But some of our real desires about a fabric is still difficult to be satisfied, such as touch. So far, much research has been dedicated to providing consumers with a realistic simulation of fabric through virtual experiences. In the previous study, we have proved that fabrics' tactile properties could be well perceived through products' visual representations. On this basis, the present study is aimed to further study the mathematical model of predicting fabric tactile properties from samples' visual features. Two sensory experiments have been designed to extract the tactile properties and visual features of a set of textile samples represented in video clips. An intelligent method based on rough set and fuzzy set theories has been developed to extract principal visual features for the interpretation of each tactile property. Then a fuzzy neural network has been designed to build a mathematical model between each tactile property and the corresponding principal visual features. Extra experiments have been carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model. The results have proved that it is possible to predict fabric tactile properties from samples' visual features with satisfactory accuracy.","PeriodicalId":312629,"journal":{"name":"2015 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE)","volume":"128 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122127024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method is designed for objects with smooth curved boundary. It divides an object into affine-invariant parts based on the feature point. And a new approach for matching each part is presented in this paper. Robust Hausdorff distance (RHD) is introduced to measure the similarity between feature points set of model and that of target. In terms of the new RHD, the optimal affine transform can be estimated. And then the sub-curve match pairs are calculated based on the optimal affine transformation. The experimental results show proposed algorithm are capable of coping with partial occlusion and affine transformation.","PeriodicalId":312629,"journal":{"name":"2015 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122523734","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, we want to know if it is possible to predict which shoppers will buy a new item with enough purchase history. Fortunately, while dealing with Big Data and with data streams in particular, it is a common practice to summarize or aggregate customers' transaction history to the periods of few months. As an outcome, we compress the given huge volume of data, and transfer the data stream to the standard rectangular format. Consequently, we can explore a variety of practically or theoretically motivated tasks. For example, we can rank the given field of customers in accordance to their loyalty or intension to repurchase in the near future. This objective has very important practical application. It leads to preferential treatment of the right customers. We tested our model (with competitive results) online during Kaggle-based Acquire Valued Shoppers Challenge in 2014.","PeriodicalId":312629,"journal":{"name":"2015 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124104022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, the extended alpha cut representation of the IT2FS is defined. Then, the parametric representation of the type 1 fuzzy sets (T1FS) is formulated by constructing the embedded pessimistic, modal and optimistic functionals. The corresponding parametric centroid functional of the IT2FS is determined. Finally, the average centroid of the IT2FS is calculated by taking the integral average of the parametric centroid functional. In this manner, the IT2FSs are defuzzified and can be ranked by sorting the average centroids. A numerical example is presented for verifying the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":312629,"journal":{"name":"2015 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE)","volume":"232 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123024823","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Visual words are usually constructed by using SIFT(Scale Invariant Feature Transform) of patches. Traditional SIFT descriptor is limited in describe the outdoor scene completely and accurately because it does not consider the multi-directional context and global color information of image. In this paper, we propose that a new scene descriptor and classification method based on SIFT(NC-SIFT, Color Multi-Directional Context SIFT) feature descriptor of key word of patches. Firstly, local SIFT combined with the context information is extracted based on image patch, Then, BOW(Bag of Words) is obtained by K-means clustering and histogram statistics and the scene recognition based on SVM classifier using BOW which fuse the global color vector is accomplished respectively.","PeriodicalId":312629,"journal":{"name":"2015 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133731363","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the present paper, directed hypergraph is a tool used to represent CNF formula and explore SAT problems. The directed hypergraph associated with CNF formula is constructed and the one-to-one correspondence between them is proved. Some equivalent results are analyzed the relationships of two clauses and directed hyperarcs. Due to B-graphs can't represent all Horn formulas directly, we define the extended B-graph associated with them and a new way to express hyperpath. The satisfiability of special cases of Horn formula is given.","PeriodicalId":312629,"journal":{"name":"2015 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133485423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Along with the increase demand of detection, the workload of clinical doctors increases significantly. In this paper, we try to screen out absolute normal cervical smear using machine learning algorithms with the help of computers. The clinical images are preprocessed to reduce noise. The unsupervised learning method is then adopted and morphological operation is conducted in sequence to extract the cell nucleus in all images. Afterward, the key features of each instance are extracted for learning. The image sets are trained and tested in the multi-instance learning (MIL) framework. The results show that our proposed method can achieve satisfactory performance. Therefore, our proposed method can be expected by clinical doctors for use in clinical papanicolaou smear reading in the future.","PeriodicalId":312629,"journal":{"name":"2015 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE)","volume":"180 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124501675","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in some uncertain situations, the linguistic evaluation set with total order set is not enough for providing the assessments of the decision maker because all the linguistic labels are comparable. For describing the comparable and incomparable linguistic linguistic evaluation labels, a 2-dimension linguistic lattice implication algebra (2DL-LIA) is firstly introduced by combining two linguistic evaluation sets and a lattice implication algebra (LIA). Subsequently, the comparison analysis between two labels of a 2DL-LIA is investigated according to the structure of lattice. Finally, some operators are defined by using of the logical operators in a 2DL-LIA, and some properties of these operators are discussed, which are quite useful in the aggregation process of multi-attribute decision making (MADM).","PeriodicalId":312629,"journal":{"name":"2015 10th International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE)","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126781649","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
