In order to reduce the longitudinal loads acting on the container placed in the body of the open wagon, it is proposed to improve the scheme of their interaction. In this case, it is possible to use a viscous connection between them. This connection can be implemented between the end walls of the open wagon body and the container or between fittings and fitting stops. To substantiate such a scheme of fastening, mathematical modeling of the dynamic loading of an open wagon loaded with containers was carried out. It is taken into account that the open wagon is loaded with two containers. To solve this system of second-order differential equations, the MathCad software package was used, which implements the Runge-Kutta stepwise iteration method. It has been established that the accelerations acting on the container under the longitudinal loading of its structure are 17% lower than those acting in the typical scheme of interaction with the wagon. The obtained results of the calculation are taken into account when determining the strength of the supporting structure of the container. For this, its spatial model was built in the SolidWorks software package. The strength calculation is made by the finite element method. The results of the calculation showed that the maximum stresses occur in the lower end zone of the container and exceed the allowable ones. Therefore, pinning the container according to this scheme is unacceptable. Also, within the framework of the study, the possibility of introducing a viscous bond into the container fitting was considered. Based on the calculations, it was found that the maximum stresses occur in the container fittings and amount to about 270 MPa. Therefore, the strength of the container is ensured. The conducted studies will contribute to increasing the efficiency of container transportation, as well as the operation of railway transport.","PeriodicalId":308855,"journal":{"name":"Scientific notes of Taurida National V.I.
