The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of anxiety and labor in primigravida mothers. This type of research is analytic using a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all third trimester primigravida mothers who came to give birth at the Kiki Sutresni Maternity Clinic as many as 45 people from February to April 2022. The sample in this study was purposive sampling using the slovin formula with a total sample of 31 people. Data analysis was performed using univariate analysis, bivariate with chi-square test. The results of bivariate analysis using the chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between the level of anxiety and labor in primigravida mothers (p=0.001). It is recommended that health services can provide information related to the delivery process and other factors that can provide good readiness for third trimester mothers so that labor goes well.","PeriodicalId":313508,"journal":{"name":"JURNAL KEBIDANAN KESTRA (JKK)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130976174","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the efforts made to reduce maternal mortality is to maximize antenatal care (ANC) services by involving companions to motivate pregnant women to check their pregnancies at health facilities regularly in each trimester. Midwives assess weight gain in mothers during pregnancy, insufficient weight gain during pregnancy can result in chronic energy deficiency (KEK) and potential complications in childbirth such as bleeding and low birth weight babies (BBLR), while excess weight gain can cause obesity which has an impact on pregnancy with preeclampsia and macrosomia in the fetus. To check the pregnancy so that the assessment and monitoring of the health condition of the mother and fetus is more optimal. This can increase morbidity and mortality for mothers and babies who will be born later. This study is a Quasy Experimental study, with a total sample of 28 pregnant women, which was divided into two groups, namely the intervention group and the control group, which was illustrated in the form of a table using the Wilcoxon test to see the influence before and after the intervention was given, then obtained a p-value of 0.025 <0.05. The results of this study show that there is an influence of mentoring PKK mothers on the weight of pregnant women in Denai Bird's Nest Village, Pantai Labu. So it is hoped that PKK mothers can increase cooperation with health workers and can motivate and provide education to pregnant women to check their pregnancies so that the assessment and monitoring of maternal and fetal health conditions is more optimal.","PeriodicalId":313508,"journal":{"name":"JURNAL KEBIDANAN KESTRA (JKK)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114436950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study was to find out what factors make patients non-compliant in TB treatment. The method used observational analytic with a cross sectional design, the instrument used questionnaire, the population in this study was all TB patients at the Tanjung Morawa health center as many as 47 people with sample 30 patients who were taken rondom. The test used chi square test with a confidence level of 95%. The test results showed that there were 2 factors with non-compliance in TB treatment, namely knowledge factors (0.26%) and occupational factors (0.47%), and there were 2 related factors, namely Education factors (0.001%) and Attitude factors (0.003%). It is recommended for TB patients or sufferers to continue to improve compliance for those who are good in order to recover completely and for those who have not complied in TB treatment in order to improve their level of compliance so that they can be cured also by doctors and health workers are expected to continue to support and remind patients to continue to be obedient in TB treatment.","PeriodicalId":313508,"journal":{"name":"JURNAL KEBIDANAN KESTRA (JKK)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131545351","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hypertension during pregnancy if left untreated can cause various complications. The complications in question include premature babies, childbirth bleeding, brain bleeding, seizures, induction of birth, impaired fetal growth and death of the mother and fetus. Swedish massage can lower blood pressure, the efficacy of the results of this therapy can improve blood flow in the body, control the parasympathetic nervous system, the endorphins released increase so that they can respond to a person's heart rate decrease. So that it can lower blood pressure. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of giving Swedish massage complementary therapy on reducing blood pressure of pregnant women in the working area of the Haruai Health Center. This research method uses a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. 16 samples used total sampling sampling. Then the observation sheet and digital sphygmomanometer as research instruments. The results of the study showed that there was an effect before and after the Swedish massage intervention was given, indicated by the significance value of the statistical test results of the paired sample t-test of 0.000. UNICEF data for 2013 states that stunting in Indonesia is predicted to be 7.8 million children under five. This incident places Indonesia in the top 5 countries with the largest number of stunting toddlers in the world. This research aims to analyze the relationship between maternal characteristics and parenting style of feeding with the incidence of stunting. An analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach was chosen in this research. The research was conducted in Palusibaji Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2022. The population in this study were all mothers who had 56 toddlers and the sampling technique was accidental sampling with a sample of 34 people who were tested using the Chi-Square test at α = 5%. The research results from the data obtained and based on bivariate analysis, it was concluded that the variables of early breastfeeding initiation (p=0.01), complete basic immunization (p=0.01), and parenting style (p=0.001) are related to the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Analysis of multiple logistic regression tests is parenting style p = 0.003 with a value of Exp (B) = 1.615, which means that parenting styles in good feeding is 1.615 likely not to experience stunting compared to bad parenting styles with stunting events.
