Abstract: This article originates in the research on Festival de Musica Andina Colombiana Mono Nunez (FMN), funded and carried out by Cayer (2010) and Cobo (2010) with the contribution of Centro de Documentacion Musical de Ginebra and Fundacion Canto por la Vida. The topic of aboriginal expressions within the festival is widened and discussed here, based on the ethnographic work in interviews with the groups that participated in the XVI Conference “Octavio Marulanda Morales” of Aboriginal Expressions (EOMEA), which took place within the XXVII Festival Mono Nunez in 2010. O estudo tera como foco a questao da alteridade, ou seja, a afirmacao de si a partir da construcao do seu outro, no caso, o comunismo, atraves do estudo da producao de sentido presente nas imagens e textos a elas associados veiculados em periodicos de grande circulacao no Brasil no periodo em questao. Palavras chave : americanismo; comunismo; alteridade; visualidade Resumen: Este articulo analiza el esfuerzo del americanismo de consolidarse como un paradigma cultural y visual en Brasil en la posguerra. El estudio se enfocara en el tema de la otredad, es decir, en la autoafirmacion a partir de la construccion de su otro, en este caso el comunismo a partir de la produccion de significado en las imagenes y los textos asociados a ellos que aparecieron en los principales medios de prensa de Brasil al terminar la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Se destacan el proceso de migracion campo-ciudad, el dominio del tiempo de la naturaleza producto de su origen campesino, el alto nivel de trabajo y sobre-trabajo que desarrollaron las sociedades campesinas en el pais, la capacidad para habitar un territorio cultural de frontera de clase y el traspaso de la autoridad de los padres a los patrones. Aspectos que seran examinados a continuacion. Palabras clave: empleadas de servicio domestico, migracion campo-ciudad, relaciones familiares. Resumo: Este artigo desenvolve aspectos chaves para compreender porque houve tantas mulheres trabalhando como empregadas domesticas tanto como o modo como elas faziam esse oficio e o valor desse trabalho em Bogota dos anos de 1950 a 1980. Destacam-se como fenomenos cruciais o processo de migracao rural-urbano, a importância do tempo da natureza como modo de temporalidade originado na infância camponesa de estas mulheres, enorme capacidade de trabalho e sobre-trabalho caracteristico de sociedades rurais, a capacidade para habitar um territorio cultural de fronteira de classe e o traspasso da autoridade dos pais aos patroes. Abstract: This article briefly shows key aspects as to understand why were there so many maids and the worth this work had in the 1950’s to 1980’s Bogota. There are some distinguished aspects which are about to be examined. Urbanization process, nature time hegemony due to rural childhood, over-working high level of peasant societies, the capacity to inhabit a frontier class place and the parent’s authority transferred to the house keeper and his husband, are some of the aspects considered. Intentaremos ver cuales son los mitos que construyeron de sus vivencias y cual es la realidad que subyace en ellos. Cabe aclarar que en este texto, cuando se habla del mito, se hace referencia a la imagen que se construyo del conquistador como “hombre excepcional e iniciador de la civilizacion en la America espanola” retomando la propuesta del historiador norteamericano Mathew Restall . Tambien veremos como en la construccion de ciertos relatos biograficos se contrasta la imagen del hombre excepcional, del heroe fundador, con la del villano, suma de todas las miserias humanas. Abstract: With this article, product of the research about one of the earliest chronicles in the New Kingdom of Granada, written between 1550 and 1580, we will approach the thought of two Franciscan chronicle writers by means of the analysis of chronicle narration. We will try to see which myths were built on their experiences and what the reality that underlies them is. It is important to make it clear that when we talk about myth, we are referring to the image of the conqueror as an “exceptional man and inceptor of civilization in Spanish America,” following the proposal of the North American historian Mathew Restall. We will also see how in the construction of certain biographical accounts the image of an exceptional man, of the founder hero, is contrasted with that of the villain, summon of all human misery. El examen de estos tres conceptos se centra en su etapa juvenil - 1869 - 1874 - y en sus teorias fundamentales del periodo de madurez, tales como el perspectivismo y la voluntad de poder. Uno de los propositos sistematicos del ensayo es la consideracion critica de la tesis de Martin Heidegger, segun la cual Nietzsche no supera la tradicion metafisica de Occidente. En la primera parte, se realiza un trabajo de interpretacion acerca de “la indigencia” que, segun Walter Benjamin, tiene dos expresiones: el estado de excepcion de las tendencias totalitarias de la politica moderna en el siglo XX y la experiencia subjetiva del “hastio”. Luego, se plantea el punto de fuga de la indigencia segun Benjamin, configurado por unos quehaceres eticos y politicos, como el relacionado con el trabajo de recuperacion de lecciones ejemplares. En la segunda parte, se ilustra con una leccion ejemplar con la historia de vida de Don Josue Vargas Mateus, fundador de la Asociacion de Trabajadores Campesinos del Carare. Merchán","doi":"10.26564/16926250.228","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26564/16926250.228","url":null,"abstract":"Resumen: Para algunos teoricos que se ocupan de los asuntos etico-medioambientales, como Singer y Taylor, la propuesta de “reencantamiento de la naturaleza” no parece ser una condicion sine qua non para el desarrollo de un principio etico que sirva de fundamento a una etica del medioambiente. En otras palabras, es posible defender una etica del respeto a la naturaleza sin necesidad de sacralizar el mundo natural. El objetivo del presente articulo es examinar, entonces, la validez de la tesis de la ecologia profunda que sostiene precisamente lo contrario. Segun Capra, uno de sus mas destacados defensores, la nueva ecologia se debe convertir en una forma de religion que siga los pasos de las grandes tradiciones espirituales del mundo. Mostrare que, lejos de resolver la cuestion del respeto a la vida, la propuesta de la ecologia profunda crea mas problemas de los que resuelve, al no permitir una defensa coherente de los valores medioambientales que ella dice defender, pues no es posible afirmar que los ecosistemas tengan derechos sobre la base de que la vida, en general, es un proceso mental o espiritual. Insistir en el caracter sacro de la vida tendria como consecuencia indeseada para la ecologia profunda, una defensa dogmatica de su propuesta etica que impediria la revision historica de ciertos valores medioambientales a la luz del desarrollo tecnico-cientifico, y la recaida en una etica heteronoma, de corte religioso, que defiende ciertos valores de manera absoluta sin tener en cuenta la autonomia y los intereses de las personas. Palabras clave: E cologia profunda, naturaleza, respeto, biotecnologia, etica del medio ambiente, reencantamiento de la naturaleza Abstract: Following several authors who study ethical-environmental issues, such as Singer and Taylor, the proposal of the “re-enchantment with nature” does not seem to be a sine qua non condition for the development of an ethical principle that serves as a basis of an environmental ethics. That is to say, it is possible to defend an ethics of respect for nature without necessarily assuming the natural world as sacred. The aim of this article is, thus, to examine the validity of the deep ecology thesis which states precisely the opposite. According to Capra, one of its most outstanding defenders, new ecology must turn into a kind of religion that follows the traces of the big spiritual traditions. This article will show that, far from solving the issue of respect for life, the proposal of deep ecology creates more problems than those which it solves, as it does not permit the coherent defense of environmental values, which it says it defends, given that it is not possible to say that ecosystems have rights, on the basis that life, in general, is a mental or spiritual construct. Uno por su lado hizo la transicion del mito a la historia dando origen a la Historia y el otro, revoluciono la forma de estudiar el pasado y de hacer historia, fundando junto con Marc Bloch la revista Annales de historia economica y social. Asimismo plantea el concepto de contaminacion interior, apoyandose para eso en las teorias propuestas por la biologia evolutiva, especialmente por el etologo Richard Dawkins (1976). Se plantea como hipotesis que la ruptura del tejido social, la inconformidad humana y la infelicidad tipica del mundo actual, provienen de la mala gestion tanto de la basura cultural (en sus diversas formas y expresiones) como de la contaminacion interior que ella genera en los individuos. El autor analiza la modelacion que experimentan tanto ninos como los adolescentes en sus procesos de adaptacion a los entornos sociales y culturales, y muchos de los efectos indeseables (entropia) que dicho proceso genera. Se concluye que es necesario adquirir mayor conciencia en relacion a la basura cultural y la contaminacion interior, para gestionarlas de manera mas idonea, reduciendo asi los impactos negativos que ellas generan tanto en el individuo como en la sociedad. Abstract: The article analyzes the term trash culture, its conception, evolution and application by several experts throughout history. Furthermore, it brings in the idea of spiritual contamination based on evolutionary biology theories, especially those proposed by the ethologist Richard Dawkins (1976). The hypothesis pins down that the rupture of social innings, human discontent and the distinctive unhappiness of modern times come from the improper management of both trash culture (as in its many forms and expressions) and the spiritual contamination derived from it. Accordingly, the author examines the modeling processes that children and teenagers go through while adapting to their cultural and social surroundings, as well as many of the unwanted effects created in that course of action (entropy). As a conclusion, the article stresses our need to be more aware towards trash culture and spiritual contamination, in order to rightly manage them and reduce their negative effect in individuals and the society at large.
