The building constructions deteriorate due to the severe climatical circumstances also fading the building structures thereby requiring higher electricity for the building set up. This study was developed for estimating the R-value (thermal resistance) keeping environmental parameters in consideration which stipulates the load-based performance for building structures. The resulting R-value will be compared with the values published by ASHRAE in their energy efficiency standards. This study aids in analyzing the actual annual energy losses (kWh), associated costs, and the potential savings that can be expected by improving the R-value of the deficient building envelope elements.","PeriodicalId":312952,"journal":{"name":"2021 First International Conference on Advances in Computing and Future Communication Technologies (ICACFCT)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116642753","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the queuing in VANET is a neglected area. Data structure has a significant effect on the delay in VANET due to frequent rescheduling. Several data structures have been proposed in this work by combining various existing data structures to reduce the effect of frequent rescheduling. The results show the effect of various combinations of data structures on the performance of the network. Most efficient data structure provides an improvement of 3.3% in delay, 3.94% in packet delivery and 4.08% in throughput in comparison to the linked list. Although this improvement is not much significant, it should be noted that this is only due to the use of different data structures.","PeriodicalId":312952,"journal":{"name":"2021 First International Conference on Advances in Computing and Future Communication Technologies (ICACFCT)","volume":"94 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132124490","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This message transmission follows certain constraints, which are: each call requires one time unit and a node in the network can call not more than k of its adjacent vertices in one unit of time. Under k-broadcasting, we can see that in t time steps, at most (k+1)t members can be informed. Or, to inform the entire nertwork of n nodes, we require ⌈logk+1n⌉ time steps. In this paper, we study k-broadcasting in trees of a given diameter. We also study the minimum time required to multi-broadcast in a tree from any originator vertex. We present values for the maximum possible number of vertices in a tree of a given diameter (2 ≤ d ≤ 5) in which k-broadcasting takes place from any vertex in the tree.","PeriodicalId":312952,"journal":{"name":"2021 First International Conference on Advances in Computing and Future Communication Technologies (ICACFCT)","volume":"2013 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114879276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Image dehazing is used to minimise the effects of weather conditions and improve the pictorial impacts of the image which make post-processing easier. Various approaches are utilized to create high-quality images with improved colour, lighting, and boundaries which are free of halo artifacts. To eliminate the haze, most known de-hazing algorithms employ a conventional scattering model, prior’s methods. A high speed, low power dynamic comparator is addressed in this paper. The proposed architecture is based on charge shared logic in the regenerative latch stage along with modification in the pre-amplifier stage. The power consumption has been tremendously reduced by preventing the input nodes of pre-amplifier stage from completely decreasing to ground. The delay of the circuit is also reduced compared to conventional circuits of dynamic comparator .For verification of the outcome’s, all the architectures are simulated in 45-nm technology on Cadence Virtuoso at power supply voltage of 0.8V. The new architecture of dynamic comparator consumes a total power of 1.29 μW and delay of 112.44ps at maximum operating frequency of 1GHz with 0.8V supply voltage, common mode input voltage (Vcm) of 0.7V and difference in input voltage of 5mV. Amongst the infected subjects, the asymptomatic ones need not be entirely free of symptoms caused by the virus. They might not show any observable symptoms like the symptomatic subjects, but they may differ from uninfected ones in the way they cough. These differences in the coughing sounds are minute and indiscernible to the human ear, however, these can be captured using machine learning models. In this paper, we present a deep learning approach to analyze the acoustic dataset provided in Track 1 of the DiCOVA 2021 Challenge containing cough sound recordings belonging to both COVID-19 positive and negative examples. To perform the classification we propose a ConvNet model. It achieved an AUC score percentage of 72.23 on a blind test set provided in the challenge for an unbiased evaluation of the models. Moreover, the ConvNet model incorporated with Data Augmentation further increased the AUC score percentage from 72.23 to 87.07. It also outperformed the DiCOVA 2021 Challenge’s baseline model by 23% thus, claiming the top position on the DiCOVA 2021 Challenge leaderboard. This paper proposes the use of Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients as the input features to the proposed model.","PeriodicalId":312952,"journal":{"name":"2021 First International Conference on Advances in Computing and Future Communication Technologies (ICACFCT)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125453409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
