Besar variasi penggunaan arus las adalah 60, 80 dan 100 ampere. Penelitian ini dilakuakn dengan membuat pengujian specimen dengan variasi arus las sebesar 60 ampere, 80 ampere dan 100 ampere yang kemudian dilakukan pengujian tarik dan kekerasan dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh yang diakibatkan oleh variasi arus terhadap tegangan tarik, kekuatan dan kekerasan sambungan las. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi arus pengelasan kekuatan tarik semakin meningkat. Kekuatan tarik terendah pada arus 60 ampere, yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 59,58 kg/mm2, sedangkan kekuatan tarik tertinggi pada arus 100 ampere, yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 63,03 kg/mm2. Pada daerah lasan, nilai kekerasan tertinggi diperoleh pada sampel 60 Ampere, yaitu sebesar 91,83 HRB dan nilai kekerasan terendah pada sampel 100 Ampere, yaitu sebesar 89,23 HRB. The research was conducted by making two gates (gate-1 and gate-2) which will open or close based on the water level of the dam. Gate-1 and gate-2 will close if the water level of the dam does not exceed the limit for immediate reduction. The test was carried out with variations in the conditions of water entering the dam, namely calm water conditions, heavy water conditions, and low water conditions. From the tests carried out, it was found that gate-1 always opens when the water level reaches 8 cm or more, while gate-2 opens when the water level starts to reach 11 cm. A number of ways have been done to meet electricity needs, one way is by using various alternative energy sources. These alternative energy sources include: Water, Wind, and Solar. But water is a cheap and relatively easy source of energy. So we need a tool that is used to convert the water energy into electrical energy, one of which is a turbine. This turbine will utilize the energy of fluid flow into mechanical energy, which will then be converted into electrical energy. In this study, we designed a turgo turbine model using a stainless steel spoon as the blade. By varying the number of blades and the angle of inclination of the nozzle. The methods used are literature studies, design methods, manufacturing methods, testing methods, and data analysis methods. Based on the test results, the 15 blade variation has an average efficiency of 3.65%. For the variation of the 20 blade has an average efficiency of 4.50%. And the 25 blade variation has an average efficiency of 4.90%. As for the variation of the 0° angle, the average efficiency is 2.84%. For the 15° angle variation the average efficiency is 4.80%. For the 25° angle variation the average efficiency is 5.45%. The oil reserves in Indonesia continue to decline, and a similar situation is occurring with coal reserves. Thus, a conventional and renewable energy source is needed that does not harm the environment, for example, solar energy. This research aims to harness solar energy that can still be converted into electrical energy, and it also aims to improve the power output of solar panels for better optimization. The research starts by planning the motor, battery capacity, and solar panel capacity. Field testing is conducted at Merdeka Field, Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic, and data is collected under two conditions: with the use of a sun tracker and without a sun tracker. The power output obtained from each solar panel is then calculated. Based on the research results, the testing using a sun tracker yielded a power output of 17,857 Watts with a horizontal position of 47° Northeast and a vertical position of 15° at 11:30 AM WITA (Central Indonesia Time). Pengelolaan air melibatkan penyediaan air sesuai dengan kebutuhan nyata dan tanpa membuang-buang air. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk mengukur laju dan volume aliran air. Sistem monitoring distribusi air (flow sensor) konvensional menuju ke pelanggan dengan mencatat penggunaan melalui metering yang ada di sisi pelanggan secara manual. Sistem pengukuran debet air (metering) secara konvensional perlu menyediakan tenaga pencatat meter ke tiap pelanggan. Pencatatan secara manual ini sering dikeluhkan dari sisi akurasi akibat kehadiran petugas yang tidak konsisten. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sistem berbasis web dengan alat meter berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Alat meter ini menggunakan modul ESP8266 yang akan mencatat penggunaan air secara otomatis tanpa diperlukan petugas pencatat meter. Selanjutnya dari modul ESP8266 ini akan mengirimkan sinyal hasil pencatatan melalui transmisi data menuju cloud server (Blynk IoT). The solution given as a form of water hammer protection is variations in the height of the surge tower in piping installations. The aim of this research is to identify the phenomenon of water hammer in piping installations with different pump discharges and the effect of the height of the surge tower as a damper against pressure fluctuations that occur. The test is carried out by closing the valve suddenly and varying the height of the surge tower to determine the pressure value that occurs due to the water hammer effect. From the experimental test results, it can be seen that a surge tower with a height of 1 meter can best dampen back pressure due to the water hammer effect at a discharge of 2.4 m3/h. The theoretical and experimental analysis shows that the addition of a surge tower can reduce the pressure due to the water hammer effect. The pressure drop is 2.6 kg/cm2 to 2.2 kg/cm2 in pump installation 1 and the pressure drop is from 4.6 kg/cm2 to 1.8 kg/cm2 in pump installation 2. Layered structural composites provide nearly uniform properties on all sides. The purpose of this study was to determine the mechanical properties of tensile, compressive and impact on the behavior of bamboo fiber polymer composites with a layered structure. This research method is experimental where the specimens are made in 2 quasine isotropic configuration configurations namely [+60/0/-60] and [+45/0/-45] with layer thicknesses of 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, respectively. and 2.0mm. The highest tensile strength is 8.173 N/mm2 in the [+60/0/-60] arrangement and the lowest is 6.196 N/mm2 in the [+45/0/-45] arrangement. The highest impact strength is 34.259 kJ/mm2 in the [+45/0/-45] array configuration and the lowest tensile strength is 10.775 kJ/mm2 in the [+60/0/-60] array configuration. The highest compressive strength is 15.856 N/mm2 in the configuration [+60/0/-60] arrangement and the lowest compressive strength is N/mm2 in the configuration [+45/0/-45]. The [+60/0/-60] array configuration has better mechanical properties than the [+45/0/-45] configuration. Most farmers in Indonesia still use traditional/conventional methods in the grain drying process. However, for large-scale farmers this is certainly a difficult task for mixing grain. For this reason, a system is needed that can stir grain automatically so that farmers do not need to come directly to the drying area. In this study, a grain mixer robot was applied using energy from the sun, and can be controlled remotely. This robot uses solar panels to convert solar energy into electrical energy. This electrical energy is then stored in the battery. This energy will also be used to drive the robot to stir the grain. To move the robot, the user can adjust its direction and speed through an application on a smartphone. Sebagian besar peternak di Indonesia masih menggunakan cara tradisional/ konvensional dalam beternak. Bagi peternak berskala besar hal tersebut tentunya menjadi tugas yang sulit untuk menjaga hewan ternak sepanjang waktu. Pemberian pakan, minum, desinfektan, dan pembersih kotoran masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga menyita banyak tenaga dari para peternak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodifikasi sistem kandang ayam cerdas sebelumnya agar dapat memberikan pakan, minum, disinfektan, dan pembersih kotoran secara otomatis sehingga peternak tidak perlu datang ke kandang secara langsung. Sistem tersebut memerlukan komponen-komponen yang menggunakan sumber daya listrik yang besar sehingga penggunaan Solar Panel (Tenaga Surya) sebagai sumber daya listrik dapat menghemat penggunaan listrik pada alat kontrol yang dibuat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Solar System sebagai sumber daya listrik utama pada kandang ayam cerdas yang dibuat berhasil diaplikasikan untuk menyalakan serta menjalankan semua aktivitas yang telah dijadwalkan pada alat. Mekanisme pembersih kotoran kandang yang telah dibuat dapat bekerja sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah ditentukan.
