Thus, this study examines the relationship between behavioral biases and investment decisions and the moderating role of “financial literacy on investment decisions.” Using a predeveloped questionnaire, we collected 419 responses by focusing on the respondents who trade extensively in the foreign exchange market. The data analysis includes descriptive analysis, correlation, reliability, validity, and hypotheses testing using Smart PLS. The study found herding bias, overconfidence, and representativeness significantly affect the investment decision. Risk tolerance insignificantly affects investment decisions. We also found that financial literacy has a moderating effect on investment decisions. The study recommends that policymakers arrange seminars and workshops for investors on financial literacy. Such measures may reduce the investors’ decisions based on behavioral biases.","PeriodicalId":31666,"journal":{"name":"Market Forces","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135395901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, the fast food sector has also transformed to attract and retain online food customers. Thus this study, by extending TRA and TAM model, investigates the impact of “perceived usefulness, online trust, time-saving orientation, purchase orientation” on attitudes toward online food purchase intention. It also examines the impact of attitudes and purchase intention and the mediating role of attitudes. Based on the data set of the five leading universities of Karachi, the study found that “perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, time[1]saving orientation, and perceived saving orientation” significantly affect attitudes toward online food purchasing. The study also found a significant association between attitudes and online food purchase intention. However, we did not find any support for the association between trust and online purchase intention. Our study supported all the mediating effects except the mediating effect of attitudes on trust and online food purchase intention.","PeriodicalId":31666,"journal":{"name":"Market Forces","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48514480","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, we sample 21 developed countries ranging from 2000-2018 from the Pacific Region, Northern Europe, Western Europe, Southern Europe, and G7, with each region consisting of a panel with one home country and other as remaining countries portfolio. We applied Panel co-integration and VECM to test the stock market integration and diversification opportunities in short and long run. Our results indicate few short and long-run diversification opportunities for international investors in the post-crisis period that are more relevant. Canada, Japan, and Italy have long-run opportunities for diversification in the G7, and only Japan has short-run opportunities for diversification. Hong Kong and Japan have short-and long-run opportunities for diversification in the Pacific region. In the Northern Europe region, we have only the short-run diversification option of the UK and Norway. In the Western European Region, Australia and Switzerland have long-term diversification. There are no long and short-run diversification opportunities in the Southern European Region in the post-crisis period.","PeriodicalId":31666,"journal":{"name":"Market Forces","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43451443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study followed Pollock and Berge's (2018) six-stage methods of the systematic review to achieve the aims. Bibliometric and content analysis was conducted using 48 articles collected from six databases: Science Direct, Emerald Insight, Wiley online Library, Sage Pub, Springer Link, and Taylor & Francis. The content analysis reveals three major categories of the antecedent: advert attributes, personal factors, and environmental factors that affect mobile advertising value, attitude, and acceptance. The differences in the factors leading to mobile advertising acceptance are observed across different age groups, regions, advertising types, and cultures. The study concludes with theoretical implications and future research directions. The study highlights some of the regions and mobile advertising contexts where further research is needed. These consolidated findings are useful for advertisers in planning future mobile advertising campaigns. In this study, an innovative channel, Risk Channel, is introduced to measure its impact on the monetary policy transmission mechanism by covering the annual time data from 1995 to 2020for Pakistan. This paper aims to examine the long-run and the short-run relationship between foreign debt, bank capital, and monetary policy transmission mechanism. To fulfill this objective, we intended to use Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to investigate long-run and short-run relations. As per the result, the risk channel represents that it is not following the cointegration benchmark. The coefficient is negative, but the probability is more significant than 0.05, which is statistically insignificant; therefore, there is no long-run relationship between the model variables. The interest rate channel represents that it ensures the benchmark of cointegration as the coefficient is negative, but the probability is less than 0.05, which is statistically significant; therefore, there is a long-run relationship between variables for the model. The credit channel represents that it ensures the cointegration benchmark as the coefficient is negative and statistically significant at 90%; therefore, there is a long-run relationship between variables for the model. However, the study concluded that risk channel has short-term relation and interest rate& credit channels have short-term and long-term relationships.","PeriodicalId":31666,"journal":{"name":"Market Forces","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42760443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this explanatory research, a model is developed to validate the premise that by drafting value creating supplier relationship in order to help and implement strategies in supply chain management in manufacturing and non-manufacturing companies which will increase the buyer’s dependency of the suppliers. The study used data from atleast 228 procurement personnel from various industries. The results show that early supplier involvement, partnership quality, supplier performance have a significant and positive impact on buyer’s dependence. Whereas, uncertainty has also a positive but insignificant relationship with buyer dependence. To increase buyer dependency suppliers should be involved in early stage of the design and production of the product. Partnership quality and supplier performance also have significant impact on buyer dependence so management should consider the factors.","PeriodicalId":31666,"journal":{"name":"Market Forces","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42749655","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, they spend considerable resources on advertising mediums, including billboard advertising, apart from other strategies. Given its importance, we have developed a new model that examines the effect of attitudes, perception, brand motives on consumer attention. The study has also examined the effect of tagline ambiguity on consumers' attention and the moderating role of brand image. The study has collected the data from the e leading private business institutes of Karachi, as they are more familiar with the terminologies used in the study. The selected target would reduce variances in the self-administered questionnaire. The study found that consumer attitude is a significant antecedent of consumer attention. And consumers' attitudes, perceptions, and brand motives significantly affect tagline ambiguity. The study has several implications for marketers and practitioners. Deliberate ambiguity significantly affects consumer attention. It promotes cognitive thinking, brand recall, and brand recognition. This allows firms the flexibility of changing value proposition. Many firms have successfully used ambiguity in their taglines. For example, Volkwagen'slogan \"Somewhere between tuxedo and birthday suit.\" This slogan does not communicate anything definite about the products but forces the consumers to form an association. The study has focused on the private business students in Karachi. We recommend others extend this model to other cities and countries. We did not use control variables in this study, which future researchers can incorporate in their studies.","PeriodicalId":31666,"journal":{"name":"Market Forces","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43620070","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While using s qualitative case study method, this research has analyzed the available framework to achieve sustainability in the supply chain. Data Triangulation was used, and data were extracted from Telecom company’s documentation, on-site observation & semi-structured interviews. This paper proposes a strategic framework for developing sustainability in the supply chain of telecom companies. The framework provides the step-by-step implementation of all dimensions of sustainability upstream of a supply chain. The developed framework can be used as a roadmap by the Telecom sector to make their Supply Chain more Sustainable. The research focuses on the upstream supply chain, and the findings argue that telecom supply chains can only use the proposed framework upstream to achieve sustainability.","PeriodicalId":31666,"journal":{"name":"Market Forces","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70541459","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Given its importance, we have developed a model with four direct and two indirect hypotheses. We developed a questionnaire based on the past studies, containing five variables and 27 indicator variables. We collected a sample of 433 responses from the private banks of Karachi non-randomly. For statistical analysis, we used the Smart PLS software. The study tested four direct and two indirect hypotheses, and we failed to reject all of them. We found that work-life balance promotes job satisfaction and psychological well-being. And job satisfaction and psychological well-being are precursors of job performance. Psychological well-being mediates work-life balance and job performance. At the same time, we found that intrinsic motivation moderates psychological well-being, work-life balance, and psychological well-being. Apart from other implications, we suggest that organizations develop policies on work-life balance, as it affects organizational performance and psychological well-being. Such policies may increase costs significantly. Thus, while developing such policies, organizations must also examine their sustainability and growth.","PeriodicalId":31666,"journal":{"name":"Market Forces","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42572260","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
