These intellectual and cognitive faculties are essential to achieve goals or not during daily life. Objective: to identify the correlation between attention and memory neurocognitive skills, with the help of the NEUROPSI Neuropsychological Battery in patients attending \"AA\" rehabilitation centers. Methodology: This study is exploratory, non-experimental, observational, cross-sectional and correlational with a descriptive statistical analysis. Contribution: in the present study the following results were found: regarding Pearson's correlational analysis between attention and alcohol consumption, a moderate positive significance was found with r=.50, p=.52 and with a reliability of 0.01 which indicates that the greater the consumption of alcohol, the greater the alteration of the ability for attention and concentration. Objectives: To know the effect of hydrogen peroxide at 35% on dental microhardness. Methodology: Experimental, transversal, descriptive study. Using 50 teeth that were cut 1 mm below the amelocemental junction to create two vestibular and palatal faces. The teeth were lightened with 35% hydrogen peroxide to find out how much micro-hardness the enamel loses, the Vickers unit of measurement. The microhardness was measured after making 3 indentations in different surfaces of the enamel at a force of 50 grams and a time of 20 seconds with a diamond tip that left a trace observed under the microscope in the form of a pyramidal diamond; based on the vertical and horizontal diagonals, the Vickers microhardness was determined. At this stage, body awareness increases due to physical changes, society's importance to physical traits and the growing tendency to compare with cultural norms; in adolescents of both sexes there is the possibility of rapid increases in height and weight, but in women, these body changes are associated with a higher prevalence of overweight and obesity; At present, people's lifestyle has changed since bad eating habits, sedentary lifestyle and stress have dominated and physical activity has decreased. The objective of this work was to establish the relationship between the real BMI, risky eating behaviors and the perception of body image in students of a high school in the state of Yucatan. The study was cross-sectional; 212 students participated. Two thirds of the participants were perceived with a body that does not correspond to theirs. Oxidative stress originates when there is an uncontrolled production of free radicals that disrupts the balance between oxidants and antioxidants, favoring oxidants. It has been associated with oxidative stress with the pathogenesis of brain aging, cognitive impairment and some neurological diseases. The cells of the central nervous system produce a high amount of free radicals since their energy demand is high, this coupled with a low antioxidant capacity, favors the appearance of a pro-oxidant environment that contributes to neurodegeneration and neuronal death. Alzheimer's disease is the most frequent form of dementia, it is characterized by neurodegenerative changes that occur with cognitive impairment, progressive impairment of memory and thought, until preventing the performance of daily life activities. However, the bacterial species that the cell phones house and their potential risk have not been determined. We analized the cell phones of 30 first-year medical students who do not visit the hospital in their studies vs. 30 students who perform their clerkship practices in hospitals, to determine the differences in bacterial loads. Samples were taken by sterile swabs moistened with isotonic saline. McConkey and salt-mannitol agar were used as culture media. The biochemical tests used for identification of enterobacteria were citrate, MIO, LIA, urea and TSI. Degradation tests of mannitol, coagulase, catalase and oxidase were used for the identification of staphylococci. Likewise, smears and Gram staining of the isolated colonies were performed. Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomona sp. were mainly found. The SLC22A1 gene among different population groups, related to carnitine metabolism and acylcarnitine plasma levels associated with metabolic diseases. Objective: To evaluate the rs rs628031 variant in the SLC22A1 gene and its relationship with the metabolic syndrome in women from the state of Guerrero. Methodology: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 438 patients. Anthropometric and biochemical measurements were made. The rapid nonenzymatic technique was used for DNA extraction from leukocytes isolated from peripheral blood for genotyping PCR, using TaqMan probes. Objectives: To determine the relationship between working memory and the academic performance of medical students. Methodology: A cross-observational study, of a descriptive correlational type, was carried out. The design is retrospective-retrolective with a non-probabilistic sample for convenience with prior signature of informed consent with a total of 270 students of the UJED School of Medicine.
