is commonly played by gamers in their smartphone. However, the writer used this application as a medium of teaching Bahasa Indonesia, more specifically during the quiz. The quiz was conducted once in the session of the subtopic Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan (EYD). The research method used in this study was descriptive method, with questionnaire as the research instrument. The results show that the students were more motivated, more enthusiastic and able to manage their time to think throughout the quiz. There was no tense atmosphere, and all students seemed happy and enthusiastic in answering each question. The research uses a development method that focuses on efforts to produce and validate a learning model, especially learning implementation activities that are in the lesson plan made by Indonesian language teachers Class IX. The products developed in the study are steps in Indonesian language learning especially with regard to text reporting experiments. The results of the study were in the form of developing learning steps in detail and contained the values of strengthening character education. The results of the study are expected to facilitate teachers in carrying out Indonesian language learning and also facilitate in preparing lesson plans. The research design used in this study is One Group Pre-test Post-test. The design is aimed to find out the result of the subject and to show how well the final results of each subject. Based on the results, it is shown that there is a significant difference of students’ ability of writing poetry before and after using Imaginative Suggestion method With Visual-Audio Media, it is proven by calculation with t-test obtained t arithmetic is 2.68 and t table price t 0,05 ie 2.04. it shows that t count (2.68)> t table (2.04). The first result is, the three names of villages found in Bojong are categorized into three aspects of toponymy, namely the physical, social and cultural aspects. Secondly, there are cultural values in the stories of the three village names based on beliefs, social or individual interactions in groups and cultural values that relate to people's occupation from the past to the present. The method used in the research is experiment. Data collection techniques are carried out by tests, observations, and questionnaires. After posttest data analysis shows the value of sig (2-tailed) of 0.007 or 0.0035, meaning the value of sig (0.007) <a (0.05) H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, at a significance level of 5% the average posttest score the experiment was 79.35 and the control class was 70.97. This means that the ability to write short stories of experimental class students who use the problem based learning model with visual media is better than the control class that uses the inquiry model with visual media. This study concludes that the students’diction ability is 78 (it can be categorized as good). In terms of diction aspects, formal aspect has very good criteria, synonymy has good criteria, and polysemy has sufficient criteria.
