The Multi pro air compressor model BC 150 DMBW 1.5 HP is placed in an enclosure made of wood board, and for absorbing material, use 6 cm thick polyurethane pyramid foam. A fan with a flow rate of 280 CMH is used as a cooling medium and will operate simultaneously with the compressor operation. Flow Air Delivery (FAD) of the compressor is 126 L/min. The Sound Pressure Level (SPL) value is determined using a sound level meter before and after the compressor uses the enclosure. In addition, the enclosure's room temperature is recorded within 30 minutes of operation to determine whether there is a significant increase in heat to ensure that the enclosure for this compressor is still within safe limits. Based on the test results, it is known that after a 30-minute operation, the temperature rises from 29 OC to 65 OC in the inlet on the enclosure with the fan off, and the temperature rises from 29 OC to 51 OC on the enclosure with the fan on. While from the results of measuring the sound noise level, taken at a distance of 1 meter outside the enclosure, there is no significant difference, with or without using a fan, the decrease in sound noise level is only about 10 dB, which is 84 dB before using the enclosure, to 74 dB after using the enclosure. So, it can be concluded that the use of fans as coolers is quite effective in maintaining the temperature of the enclosure space when compared to natural cooling through ventilation, but the use of enclosures using pyramid foam material is not effective for reducing the noise level produced by the compressor when operating.","PeriodicalId":31435,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation in Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Materials","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135771549","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This rise presents challenges for local energy supply to diverse buildings. Designing energy-efficient buildings has become crucial in reducing energy usage and promoting sustainability. This research comprehensively analyzed and assessed thermal-cooling loads within an airport building using Panasonic software. The investigation primarily focuses on evaluating cooling load and thermal dynamics within the airport facility, emphasizing enhancing energy efficiency, and ensuring thermal comfort. Additionally, duct sizing design was conducted to achieve a comprehensive HVAC installation. From the result of the investigation, it was found that the highest Cooling Load at the airport occurs at 4:00 PM, aligning with the peak temperature resulting from heat transmitted into the building, reaching 263,591 Watts for the Airport Lounge and 82,202 Watts for the Luggage Room. Building energy management must be undertaken to minimize the energy consumption during that period. By thoroughly examining thermal-cooling loads within an airport building, this research contributes to decision-making for designing and operating HVAC systems, thereby advancing sustainable building practices.","PeriodicalId":31435,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation in Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Materials","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135771545","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The materials used in the present study are: subbase granular materials Type B, two types of subgrade soil; clay and sandy soil, and two nonwoven biaxial geogrids (G1 and G2) used as reinforcing materials. Direct shear testing was adopted by manufacturing a large-scale direct shear apparatus consisted of an upper, square box of size 20 cm × 20 cm × 10 cm, and a lower, rectangular box of size 200 mm × 250 mm × 100 mm is used in the present study. The results show that, for the four normal stresses equal to 25, 50, 75 and 100 kPa, the interface shear stress curves increased and followed similar trend. For clay-subbase interface, installation of geogrid decreases the apparent cohesion of the material from 16.5 kPa (without reinforcement) to be 8 kPa and 13.5 kPa for G1 and G2, respectively. At sand-subbase interface, using geogrid leads to increase the cohesion of the material from 3.5 kPa to be 15.5 and 16 kPa for G1 and G2, respectively. The friction angle increases slightly from 30o (without reinforcement) to be 35o for G1 and G2 when the interface is subbase over clay. While, it decreased from 35.8o to be 32.1o for G1 and G2 at sand-subbase interface. The interaction coefficient for G1 and G2 increased when the normal strength increased at the clay-subbase interface. Otherwise, the behavior of interaction coefficient of the sand-subbase interface appears deferent trend, where increasing normal stress leads to decrease the interaction.","PeriodicalId":31435,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation in Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Materials","volume":"75 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85770263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The severity of the outbreak affected the health of abundant folk worldwide. This bred the emergence of unimodal artificial intelligence approaches in the diagnosis of coronavirus disease but solely led to a significant percentage of false-negative results. In this paper, we combined 2500 Covid-19 multimodal data based on Early Fusion Type-I (EFT1) architecture as a severity recognition model for the classification task. We designed and implemented one-step systems of automatic comparative machine learning (AutoCML) and automatic comparative machine learning based on important feature selection (AutoIFSCML). We utilized our posed assessment method called “Descended Composite Scores Average (DCSA)”. In AutoCML, Extreme Gradient Boost (DCSA=0.998) and in AutoIFSCML, Random Forest (DCSA=0.960) demonstrated the best performance for multimodality Covid-19 severity recognition while 70% of the characteristics with high DCSA were chosen by the internal important features selection system (AutoIFS) to enter the AutoCML system. The DCSA-based designed systems can be useful in implementing fine-tuned machine learning models in medical processes by leveraging the capacities and performances of the model in all methods. As well as, ensemble learning made sounds good among evaluated traditional models in systems.","PeriodicalId":31435,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation in Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Materials","volume":"38 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82193867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Properties of the composite cements was evaluated, through the setting time (initial and final) and compressive strength (3, 7, and 28 days) compared with control PCC. Setting time is retarded in Portland-composite cements with higher fly ash content. The retardation is highest in PCC with substitution of 25% fly ash. Lower compressive strength is obtained after 3 and 7 days of curing for PCC with 5-25% fly ash substitution in comparison with control cement, since pozzolanic reaction still did not show its effect. After 28 days, compressive strength was higher than that for control cement because pozzolanic reaction show its effect, highlighted by compressive strength increase of PCC substituted by 5% and 10% fly ash, 16.48 MPa and 16.52 MPa, respectively. This attributed to the differences in the pozzolanic activity of the applied fly ash. The compressive strength increase was explained by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), which shows that PCC with substitution of 10% fly ash had more Tobermorite presented compared to control cement.","PeriodicalId":31435,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovation in Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Materials","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42668830","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
