He carried out a field study using a survey technique. Thirty-three teachers from different Brazilian states participated in the present study, answer ing a online questionnaire. The data showed that most of the teachers in their initial formation have a degree in Pedagogy. In the context of continuing education, it is noticed that most of the professors have chosen training individually and with their own incentive, seeking specialization courses as a source of new knowledge. The selection of this theme is related to the idea that teaching is an ethical occupation, because they work with and for people, from a pedagogical relationship that requires human closeness and, simultaneously, demands a «optimum distance» (Baptista, 2005). The objectives that guided this study had the concern to analyze the legal documents about teacher training, evaluate the ethics space in the initial training and give voice to students as actors of the training process. To this end, we opted for a paradigm of qualitative and interpretative research using the semi-structured interview, as a privileged instrument for data collection subjects, a posteriori, the content analysis. {"title":"Políticas nacionales para la integración de las TIC: un estudio comparado entre Brasil y España","authors":"J. In general terms, this article intends to examine possible convergences and divergences in objectives presented by these policies. The time frame was between 1997 and 2010, when these policies and the launch of new transnational policies for ICT integration began. The research has a qualitative approach and a descriptive and documentary procedure, through the comparative study method. The sources were laws, resolutions, regulations, decrees, regulatory guidelines, official informs, official communications and technical reports. Facebook was used as a social and interactive tool that would permit sharing information to illustrate various aspects of diverse educational contexts as well as the impacts of the implementation of improvement projects seen from the beneficiaries’ perspective. Case Study was the methodology selected. Postgraduate students got the task to work on certain improvements on learning assessment matters. The educational scenarios were located in Mexico and Colombia. 7 units of analysis were chosen among 34 possible. The findings pointed out that students worked on their contexts in alignment with the stipulated academic competencies. The use of video materials posted and shared using Facebook allowed get a deeper understanding of the way the benefits influenced in each of the educational communities. Besides, these products evidenced students’ appropriate performance. In conclusion, the use of social networks for fortifying performance assessment is highly recommended. A partir de las caracteristicas de la inteligencia emocional de los lideres de una organizacion escolar, este estudio de caso pretende describir las relaciones existentes entre la inteligencia emocional del liderazgo y la eficacia de ese mismo liderazgo escolar, segun los parametros y dominios definidos por la Inspeccion General de Educacion en Portugal. Para alcanzar ese objetivo se recurrio a dos tipos de tecnicas de recogida de datos, la pregunta por cuestionario y el analisis documental. Por un lado, la aplicacion de cuestionarios de autodescripcion posibilito la caracterizacion de la inteligencia emocional de los sujetos encuestados. Por otro, el analisis documental nos permitio la exploracion y descripcion de relaciones entre aquellas caracteristicas y la eficacia del liderazgo.
