Writer takes this research object because Diesel Engine Generator is one of the critical asset with intention of understand preventive maintenance procedural steps, frequent faults occur during electrical generation system. Writer takes this analysis based on operational history from least one year occured fault auxiliary system frequently. Such as current transformer and magnetic pick-up which involving a process shutdown and loss electrical power causes less contribution on Tunu South Production Platform. Tahap-tahap dalam merancang alat pembersih ini yang pertama adalah pengamatan dari proses pembersihan manual dan ditemukan kekurangan dari pengerjaan tersebut. Kemudian perancangan alat pembersih yang lebih baik dari yang sudah ada. Tahap selanjutnya adalah perencanaan, perhitungan dan penggambaran untuk menentukan komponen-komponen yang digunakan. Tahap terakhir adalah produksi, pangecetan dan perakitan. Dari hasil perencanaan dan perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa alat pembersih pasir silika ini mampu membersihkan 30 Kg/4,25 menit atau 425Kg/Jam. Andra Al-Fandi","doi":"10.31963/sinergi.v17i2.2082","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31963/sinergi.v17i2.2082","url":null,"abstract":"This study aims to analyze the effect of the stirrer model, stirring rotation (400, 500, 600 rpm), for 20 seconds, and pouring temperature (565, 570, and 5750C) on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the aluminum alloy ADC12. The methods of research are a) preparing material aluminum alloy ADC12, b) making molds, c) casting, d) making specimens for testing, e) micro structure testing and hardness testing, f) analyzing data using Microsoft excel applications. Results of the study show that the smallest grain size occurs in casting parameters: stirrer angle 00, 600 rpm rotation, and pouring temperature 5650C with a value of 27.715 µm. The biggest shape factor occurs in casting parameters: stirrer angle 00, rotation 600 rpm, and pouring temperature 5650C with a value 0.76. The research procedure included temperature data (750oC, 800oC, 850oC) and smelting time for 120 minutes. Hardness testing procedure is carried out to get the hardness value from some casting result areas. Microstructure is characterized by a comparison of the grain size of the metal that has undergone casting, to measure the grain size in this study using the image J program. The highest hardness value shows the melting temperature of 800oC with a temperature holding time of 120 minutes of 63.8HB. The longer the temperature holding time, the hardness value will increase. The workforce consists of educated and trained people. One of the educated people referred to is the D-IV and DP-III graduates of the Makassar Shipping Polytechnic, because one of the fillers in the world of work is the Polytechnic graduate. The learning process while in the laboratory must be a serious concern in order to get qualified prospective workers, especially understanding about the application of occupational safety and health (K3) especially the use of personal protective equipment so that there are no direct or indirect obstacles in the work, such as work accidents occur, damage to machinery, cessation of production processes, environmental damage and expenses related to work accidents. The purpose of this research is to find out the availability and analyze the application of personal protective equipment to occupational safety and health in the workshop. This research includes the type of survey research with quantitative methods. This design seeks to determine the PPE facilities available at the Workshop, symbols / cues about occupational safety and health, the conditions of the practice room and what percentage of PPE use by cadets during practice. The data collection method is done by using a questionnaire and documentation used to determine PPE facilities available in the Workshop, symbols / cues about occupational safety and health, the conditions of the practice room and what percentage of the use of PPE cadets during practice. Pada dasarnya kualitas telur tidak dapat bertahan lama karena adanya faktor lingkungan ataupun pada telur itu sendiri. Untuk mempertahankannya kualitas telur bebek dapat dilakukan pengawetan dengan cara diasinkan. Pengawetan dapat dilakukan secara manual tetapi membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk proses pengasinan. Untuk mempersingkat waktu, proses pengasinan dapat dilakukan selama empat hari dengan menggunakan alat pembuat telur asin yang hanya memerlukan larutan garam dan dapat memvariasikan tingkat keasinan tergantung kadar garam, jumlah telur dan waktu yang diberikan. Proses pengasinan selama empat hari menggunakan tekanan udara yang mempercepat larutan garam masuk kedalam pori-pori telur bebek. Tekanan udara yang diberikan dapat masuk kedalam telur bebek melalui pori-pori telur sehingga udara yang masuk menjadi berkurang.
