{"title":"Из наблюдений над семантикой имперфективного будущего в среднерусской письменности","authors":"Яна Андреевна Пенькова","doi":"10.31168/0459-6.10","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31168/0459-6.10","url":null,"abstract":"The present paper investigates differences between the semantic types of predicates which occurred in the constructions with the auxiliaries budu and stanu in Middle Russian. The data for the research was collected using the Middle Russian part of the Russian National Corpus. The examples in the final dataset were classi fied according to the date, source, and semantic type of the verb used in the constructions in question. The study has shown that states were more likely to co-occur with the auxiliary budu, whereas accomplishments denoting the accumulation of effect — with the auxiliary stanu. Such differences between budu and stanu show that budu was not a simple “foreign” replacement for stanu but penetrated the verb system through a separate set of contexts not related to expressing inchoative meaning.","PeriodicalId":316954,"journal":{"name":"Межкультурное и межъязыковое взаимодействие в пространстве Славии (к 110-летию со дня рождения С. Bernstein in the revival of Russian Slavic studies in the second half of the XX century. The author relies on the memoirs of scientists of the Institute of Slavic Studies and Moscow University and on the materials of the book of memoirs of S. Bernstein “Zigzags of Memory” (2002). The name “Zigzags of memory” correlates not only with the memories of the scientist, but also with the zigzags of the history of Russian Slavic science. The author traces the path of Slavic science in the Soviet period, which was thorny due to the well-known persecution of slavistics in the 20–30 years of the XX century. In the middle of the XX century, prof. S. B. Bernstein became the organizer of the revival of the entire Slavic branch. The role of the scientist in the organization of the Slavic department of Moscow State University and the training of slavists, in the work of the Institute of Slavic Studies, in the development of a number of significant science areas is shown: slavic dialectology and linguogeography, comparative historical grammar of slavic languages, ethnolinguistics and slavic antiquities, Cyril and Methodius problems, etc.","PeriodicalId":316954,"journal":{"name":"Межкультурное и межъязыковое взаимодействие в пространстве Славии (к 110-летию со дня рождения С. Плотникова","doi":"10.31168/0459-6.32","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31168/0459-6.32","url":null,"abstract":"The report will focus on the Carpathian analogies to the ideas known among the Slavs in the Balkans that a storm, thunderstorm, hail, strong wind is caused by a dragon snakeflying in the clouds. Carpathian parallels to this plot are found both among Slavs (Slovaks, Ukrainians) and their neighbors (Romanians, Hungarians). The specifics of the Carpathian cultural area are linked with a number of features that, if found in the Balkans, then only in the northern parts of Slavic regions bordering Hungary and Romania and these are mostly beliefs about the leader who saddles the blind snake-dragon, carrying hail to people. On the contrary, in the Carpathian traditions, there is practically no theme of heroism of the positive defender of fields and lands that is so characteristic for the Eastern Serbian, Macedonian, Montenegrin and Eastern Hercegovinian beliefs.
