The main problem in coastal and marine management is that beach reclamation and sand mining activities are likely to have an impact on the environment, especially marine ecosystems and coastal communities. The existing problem of sand mining and beach reclamation has had a negative impact on coastal ecosystems and communities around the coast. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) Coastal and Marine Management in a Case Study of the Impact of Beach Reclamation and Sand Mining on Marine Ecosystems and Coastal Communities. (2) Knowing the management efforts that can be carried out in minimizing the negative impacts of sand mining and beach reclamation activities. The research location was carried out in coastal areas in Indonesia through observations from case studies of previous journals. This observation was carried out from September 2021 to December 2021. The research methodology is based on previous literature studies. The type of research used in this research is Literary Study or Library Research. The data source comes from Google Scholar and the data collection method is a qualitative method in the form of literature review (document analysis). The results of this study indicate that the existence of an overview of environmental management in the presence of mine reclamation activities has an impact on the damage caused by reclamation. The problems of sand mining and beach reclamation have had a negative impact on coastal ecosystems and communities around the coast. It also contains efforts that can be made in overcoming and minimizing environmental problems.","PeriodicalId":31515,"journal":{"name":"Marine Fisheries Jurnal Teknologi dan Manajemen Perikanan Laut","volume":"49 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76158910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The color is white with slightly bluish shades. The advantage of the shrimp is that the meat is tender and delicious. High shrimp consumption and production produce a lot of waste. The waste is easily rotten, causing environmental pollution around the dump, especially bad environmental odors and aesthetics. One of the uses of shrimp shell waste that has prospects for development and has high economic value is Meatball fishery products. The purpose of this study was to determine the protein and calcium content in meatball products with the utilization of vaname shrimp shells, and to analyze organoleptic tests on meatballs. The method used in this study is the Complete Randomized Design (RAL) experimental method with 4 (four) treatments using different numbers of shrimp shells and 3 (three) repeats. A1: 0 grams. A2: 150 grams, A3: 200 grams and A4: 250 grams then perform protein tests and calcium tests and organoleptic tests using google forms. Data from fat, protein and calcium analysis results are carried out using the ANOVA RAL test, if there is a difference it is carried out with the Smallest Real Difference test. The results showed that the addition of vaname shrimp shells had no effect on the fat content of shrimp shell meatball products. While calcium has a significant influence. However, the lake also has high fishery potential, one of which is Singkarak Lake, Solok Regency. On the island of Sumatra, the first largest lake is Lake Toba, while the second is Lake Singkarak. On the one hand, there are several human activities around the lake that cause a decrease in the production of fish catches, such as fishermen who often catch fish with tools that are not environmentally friendly, are not selective and lead to overfishing. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to examine the potential for fish production in Lake Singkarak based on the value of chlorophyll-a and abundance of phytoplankton. The method used is a survey method. The data analysis process includes analysis of fish production potential on the value of chlorophyll-a and analysis of fish production potential on phytoplankton abundance. Based on the chlorophyll-a value, the estimated fish production potential in Singkarak Lake is 4,663 tons/year and based on the abundance of phytoplankton, the fish production potential is 21,852 tons/year.","PeriodicalId":31515,"journal":{"name":"Marine Fisheries Jurnal Teknologi dan Manajemen Perikanan Laut","volume":"21 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75032754","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research has been carried out by taking data in the form of primary data carried out from March 1, 2022 – April 30, 2022 and secondary data in the form of catch production data and fishing efforts (units) obtained from the Marine and Fisheries Service of Pangkep Regency for the 2016-2021 time period. The results of this study showed that the fishing gear used to catch crayfish (Panulirus spp) was a fixed gill net using a canoe boat as a tool. The process of catching crayfish includes setting, soaking and hauling. Coral fishing grounds are in rocky areas with the fishing season occurring from November to January. Based on the results of research using three surplus production models, it was concluded that the most suitable surplus production model for crayfish fisheries in Pangkep Regency is the Gulland model by showing a large (R2) and a small standard deviation. The maximum sustainable catch is 16,783.58 kg/year and the attempted catch is 12,496 units. The Utilization Rate (TP) and Capability Rate (TPU) have exceeded (yJTB) and (fJTB) with overexploited status.","PeriodicalId":31515,"journal":{"name":"Marine Fisheries Jurnal Teknologi dan Manajemen Perikanan Laut","volume":"346 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78295706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to determine the sustainability status of sunu grouper fish (P. leopardus) based on ecological, economic, social, fishing technology and law / institutional dimensions.  These five dimensions identify sensitive attributes/factors and provide strategic and policy recommendations in support of sustainability.
