In this paper, we present an effective method based on relative geometry features to support partial similarity human motion retrieval. The key components of our approach include effective feature selection by Adaboost, initial feature weight predication for a query through regression model and effective relevance feedback based on feature weight adjustment. Experimental results prove the effectiveness of our proposed method.","PeriodicalId":308799,"journal":{"name":"2012 Fourth International Conference on Digital Home","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-11-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128156558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For mapping texture to the incomplete region, the whole region is divided into several discrete subsections and the segmentation textures are kept continuous according to the textures' difference of phases. When mapping texture to the irregular region, the algorithm of convexification and triangularization is adopted. Based on these mapping principles, we provide a new texture collage mapping pattern. To variety of different textures and collage regulations, the rendering to texture technology is used to generate a small geometry texture which will be mapped into the target object based on the texture's structural properties. Besides, the whole texture continuity is also maintained. These algorithm designs have been applied to the Virtual Home Design System. Experimental results have shown these methods can make lots of texture layouts map faster in large-scale also with much lower texture storage space cost.","PeriodicalId":308799,"journal":{"name":"2012 Fourth International Conference on Digital Home","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-11-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133990165","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Second, we use the Multi-Feature Object Tracking method which synthesizes the advantages of kernel-based mean shift tracker and contour tracker to accomplish object depth capture for non-key frame. In order to enhance user's 3D experience, Web3D technology provides the way to embed interactive 3D content into web pages. Some open standards of Web3D technology (VRML and X3D) are given but they cannot meet the increasing application need, so many companies built their own Web3D implementations. However, the variety of these implementations makes developers difficult to decide which one should be chosen. In this paper, according to analyzing several popular Web3D tools and measure their application features, some quantities indicators of several Web3D tools are given. Based on differential domain constraints condition, deformation energy function based on the different types of cloth materials is optimized. Nonlinear least squares deformation energy is the core of this differential framework. The cloth deformation is simulated interactively by increasing the related constraints and iteration methods. On the basis of design of geometric energy, transformation, and the corresponding nonlinear optimization numerical solution, the cloth deformation can be simulated more realistic. To solve such problem, we propose that video scenes should be divided into two kinds: cut segmentation and indistinct segmentation and a tolerable value should be given before comparing performance of different algorithms according to different applications. In order to divide two kinds of scenes, we introduce a Fuzzy function to assess ambiguous degree of scene boundary. This paper also present a novel two-pass approach of scene segmentation which is based on constructing temporal graph and Instance learning algorithm. In pass-one, the method first constructs shot temporal directed graph and splits graph into sub-graphs, some sub-graphs are identified as training examples (TEs) by analyzing their density and the nearest neighbor classifier is generated to label shot as-1, 0 or 1. In pass-two, a sequence segmentation algorithm is applied to detect scene boundaries on label sequence. Experiments are presented with promising results on several movies and TV plays.","PeriodicalId":308799,"journal":{"name":"2012 Fourth International Conference on Digital Home","volume":"106 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-11-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117083395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
