The quantitative research method was used and the data were analyzed by using the one-way ANOVA in two groups of students with high listening anxiety in 10 meetings. The experiment group taught by using a Graphic Organizer before the listening session. Meanwhile, the other group was taught by using Advance Organizer in form of narrative text before the listening session. The result of the study indicates that Fo (3.609) is lower than Ft (3.419). Evaluation is one of the important components and stages that must be taken by teachers to determine the effectiveness of learning.The purpose of this study was to find out how students' perceptions (1) problems, (2) Satisfaction and (Effectiveness) as students in Shipbuilding Engineering semester 3 at PoliteknikNegeri Madura for online class with a focus on writing and reading materials.This study used a descriptive research with a quantitative approach due to its relation to the type of data and its analysis. (1) the data obtained shows that 93.3% of students have the main obstacle in taking online English classes is signal problems and 6.7% of students have sound and visibility problems when the class takes place. (2) the data showed that 50% of students choose the sufficient option, 43.3% choose satisfied and the remaining 6.7% choose less satisfied. The subject of this research is sixth semester students of English education study program who joined into English for marketing class. Data was collected from questionnaire and interview, it would be classified in order to get the information about what students’ need for speaking skills in English for marketing class. Based on the data revealed that English education study program and also the lecturers who taught the course are still needed to pay their attention to teaching materials for this course, especially for students’. Teaching materials speaking skills about marketing terms. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode eksperimen desain faktorial. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X TKJ A dan B SMK Negeri 7 Pontianak dan datanya adalah hasil postes menulis puisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menulis puisi antara model pembelajaran roundtable dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan Fhitung Ftabel yaitu 21,34 4,01. Terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar kelompok tinggi dan hasil belajar kelompok rendah terhadap hasil belajar menulis puisi dengan Fhitung Ftabel, yaitu 112,43 4,01. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan hasil belajar peserta didik terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi dengan Fhitung Ftabel yaitu 0,744 4,01. Terdapat perbedaan antara kemampuan menulis puisi dengan nilai tinggi yang diajar menggunakan model roundtable dan peserta didik dengan nilai tinggi yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional dengan mean dari dua kelompok sebesar 5,933 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 yaitu 0,002. Namun demikian Perpustakaan SDN 08 Marong masih belum bisa berfungsi secara optimal akibat kurangnya pelayanan dalam Perpustakaan tersebut. Perpustakaan merupakan sumber belajar utama dan penting. Hal itu tampak dari sejak berdirinya hingga sekarang, Perpustakaan ini telah dan masih diperlukan oleh setiap satuan pendidikan di sekolah tersebut. Perpustakaan sudah menjadi pusat sekaligus sumber belajar dan informasi bagi para murid serta guru-guru dari sekolah pemakainya. Lebih lanjut Perpustakaan SDN 08 Marong juga telah menciptakan peran yang sangat besar dan penting dalam menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran juga upaya meningkatkan aktivitas belajar para peserta didik dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sekolah lewat memperkuat minat baca siswa - siswi. The technology provided many aids for English Language Learner to read. However, this paper aimed to unfold the challenges faced by the English language learner to read in online environment. Therefore, the 30 English Education students of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training of IAIN Pontianak are told to carry out Extensive Reading in online environment. The qualitative study drawn the real and factual challenges faced by the students.
