The research method consists of three (3) stages. Stage 1) Using CED method to know the correlation between the risks and their causes. Stage 2) Making an assessment by using Analytic Network Process (ANP) with Software Matlab, stage 3) Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) is used to get the model of connectivity in mitigation of occupational accident. From ANP method, it is clear that the dominant potential risk in structural phase is 44% and the highest cause of accident by human factor is 77%, and it is due to the unsafe behavior. ISM method is used to know the mitigation in reducing the occupational accident risks, namely improvement of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management, Each Scaffolding establishment must be inspected by a certified expert, the working methods must obey the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), The risk control should be done in relation to potential cause of occupational accident which can minimize the risk on construction work ( zero accident ).","PeriodicalId":31715,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Engineering and Management in Industrial System","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48861393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in provision power and steam with the coal. On determining amount of the current inventory of coal in PT XYZ still fluctuating from storage capacity, so it is necessary to study the planning and controlling inventory of coal with consider of storage capacity. This study aims to optimize the amount of the coal fuel, determine reorder point, determine safety stock and determine total cost of inventory using inventory probabilistik Q model backorder storage capacity constrain. Data processing results obtained optimal order for each the coal is as much as 11.000 tons, Reorder point is as much as 607,346 tons, safety stock is as much as 1,292 tons and total cost of inventory is as much as Rp. 16.052.531.575 using inventory probabilistik Q model backorder storage capacity constrain.","PeriodicalId":31715,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Engineering and Management in Industrial System","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42378839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing the defense and security products for military and commercial, which consists of 20% of military products and 80% of commercial products. This study aims to determine the performance assessment of the curving machine operator s in PT.XYZ. Previously, t he system of operator's performance assessment has an incomplete criterion that is less likely to reflect actual operator performance and the absence of reference data for annual bonus sharing. To get an accurate operator performance , then conducted an assessment based on the Spencer competency owned by each operator. The dimensions of this assessment are based on objective and subjective judgments. Research data were collected by observation and filling out the questionnaire . Then , data were analyzed using E xpert Choice software. The method of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was chosen in accordance with the research problems and objectives. After obtaining the final result of weight of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the next performance assessment was done by integration with Rating Scale method. The results show that there is a difference in the measurement of performance evaluation of the prior and new method , this is due to additionalcriteria taken into the new assessment, including absenteeism (presence), quantity of work, work quality, work safety, teamwork, and so forth .","PeriodicalId":31715,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Engineering and Management in Industrial System","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47345649","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Precedence Diagram Method is the method used to create network planning especially project scheduling. This research will examine how to plan the proper project scheduling of Pressure Vessel project of PT Wika Technip which is done by PT. Barata Indonesia by using PDM.The results obtained from the cost calculation at 252 days of project life have total project cost of Rp.6.131.093.885,00 and at project age 243 days total project cost is Rp.6.236.994.056,00. It can be applied by companies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business processes . Developing a continual improvement and abandon the conventional ways will increase the work efficiency. The process can be transformed to create a more efficient process with value-added and get more benefit to the company in the future. In this study, the evaluation of quality reporting process was conducted by BPR approach. The re-design and reconstruction of the process with information technology implementation give a significant improvement in the work efficiency, both efficiency value, step number, and time efficiency.","PeriodicalId":31715,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Engineering and Management in Industrial System","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45665687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
