The observation results of car fi re-engines on the chassis Renault Midlum in use at Fire Rescue Service Zlín Region with fi re trucks by the Polish supplier Wawrzaszek ISS Ltd., Bielsko-Biala, and by the Czech company THT Ltd., Poli č ka, are summarized in this paper. {"title":"The Property Offender in the Context of Psychological Personality Disorders","authors":"L. In the article the author presents the basic terms related to the perpetrators of the proprietary crime, carried out research in Slovakia and in the Czech Republic, and presents the pro fi le of the perpetrator of the property crime on the basis of these researches. The author focuses on the psychological pro fi le of the perpetrator in conjunction with dissocial personality disorder. The reason for this review is to know the probability of the possible variants of the perpetrators decision at the crime scene. These parameters ensure usability of product in consumption and guarantee safety of product in relation to health protection and protection of property. The same requirements concern supplied elektricity in distribution network. Most devices are dependent on the source of electrical energy today. For this reason, it is very important to follow parameters of electrical energy for the error free operation of these devices to prevent health damage (e.g. fl ashing of light sources owing to fl ickering effect factors of fl ickering) or fi res (e.g. fi res caused by insulation failure owing to inadmissible overvoltage in supply network). The parameters of power quality are defi ned in the standard ČSN EN 50160 ed. 3. {"title":"Testing of Detection Characteristics of the Passive Infrared Motion Detectors","authors":"A. Detector parameters are indicated in the producer technical documentation and they have to comply with the standards (norms). Their testing is realized by certi fi ed testing laboratories. A testing is realized only on the probationary test sample and the true parameters of the sold detectors may be different from those that are given. This fact is con fi rmed by the results of the measurements, which are given in this article. The most important aspects of the fl ammability characteristics are important indicators as to the dynamics of fi re development, determination of fi re load and fi re risk and smoke production and its subsequent toxic gases. The paper deals with characteristics such as fl ammability and gross calorifi c value. Measurements were conducted on six selected species of deciduous trees, particularly in their leaves, twigs, bark and wood. {"title":"The Fire Risk Evaluation","authors":"B. Nikolić","doi":"10.35182/tses-2012-0001","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35182/tses-2012-0001","url":null,"abstract":": Following the de fi nition of risk as a combination of a probability for its happening and the size of its damage, or, as a combination of the probability of a dangerous event, frequency of the exposure and the size of the damage, a signi fi cant deviation away from the risk function in the areas of the occupational safety and health (OSH) and the fi re protection (FP) has been noticed. In the mathematical expression of the fi re risk according to the de Gustav Purt method (Purt, 1972), risk factors identi fi cation was attempted. The basis for this fi re risk evaluation identi fi cation method within the OSH area was developed by the authors from the HTS in Novi Sad (Nikolic and Gemovic, 2009a; Nikolic and Gemovic, 2009b). This way accomplished a simultaneous calculation of all fi re risks. The structures’ and their content’s risks have been processed, as well as risks towards people in the structures and fi remen extinguishing the fi re.
