Learning to write descriptive texts cannot be separated from the personality of students, namely introvert personality. Evaluation of learning by using a learning model that is appropriate to the introvert personality type is important. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of writing descriptive text learning with the think pair share model in VII grade students with introvert personality. This research used one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of the research based on the paired t-test with a significance value of 0.000 showed that there was a significant difference between the results of the initial test and the final test of writing descriptive text. Significant differences were experienced by introvert students, as there was an increase in the average score of the initial test from 68.07 and the average score of the final test of 80.38.","PeriodicalId":30816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research and Educational Research Evaluation","volume":"18 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78454871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to develop the Al-Irsyad curriculum evaluation model to strengthen the educational ideology (EKADIOLOGI). This research used the ADDIE model. The analysis activity was to see the need for an evaluation model. The initial product was developed by confirming 11 experts, practitioners, and model users. The limited trial involved 159 respondents and 492 respondents in the expanded test phase. The data of instrument model test results, the model use guide, the feasibility of the model, and the assessment of the readability of the instrument were analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to get an overview of the validity of the instrument and Cronbach Alpha for estimating its reliability. The conclusion of the study is EKADIOLOGI consists of four constructs encompassing design, process, output, and, outcome. The fit model is supported by empirical data with a Chi-square probability value of 0.08846 (> 0.05), RMSEA value of 0.049 (<0.08), an NFI value of 0.93 (> 0.9), and CFI of 0.98 (> 0.9). The EKADIOLOGI model instrument has good validity and guaranteed reliability so that the model can be recommended for curriculum evaluation in Al-Irsyad schools. The results of this study can be used as an instrument of curriculum evaluation in Al-Irsyad schools and a foundation for strengthening the ideology of Al-Irsyad Education.","PeriodicalId":30816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research and Educational Research Evaluation","volume":"13 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87802999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Feasibility testing is reviewed from 1) Media feasibility, 2) Material feasibility, and 3) Student learning achievement. The research started from the development of e-modules with ADDIE development model which is then conducted feasibility testing of e-modules, learning homework, and student response in using e-modules. Based on the results of the calculation of learning media feasibility test obtained a percentage of 90% for media experts and 84.17% for material experts, including in the category of very feasible. The calculation of the feasibility of student learning outcomes was done with t-test which is tcount = 13.73 > ttable = 2.04. The increase in student learning outcomes obtained an average test gain of 0.64 with a moderate increase category. Analysis of students' responses to learning media obtained a percentage of 90.61% so that the learning media developed falls into the category of very practical and feasible to apply.","PeriodicalId":30816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research and Educational Research Evaluation","volume":"25 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73725353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method was pre-experimental, and the Eighth grade of A is chosen as the sample. The findings show that there is significant difference in the mean score between students’ writing before and after treatment. It is also indicated from the result of hypothesis testing, it results in Ho is rejected because 0.000 < 0.025 (2-tailed) and based on t-test criteria, if t-test is bigger than t-table, it means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Besides students’ writing skill achievement with portfolio assessment is better than students without the assessment at the level of believe 95%. Portfolio assessment has positive correlation with students’ writing skill, it shows from the result of r-test in this study is 0.671 and the level of correlation is in the level of strong. Therefore, the assessment of teachers should have well-prepared materials, assignments, and other activities being appropriate time and it is better implemented in small class because it can be easily managed.","PeriodicalId":30816,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Research and Educational Research Evaluation","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78454127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
