Finally the HRV data of the two groups of subjects under different conditions were recorded and analyzed. As a result, the RMSSD and PNN50 of the experimental group (in the state of TCM Qigong) were significantly higher than those in the third stage (sitting state) of the control group, (p<0.0l); in the experimental group, the RMSSD value was significantly higher in the Qigong state compared with the meditation state and the anxiety state (p<0.0l), and the PNN50 value also increased significantly (p<0.05); while the RMSSD and PNN50 of the control group changed during the three stages, the difference was not statistically significant (p>0.05). Compared with the first stage (meditation state) and the second stage (anxious state), there was no significant difference in HRV frequency domain indicators between the two groups (p>0.05). In the third stage, compared with the control group (mediation state), the experimental group (Qigong state) had significantly lower VLF, LF, and LF/HF values (p<0.05), and its HF value was significantly higher (p < 0.05). Therefore TCM Qigong exercises can regulate the activity of the heart’s autonomic nervous system (ANS) and make the activity of ANS more balanced.","PeriodicalId":308387,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121110849","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There have been n-back tasks in many forms of different complexity, which could influence the result to some extent. In this paper, the author tries to use Shannon’s theory about information entropy to evaluate it, and find the relationship between the amount of information and subjects’ performance. At last, conjectures about working memory model are made and information theory is proved to be a powerful tool to guide n-back test design.","PeriodicalId":308387,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"21 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126945092","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper has covered schizophrenia, which was formerly known as early-onset dementia, a common psychiatric disorder with unknown etiology. It usually occurs among young adults and leads to several obstacles in thinking, emotion, perception, behavior, and personality, and “split” of mental activity. Individuals with multiple episodes turn into a chronic state, being generally unconscious and mentally impaired. Nevertheless, schizophrenia does not mean that one cannot lead a fulfilling and meaningful life and rehabilitation is still possible. Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent complications and improve prognosis. Despite the fact that most patients have no violent criminal record, schizophrenic patients are often labeled as treacherous people under the sensational exaggeration of the media. The auditory hallucinations are thought to be dangerous, but in fact the voices they hear are mostly self-harm rather than hurting others. Further, the paper has validated that, the patient can choose to refuse to follow the auditory hallucination commands. Proper treatment, effective self-help, as well as a healthy sustenance system enable numerous people to regulate their symptoms, live independently and work, establish satisfying relational associations and enjoy evocative lives.","PeriodicalId":308387,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115059088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, gene editing is always a popular topic in societies. There are already three methods on gene editing, including the zinc finger nucleases (ZNFs) technology, transcription activator like effector nucleases (TALENs) technology and the most recently found CRISPER/Cas9 technology. At the end of 2018, a Chinese professor called He Jiankui announced that two genetically modified babies were born, which caused great attention among public. This article introduces the three gene editing technologies and the whole process of the genetically modified babies’ event to give the readers some background knowledge of the issue. Subsequently, the study worked out some considerations of this event from different aspects aiming to have a deep analyze. It is hoped that scientists can raise their awareness on what to do and authorities should at the same time properly interfere and report in the process to supervise. Some ethical problems on applying these technologies to human embryos should also be considered and better to be solved.","PeriodicalId":308387,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129244764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From January 2020 to October 2020, 1355 unqualified blood samples were analyzed. The results of mathematical statistics analysis showed that the common factors of unqualified blood samples were included: hemolysis 279 cases (20.64%), coagulation 238 cases (17.60%), anticoagulant incomplete 146 cases (10.80%), improper blood collection test tube 137 cases (10.13%), insufficient specimen volume 194 cases (14.28%), inadequate preparation of 127 cases (9.39%), delayed submission for examination 98 (7.17%), 72 cases (5.33%) of blood sampling from the same side of infusion, and 64 cases (4.66%) of other factors. There were many reasons for unqualified blood samples, but some of them sometimes could completely be avoided. This required that each department should improve the blood sample control system, and at the same time enhanced the sense of responsibility and professional skills of the staff, so as to reduce the unqualified rate of samples as much as possible, which could make the test results more accurate, and have a great help for early diagnosis and differential diagnosis.","PeriodicalId":308387,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123499523","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also will tell the readers about the suggestion of the victims who had experienced violence to emphasize the women right to live free from the violent crime in Indonesia. Questionnaires were used to collect the data in this study and it was conducted in the Central Java province, Indonesia. 960 women and girls who were victims of the violent crime against women are taking part in this study. The data were collected using a questionnaire which is the participants personal information consisting of 13 question items prepared by researchers. The questionnaires form variables are including participant name, age, education, occupation, education status, and monthly income. All data collection tools are used in Indonesian language, in ways that can be done and understood by the participants. According to this study, 44% of cases of violence against women occurred on 31-40 years old women, 31.4% occurred on 21-30 years old women, and to the tune of 13% occurred on under the 20 years old, which showed that participants under age of 50-year-old are more likely to experience cases of violence when compared to women above 50-year-old which there were only 2.6% of cases. 48% of cases of Violence against women were founds on who have only completed primary school, 8% of cases against women who have no education history at all, meanwhile only 7% of cases happened to women who graduated from college. 44% cases of housewives and 28% of cases experienced by factory workers. Victims with low monthly income have high violent cases which are 55%, while women with higher monthly income only have 11% of cases. This study also determined that women were mostly exposed to physical violence (91%) and sexual violence (64%). The perpetrators are mostly their husbands (50%) and victims’ boyfriends (21%). From these data it is very clear that educational background, levels of work and monthly income has an important factor in occurrences of violent crime against women’s cases. In conclusion for this study, as in many similar studies too, Violence against women’s cases is very high. There are still a lot of women who do not consider the behavior of the perpetrators as a violent crime. Socioeconomic status and lower educational background are factors determining this situation. According to this study results, the main influencing factors that increase the level of violence reported include relatively women under 50 years old, low levels of education, unemployment, and low monthly incomes. We are convinced that this research can be very helpful as guidance and literature in resolving the problem of violence against women.","PeriodicalId":308387,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114334460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this research, we carry out machine learning methods such as linear regression and neuron networks to make predictions on the number of positive cases of COVID-19. We also collect state-level data to generate predictions by linear regression and we find that the data from two states-Georgia and Massachusetts-can be used to predict the number of infections nationwide. After dividing our dataset into 3 consecutive time periods and training different models to fit each corresponding data, we compare mean square error (MSE) values to draw the conclusion that for the first time period the Lasso performs better than Ridge, for the second time period the Ridge and Lasso behave similarly on our data, and for the third period time the Ridge fits our data better than Lasso. Furthermore, from the general perspective regardless of 3 time periods we find that single variable linear regression performs more accurately than fully connected neural network.","PeriodicalId":308387,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116218329","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
