Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa skor PCK calon guru biologi dalam menyusun rencana pelajaran dan praktik mengajar berada dalam kategori baik, dengan hasil persentase skor CK 70,83% (baik), hasil persentase skor PK 75,70% (baik), dan hasil persentase skor PCK 66,67% (sangat baik). Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan smahasiswa calon guru mulai berkembang mengenai PCK melalui cara penyampaian materi pelajaran biologi dengan menghargai ide-ide siswa sebelumnya dalam pembelajaran, meskipun kedalaman pemahaman bervariasi. Selain itu, hasil PCK menunjukkan banyak perkembangan dalam perancangan rencana pelajaran melalui pengetahuan konstruktivis. Pengembangan terhadap pengetahuan pedagogi, konten dan PCK berkaitan dengan keterampilan mengajar merupakan aspek yang sangat penting. Penggunaan rencana pelajaran yang mudah diakses dapat meningkatkan kemampuan PCK untuk mengembangkan prinsip-prinsip pedagogis. Meskipun pengembangan konten dan PCK terkait pedagogis, mungkin cukup untuk memungkinkan mahasiswa calon guru untuk membuat dan menghubungkan konteks materi pelajaran biologi yang memfasilitasi siswa dalam pembelajaran kontekstual. AbstractThis study identified four distinct aspects of pedagogical knowledge and three aspects of content knowledge, as well as related among these PCK aspects. This study shows that the PCK scores of pre service biology teachers in preparing lesson plan and teaching practice are in good category, with result of CK score percentage 70.83% (good), result of PK score percentage 75.70% (good), and result of PCK score percentage 66.67% (very good). Finding in this study were pre service students ability about PCK began to develop an understanding of the way to deliver biology subject material that values students’ prior ideas in learning, eventhough the depth of this understanding varied. In addition, PCK show as much growth in their lesson plan with respect to the constructing knowledge. In developing a pedagogy and content knowledge of PCK, relating to skills about teaching, appears to be critical. Using lesson plan that is simple accessible seems to increase PCK ability to develop pedagogical principles. AbstractSince its establishment on 18th May 1817, conservation, research, and education, have become core competence of Bogor Botanic Gardens (BBG). The Gardens become a valuable destination showed by about 1.2 million visitors annually, but only less than 10% of those with educational visitation. Therefore, an identification and evaluation of variety and characteristics of education tools supporting environmental education in BBG is carried out in this study. The study showed that topics and tools applied in BBG is quite various but their content and approach have to be improved. Topics highlighted trending conservation and environmental issues have been incorporated in education programs and activities, in line with BBG’s vision and mission. All the educational tools in terms of interpretative materials are potential to improve visitor’s knowledge. However there are only a few can generate positive behaviour towards environment. Efforts in integrating technology into educational tools were observed, such as mobile application for self-guided tour. Other tools are thematic routes and a newly established education room called Ecodome. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan model kelas multidimensional. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan MC. Taggart. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 28 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus. Persentase ketuntasan pada setiap siklus terus meningkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan Model kelas Multidimensional. This study aims to apply teaching materials based on the local potential of Pondok Bali Subang mangrove ecosystem to improve students' creative thinking skills. This study uses a pre-experimental design method. The research subjects were class XI Fisheries Department with a total of 17 students.The instruments in the study included teaching materials based on the local potential of mangrove ecosystems, questions of creative thinking and student response questionnaires. Teaching materials based on local potential mangrove ecosystems were developed first and tested for their feasibility and readability before being used by students. Teaching materials are equipped with practice questions that explore students' creative thinking abilities. The results showed an increase in students' creative thinking skills before and after the application of teaching materials was applied. N-gain values of the indicators of creative thinking are consecutive: fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration are 0.41, 0.54, 0.44 and 0.55 which are in the medium category. The increase in N-gain is: 23.5% of students in the high category, 58.8% in the medium category, 11.8% in the low category and 5.9% in no increase. Student responses to teaching materials showed a positive response (93.9%). AbstrakEkosistem mangrove Pondok Bali di Subang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar dalam bentuk bahan ajar yang kontektual bagi siswa-siswa di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan bahan ajar berbasis potensi lokal ekosistem mangrove Pondok Bali Subang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Jurusan Perikanan dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 17 orang. Instrumen pada penelitian meliputi bahan ajar berbasis potensi lokal ekosistem mangrove, soal berpikir kreatif dan angket respon siswa. Bahan ajar berbasis potensi lokal ekosistem mangrove disusun terlebih dahulu dan diuji kelayakan serta keterbacaannya sebelum digunakan oleh siswa. Bahan ajar dilengkapi dengan pertanyaan-pertanyaan latihan yang menggali kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan bahan ajar. Berturut-turut nilai N-gain dari indikator berpikir kreatif: fluency, flexibility, originality dan elaboration adalah 0,41, 0,54, 0,44 dan 0,55 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Peningkatan N-gainnya adalah: 23,5% siswa berkategori tinggi, 58,8% berkategori sedang, 11,8% berkategori rendah dan 5,9% tidak mengalami peningkatan. Tanggapan siswa terhadap bahan ajar menunjukkan respon yang positif (93,9%). Quasi-experimental method with two-way ANOVA design was used to conduct this study with 34 second semester physic education students of IKIP PGRI Pontianak. Data of students’ higher order thinking ability was obtained from multiple choice test with reason while the data of students' critical thinking ability was measured using multiple choice test. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is an influence of the problem based learning model on high student's thinking ability, (2) there is an influence of high critical thinking ability and low critical thinking ability on high student's thinking ability and (3) the interaction between the application of problem based learning model with the ability to think critically to the students' high level of thinking ability. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning, keterampilan berpikir kritis dan interaksinya terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa pada materi optika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu dengan desain two way ANOVA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di IKIP PGRI Pontianak pada mahasiswa semester II program studi pendidikan fisika sebanyak 34 orang mahasiswa. Data kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda dengan alasan sedangkan data kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa diukur dengan menggunakan tes berbentuk multiple choice. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa, (2) terdapat pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi dan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa dan (3) terdapat interaksi antara penerapan model problem based learning dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa. Tujuan dari kegiatan studi lapang tersebut, masih dihadapkan dengan minimnya SDM, sehingga tidak mudah untuk mengimplementasikannya secara dinamis dan berkelanjutan, sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini, akan mengeksplore atau mengkaji lebih detail tentang peran dan kontribusi studi lapang di kalangan PT, yang tentunya membutuhkan proses pembelajaran yang lebih baik, dalam membentuk kualitas SDM yang berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, lebih melihat pada dinamika persepsi dan interpretasi mahasiswa, yang berkaitan dengan pengalamannya selama di lapang, dan sejauh mana keberhasilan yang diperoleh atau dicapainya, setelah melakukan studi lapang yang berupa produk ilmiah, seperti naskah ilmiah, baik berupa bentuk laporan penelitian maupun jurnal, kemudian proses diskusi panel di dalam kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode studi lapang salah satu kegiatan yang tidak mudah dilakukan, ketika menyusun sebuah laporan yang ilmiah, hal ini dapat dilihat dari aspek lemahnya argumentasi ilmiah yang dibangun, sehingga permasalahan ini, menjadi memberi gambarkan kepada semua pihak, bahwa model pendidikan ini perlu di ubah, dengan memodifikasi sebuah kurikulum yang lebih dinamis, dan tentunya juga disesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman. Field study is an approach in learning that may develop to increase the quality of student, particularly in confronting with real life problems. This research was aimed to study the role and contribution of the field study to increase the quality of students. Using students’ perception and interpretations on the study field learning approach, this study tried to answers queries on the extent of study field approach for their learning success. Results revealed that the current field study approach was one of difficult approaches to be implemented in learning. This research was conducted on Biology Education program in the odd semester of academic year 2015/2016. The subject of this research is the students of Biology education program which in the odd semester take the Vertebrata Zoology courses totaling 25 people. The method used in the research is development with research design which consists of preliminary, development, and evaluation stage. Instrument in this research is in the form of evaluation material sheet by evaluator. The results showed that the average value given by the evaluator was 83, which entered into good category. Teaching materials developed by students vary widely. The teaching materials consist of wordpress (28%), wix (24%), webnode (16%), prezi (16%), other web and UIN Website respectively by 8%. This shows that students have been able to develop web-based teaching materials by utilizing the development of ICT. AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai penggunaan media online dalam proyek pembuatan bahan ajar berbasis web pada matakuliah Zoology Vertebrata. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada program studi Pendidikan Biologi pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Biologi yang pada semester ganjil mengambil mata kuliah Zoologi Vertebrata berjumlah 25 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode pengembangan dengan design penelitian terdiri dari tahap pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar penilaian bahan ajar oleh evaluator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata yang diberikan oleh evaluator mendapatkan nilai 83 yang masuk kedalam kategori baik. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan oleh mahasiswa sangat bervariasi. Bahan ajar tersebut terdiri dari wordpress (28%), wix (24%), webnode (16%), prezi (16%), web lainnya dan Website UIN masing masing sebesar 8%. Hal ini menunjukkan mahasiswa sudah mampu mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis web dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan TIK. Therefore, it is needed for various creative activities and meaningful learning to learn it. A contextual approach by integrating local potential and physics material becomes a promising choice for studying physics. This study aims to identify the local potential that can be integrated with the physics material. This is a qualitative research by study of literatureand and survey method. The results showed seven physics materials in SHS based on the Curriculum 2013 Revised Edition can be integrated with the local potential of Wonosobo, Indonesia. There is the nature of physics and measurement of physical quantities; dynamics of motion; static and dynamic fluids; temperature, heat, global warming phenomenon; kinetic gas theory; light and optical devices, and sounds. The local potential are calculate the seeds and agricultural products, Arjuna temple, how farmers irrigate land, sikidang crater, color lake, menjer lakes, pengilon lake, dlingo lake, merdada lake, cebong lake, swiwi lake, steam power plant “Geodipa”, Mangli water source, Carica Pubescens, ongklok noodles, heating equipment, Dieng plateau, Bundengan musical instruments, confusing lines around the Dieng plateau, Serayu River, Kalianget baths, and ruwatan rambut gimbal. AbstrakPembelajaran fisika di SMA menuntut terpenuhinya 4 kompetensi inti, yaitu spiritual, sosial, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan berbagai aktivitas kreatif dan pembelajaran bermakna untuk mempelajarinya. Pendekatan kontekstual dengan mengintegrasikan potensi lokal dan materi fisika menjadi pilihan yang menjanjikan untuk mempelajari fisika. Pemetaan potensi lokal dan materi fisika perlu dilakukan sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan potensi lokal yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan pembelajaran fisika SMA guna melaksanakan pembelajaran kontekstual. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan survey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 7 materi fisika SMA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 Edisi Revisi dapat dipetakan dengan potensi lokal Kabupaten Wonosobo, Indonesia. Materi tersebut yaitu hakikat fisika dan pengukuran besaran fisika; dinamika gerak; fluida statis dan dinamis; suhu, kalor, gejala pemanasan global; teori kinetik gas; cahaya dan alat optik, dan bunyi. It was conducted through the problem-based learning model assisted with video. The method was Classroom Action Research (CAR) held in two cycles. Using essay test and observation sheet, 29 students of class X IPA 3 were involved. The result showed that at the first cycle, students’ learning average was 85,31 with 93%learning completeness. Following the second cycle, both the learning average and completeness increased to 93,41 and 100% respectively. The results of the acquisition of communication skills and product making skills of the first cycle average 85,39 and the second cycle is 86,06. The average value of N-Gain in cycle I and II respectively is 0,67 and 0,79 (high category). Students activities have also risen from 89% (cycle I) to 100% (cycle II). This concluded that problem based-learning model assisted with video enables students to enhance their learning outcomes especially on the concept of environmental changes and preservation effort. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar biologi pada peserta didik kelas X IPA 3 SMAN 3 Kota Tangerang Selatan tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan menerapkan model problem based learning disertai media video. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA 3 SMAN 3 Kota Tangerang Selatan tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 29 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pencapaian hasil belajar pengetahuan pada siklus I rerata 85,31 dengan jumlah yang mencapai Ketuntasan Belajar Minimal (KBM) 93%, pada siklus II rerata belajar 93.41 dengan KBM 100%. Hasil perolehan nilai keterampilan komunikasi dan keterampilan membuat produk siklus I rerata 85,39 dan siklus II yaitu 86,06. Adapun rerata nilai N-Gain pada setiap siklusnya adalah 0,67 pada siklus I dan 0,79 pada siklus II dengan kategori pemahaman tinggi. Aktifitas peserta didik juga meningkat dari 89% pada siklus I menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning berbantu media video dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada konsep perubahan lingkungan. Guided inquiry is a model that directs students to find facts through existing data and through experimental results. Guided inquiry-based virtual module was then developed in order to systematically help students to increase their critical thinking, particularly in the concept of thermochemical material. This study uses control group pretest-posttest design. Students' critical thinking skills are measured through learning outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis using the Mann-Whitney test there are differences on the students’ ability in the experimental class and control class. While students of both class shows an increase in their critical thinking, students of the experiment class show more effective in dealing with the improvement. Therefore, it is summarized that guided inquiry-based virtual learning can improve students' critical thinking skills. AbstrakModul virtual adalah sebuah bahan ajar yang disajikan untuk peserta didik agar dapat belajar secara mandiri yang disusun secara sistematis untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran tertentu yang disajikan ke dalam format elektronik yang di dalamnya terdapat animasi, simulasi, gambar, serta navigasi yang membuat pengguna lebih interaktif, aktif, inovatif, dan menyenangkan dalam proses belajar yang mana dapat mengarahkan peserta didik agar berpikir secara kritis. Inkuiri terbimbing merupakan model yang mengarahkan peserta didik menemukan fakta melalui data yang ada serta melalui hasil eksperimen. Modul virtual berbasiskan model ini digunkan didalam proses belajar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi Termokimia. Penelitian ini menggunakan Control group pre test-post test design. Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik diukur melalui hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney terdapat perbedaan pada kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan menggunakan dengan modul virtual berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing tanpa modul virtual. Hasil analisis menunjukkan masing-masing kelas terdapat peningkatan dalam berpikir kritis tetapi pada kelas eksperimen peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis lebih efektif dari kelas kontrol, maka pembelajaran dengan modul virtual berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.
