It is a spiral-shaped bacterium with several modifications that enable it to live in the stomach’s severely acidic environment. Methods: In this paper, we discussed Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) disease, its epidemiology, pathophysiology, hygiene, causes, risk factors, clinical manifestation and complications, method of transmission, diagnosis, treatment, and incubation period in the human body. Results: The incidence and prevalence of H. pylori infection can be influenced by factors such as age, socioeconomic status, geographical location, and living conditions. Generally, H. pylori infection is more common in developing countries with poorer sanitation and hygiene standards. it is estimated that approximately 50% of the world’s population is infected with H. pylori. Conclusion: We have concluded that although the precise way of H. pylori transmission is not entirely understood, it is thought to largely spread via oral-oral or fecal-oral routes. It can manufacture the enzyme urease, which turns stomach urea into ammonia, neutralizing the acidic environment and creating a suitable environment for its life. Today, H. pylori is recognized as the primary contributor to chronic gastritis. Biostatistics play an important role in medical field research. In this article, I have discussed the reorientation of medical education, statistician’s role in it, what would be taught in that program and its importance. Materials and Methods: Total number of students of 7th semester are divided into 4 groups. Each group selects their own topic. After that, they discussed the related topic and from the proposal to their research/study. Before going to the field to collect the data, the group leaders went to the respective study areas to get the proper permission from the concerned authorities. Results: The group of students have arranged health education, drama, quiz, awareness programmes, and treatment on a small scale in the study areas. Small problems/sufferings are treated in the camp and major problems have been referred to medical college hospital. So, many awareness programs were also conducted in the community and schools depending upon the study topics. Statistician trained the medical students in various aspects under ROME posting. Students were prepared their final report submitted in the Department of Community Medicine after the final approval by the Head of department. Conclusion In this article, I have concluded that this type of ROME posting is very useful and increases the visibility of the medical students. Automatically, research and its usefulness are increased among the medical students in their career. All medical colleges come forwarded to implement this ROME posting in their medical colleges and universities to improve the medical students’ research knowledge and techniques. It is also called Medical Biostatistics/Medical Statistics. It is an important subject in medical, nursing, pharmacy, Bioallied Health Sciences, and other biology related specialties. In this article, I briefly explained my teaching and research experiences related to Biostatistics to the College of Pharmacy (COP) students. Materials and Methods: In this paper I have discussed and explored all the steps related to teaching Biostatistics, its applications, and research methods and its implications to the College of Pharmacy students in Saudi Arabia. Online classes was conducted at the time of Covid-19 pandemic time of the year 2020 – 2021 and 2021 – 2022. Results: I trained COP students in all aspects of Biostatistical tools, their applications, research methods, and other research steps fully. That’s why the Statistical thinking is a crucial part of the studies in pharmacy/medical and biomedical areas. COP students followed my instructions and advice in a good way, and they benefited from my teaching and research methods and its steps throughout their graduation study. Conclusion: I have concluded that teaching of the subject biostatistics and its applications are essential and important to all science and medical specialty students all over the world. Saudi Government must take a necessary step to implement/initiate Biostatistics departments/unit in all colleges separately. It will be very useful to their pharmacist/pharmacy to educate the patients, safe and high-quality care, to control the drugs effect/adherence among patients successfully and to achieve the best high-quality results of patients’ health. To find out the risk factors and how much its influence, to identify the risk factors that influencing, to identify the presence of DR and its progression by forming mathematical equations using which was found possible with some variables and to find several stages of DR and its progression. Methods: In this study, adult population (age ≥ 18) only was taken into account for data analysis. Some structured questionnaires were used for data collection. We have done some hospital based retrospective studies among known T2DM patients. The continuous variables were expressed as mean and standard deviation and categorial variables as frequency and proportions. We have used, various prediction statistical models.
