Four countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, are in a sub-region where child sex tourism occurs a lot. The phenomenon of transnational borders will involve sending country as the country of traveling child sex offenders, and receiving country for victims coordinates to make serious law enforcement regarding this issue. In formulating foreign policy, domestic factors are one way of looking at why Australia provides funding, assistance, and initiate international cooperation to combat child sex tourism in GMS. Through this research, the authors will explain the domestic factors that influence Australia in initiating Project Childhood as its foreign policy, using domestic determinants as the level of analysis. Then, it will be divided into 3 sub-determinants, they are; highly stable, demonstrating an Australian responsibility for TCSO originating in the country. This is related to one of the demographic components that cause migration problems. Moderately stable, in relation to the domestic reforms that are actively being carried out in the context of enforcing the extraterritoriality. This study aims to understand what foreign policy will look like in the next presidential term. To discuss the topic of efforts to answer the problems of this study, this study obtained data from many reading sources such as international publications in the form of books, articles, reports, and newspapers. The collected data is then reviewed carefully, which involves a data coding system, sharp analysis, in-depth evaluation, and high interpretation so that we can conclude research answers with high validity and reality principles. Based on the data presentation and discussion, it can be concluded that Indonesia's foreign policy after Mr. Jokowi's tenure is a series of visions that describe how Indonesia interacts with foreign countries that regulate bilateral cooperation with the principle of free and active political economy.Another issue that Indonesia can predict is still being done, as stated in the country's constitution. In other words, there is no significant difference. Government have taken measures that limit access to the tourist attraction during the pandemic, however this action caused the income of people who depend on the tourism sector was drop drastically. Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) is a development approach from community and focuses on the potential and strengths of the community. The ABCD approach has been considered more capable of realizing a sustainable community, compared to the traditional need-based approach. This study aims to describe the community's strategy in managing assets in the Pulau Untung Jawa Tourism Village by using a qualitative approach that generate descriptive data. The results showed that the Untung Jawa Island Tourism Village Community has been able to maintain the survival of its community by maximizing the assets owned by the community independently and maintaining relationships between the community and all stakeholders who are connected to each other. {"title":"An Interview Study of Social and Psychological Effects Upon Students in Malaysia and England","authors":"Muhammad Nadzif Bin Ramlan","doi":"10.24269/ars.v10i2.4124","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24269/ars.v10i2.4124","url":null,"abstract":"This study aims to explore the psychological and social effects of social media upon students at higher learning institutions in Malaysia and The United Kingdom.The study is done via qualitative approach as this study focuses on a case study to acquire unique experience by the participants.Three students are from Malaysia with and the remaining two are from England with different educational degree backgrounds.The participants mention the effects, the factors causing them and the suggestions to avoid or reduce the impacts.The finding elucidates the positive psychological effects include stimulating their study and relieving stress whereas the adverse impacts are procrastination, addiction and low self-esteem.The positive social effects mentioned by participants are student-student bonding as well as sharing of beneficial contents.The negative social effects are misinformation, cyberbullying, morality issues including pornography and cybercrimes, and poor physical interactions. To discuss authority in chaotic circumstances, it needs political ethics, in which every political action requires legitimacy based on values, norms, and laws. The discussion on political ethics is related to law and state power. The role of law is as a normative community institution, while power takes a role as an effective community organizing institution. The questions in this research are how do political ethics take a role in creating a modern democratic state?And what is the form of political ethics in the human political dimension? The research method used is a literature study approach. This study concludes that the human political dimension is a dimension of society as a whole. In terms of political ethics, the human political dimension can be studied in three cases. Those are humans as social beings, humans with their social dimensions, and the political dimensions of human life. Democracy is understood that state power is in the hands of the people. Thus, the people have the freedom to speak up their opinion in public. Power is needed to determine that humans obey the norms in the law.
