The rapid growth of precarious employment rate is a serious challenge for a developing country. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect precarious workers in Indonesia. The data used in this study is Sakernas August 2019. The analytical method used in this study is logistic regression, where the independent variables are the demographic and employment characteristics of individuals along with macro conditions of regional employment. The findings of this study are that young workers, male, low-educated, unmarried status, and living in urban areas, tend to be precarious workers. Those who work in the manufacturing industry and less than one year of work experience are more likely to become precarious workers. High unemployment rates and low regional average wages also put individuals at greater risk of becoming precarious workers.","PeriodicalId":31003,"journal":{"name":"Media Trend","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48291409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the fact is that the development only touches the interests of certain groups and the results can only be enjoyed by a few people. This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, unemployment and human development on poverty levels in North Sumatra during 2011-2020. The analytical method used in this research is panel data regression with Random Effect Model (REM). The results showed that economic growth and human development had a negative and significant impact on poverty in North Sumatra Province. In contrast to the results found in unemployment, this variable has no statistically significant effect on poverty in this province. The results of this study are expected to be able to enrich references in reducing regional poverty levels. There is a need for government intervention to increase economic growth and human development. Increasing economic growth can be done by expanding job opportunities, especially during the current covid pandemic, while increasing human development can be intervened through education subsidies, and cheap health services, especially for the poor.","PeriodicalId":31003,"journal":{"name":"Media Trend","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41954327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The critical criterion for achieving financial system stability is macroeconomic stability. Instability in the financial system (financial crisis) impairs a bank's liquidity and might lead to more problematic loans, impacting other industries. The association between NPL and numerous macroeconomic variables, including Interest Rate Spreads, Inflation, Percentage of Open Disruption, and Amount of Foreign Exchange Reserves in Indonesia, is examined in this paper. The study used the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method to estimate data for a sample period of 2000 to 2020. In the long run, inflation factors, the number of open jobless, and the number of foreign exchange reserves all substantially impacted the ratio of non-performing loans, according to the findings. However, no variables influenced the percentage of non-performing loans in the short run.","PeriodicalId":31003,"journal":{"name":"Media Trend","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42737927","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research analyzes the impact of the corruption perception index on FDI inflows to Indonesia. Other variables affecting FDI are Gross Domestic Product (GDP), inflation rate, and population. Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) is used to estimate the time series sample between 1995 and 2019. Following the time series procedure, several tests are conducted on the dataset before applying VECM: unit-root, optimum lag, and cointegration. The main finding shows that the higher the corruption index, the higher the FDI Inflows, implicating that low corruption attracts more FDI inflows to Indonesia. Other findings are that an increase in GDP attracts more FDI, an increase in inflation rate reduces FDI inflows, and an increase in population increases FDI inflows. The policy implication of the findings is related to an effort in attracting more FDI inflows requires a substantial endeavor in combating corruption and increasing the Corruption Perception Index of Indonesia from time to time.","PeriodicalId":31003,"journal":{"name":"Media Trend","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41323734","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conditions in Ponorogo Regency in the local tax revenue sector have decreased in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The government must prepare a strategy and design to recover lost tax revenues in 2020. Projections are made to find out the amount of local tax revenue, especially in Ponorogo Regency in the coming 2022-2026. This study aims to calculate and project the value of regional tax revenue for Ponorogo Regency in 2022-2026 and design activities so that these projections can be fulfilled. Secondary data obtained from the Office of Revenue, Financial Management and Regional Assets of Ponorogo Regency. The largest revenue from the Regional Tax for Ponorogo Regency in 2013-2021 is land and building taxes with a total of 250,443,706,350 and the lowest is the groundwater tax post which only reaches 1,862,439,630. However, after making projections for 2022-2026 the largest tax post occurs in total hotels with a value of 6,072,824,558 and the lowest tax post occurs with a parking tax of 722,938,090. The value of the highest tax item has changed in the hotel tax post as well as the hidden tax item in the parking tax which has changed in its entirety from before the projection was carried out. So it is necessary to renew new activity programs in order to increase tax items that are still low and maintain tax items that are already large.","PeriodicalId":31003,"journal":{"name":"Media Trend","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45909176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
