Abstract
The present study is mostly planned to deliver a cost-effective and competent way of approximating the temperature losses from structures that are tough to grasp and administer. The building constructions deteriorate due to the severe climatical circumstances also fading the building structures thereby requiring higher electricity for the building set up. This study was developed for estimating the R-value (thermal resistance) keeping environmental parameters in consideration which stipulates the load-based performance for building structures. The resulting R-value will be compared with the values published by ASHRAE in their energy efficiency standards. This study aids in analyzing the actual annual energy losses (kWh), associated costs, and the potential savings that can be expected by improving the R-value of the deficient building envelope elements.
