Based on the data from Chinese listed firms over the 2009-2019 period, we empirically find that firms with a higher CSR behaviour present a larger degree of cost stickiness. Our findings extend the research of cost stickiness by analyzing it based on CSR and social goals, and provide a new theoretical perspective and empirically support for the subsequent study of cost stickiness.","PeriodicalId":315518,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 3rd International Conference on Management Science and Industrial Engineering","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130421886","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Predicting the housing prices will be the focus of the study especially during the CoVid-19 pandemic. As the Consumer Price Index (CPI in the Philippines increased to 123.40 points in September from 123.30 points in August of 2020 [8]. The researcher will use Hedonic Regression Model techniques for analyzing its statistical technique for investigating and modeling the relationship between variables that will be applied in the study. In the data collection, the regression analysis will be the basis for collecting the data such as its historical data, observational study, and design experiment of housing prices before the CoVid19 pandemic came in the Philippines. The results and conclusion of the different machine algorithms will be used showing that regression analysis is the best technique for prediction of prices for housing in the Philippines during the Pandemic. The study will apply parameters that can calculate house valuations within Metro Manila.","PeriodicalId":315518,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 3rd International Conference on Management Science and Industrial Engineering","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114831021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Synchronized Monitoring Analysis Recording Care (SMARC) is adopted by this study to assess the ability and quality of the participant's functional movement capability. Following the prescriptions issued by field experts after assessment, participants who regularly perform exercises on the SMARC machines can improve his/her functional movement capabilities. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the SMARC system in improving people's functional movement capacity. We conduct an experiment lasting for three months on a total of 13 participants. The results show that exercises based on prescriptions generated from SMARC evaluation can significantly improve participants’ all five functional movement capacities. In addition, the effectiveness of SMARC system in the health improvement of functional movement capability is significantly influenced by the body condition, gender, and whether regularly exercised of the participant, but not BMI level of the participants.","PeriodicalId":315518,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2021 3rd International Conference on Management Science and Industrial Engineering","volume":"80 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125994743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
