Protein-rich lymph initiates inflammatory response and increase susceptibility to infections, which can lead to disfigurement or dermal changes. Case Report: A 42-year-old lady was referred to a tertiary care hospital for chronic lymphedema of the left lower limb. She has been having this ailment for the past 20 years, she has a history of traumatic injury of left ankle and the swelling gradually increase in size over the years and developed pulmonary embolism a few years ago. Flap monitoring was done on this patient frequently. During the stay, vacuum assisted closure (VAC) dressing was applied after free muscle coverage of the lower extremity. The patient was given health education on skin care to improve hydration and lower the risk of infection by applying moisturizing emollient to soothe and support the skin. It moves by a jelly-like tongue-like protrusion of the cytoplasm “pseudopodium”. Infections by this parasite lead to distinct clinical manifestations, including diarrhea, mild abdominal pain, loss of appetite, fatigue, dysentery, and hepatic liver abscess. Methods: In this paper, we discussed about Entamoeba histolytica disease, its epidemiology, pathophysiology, hygiene, causes, risk factors, clinical manifestation and complications, method of transmission, diagnosis, treatment, and incubation period in human body. Results: It is the second leading cause of death. It was diagnosed by taking a complete history and testing stool samples for the presence of E. histolytica cysts. It was treated pharmacologically and surgically. Conclusion: We have concluded that the Entamoeba histolytica is an infection mostly related to fecal-oral transmission due to poor hand hygiene, defecation into water sources such as rivers, and being near animals, and gay or bisexual males due to the risk of fecal-oral contamination through oral and anal sex. It is the second leading cause of death from parasitic intestinal disease worldwide. This pandemic has increased the awareness regarding the importance of mental health. Methods: Every occupation is subjected to mental stress, but a field of particular importance is a teacher. During the ages 5-15, the teacher’s effect on the growing child is unique as they take part in building the academics and the personality of a student. Results: Teachers themselves are often subjected to high work pressure, low pay, and other challenges and their mental health is often overlooked. Hence there is a profound need for training the teachers on detection of early signs of mental disorder and also incorporating their routine mental health examination. The close bonding between the teachers and students can be utilized to generate awareness and help in early diagnosis. Conclusion: From this we have concluded that the preserving the teacher’s mental health will benefit the teacher and their students the future of the nation. The aim of this study to assess nurses’ knowledge and attitude regarding COVID-19 vaccination before and after the training course of the health care centers in Sulaimani city. Materials and Methods: we have done a descriptive quantitative design study with a non-probability purposive sample of 74 nurses, The reliability instrument was decided using the internal consistency (Split half) approach. The collection of the data was revealed by using the interview technique, then presenting the training course to the participants and on the last day of the training the post-test was performed. Results: Most of the participants aged between 31-40 years old and were governmental employee’s female which graduated from the institute of nursing, had not been vaccinated yet; and were not trained regarding COVID-19 vaccination (82.4%, 81.1%, 54%, 91.9%, and 97.3%) respectively. (95.9%) of the participant’s knowledge and attitude before the training course regarding COVID-19 vaccination was low level, whereas after the training course the knowledge and attitude of them reach to the highest level 100%. Conclusion: The participant’s level of knowledge before the training course regarding COVID-19 vaccination was low levels, whereas after the training course their knowledge reach the highest level because of that the researchers recommended focusing on more training courses regarding COVID-19 vaccination by the Ministry of health/infection control department to develop their level of knowledge and attitude. Some hormonal changes will happen during the period of menopause. In this study, our main objectives were to find the association between the classifications of demographic variables and the various scores of domains and to find the association of various predictors variables of different domains of quality of life among post-menopausal women. Materials and Methods: We have conducted a prospective and cross-sectional study on Quality of Life (QOL) among one hundred and fifty Postmenopausal Women in Coastal Semi Urban area of Kerala India in the year 2018. Data was collected by using Menopause Specific quality of Life – 29 questionnaire with 7 Likert scale (0 – 7). The association between various scores of domains of QOL scores and selected socio-demographic variables by using analysis of variance test analysis and the association of various predictors of different domains of quality of life of post-menopausal women by using bi-variate logistic regression analysis. Data were analysed using SPSS 21.0 version. Results: Overall mean age of post-menopausal women was 55.7 ± 4.8 (Range: 50 – 65) years. Higher QOL scores were showed higher risk. In our study, using MENQOL scores showed significant associations with p–value<0.05 in QOL based on body mass index, educational status, socio economic status, number of siblings, and marital status. Conclusion: From study findings, we have concluded that low and normal body mass index, higher educational status, upper to lower middle socio-economic status, a smaller number of siblings, and un-marital status were increased the quality of life and reduces menopausal symptoms problems among post-menopausal women. So, further effective intervention programs are needed in this study areas of the population to develop/increase the quality of life among post-menopausal women.
