Teve-se como objeto de estudo a Cidade de \u0000Vitória, capital do Espírito Santo, que foi fundada em 1551 e passou por diversas transformações. O \u0000tema visa refletir sobre o Patrimônio Ambiental de Vitória, ou seja, as rupturas e permanências do \u0000traçado colonial na contemporaneidade e pressupõe a abordagem sobre a formação urbana da \u0000primitiva sede da capitania do Espírito Santo, Brasil, na longa duração, e sobre os processos que \u0000influenciaram em sua configuração espacial e paisagística. \u0000Além disto, esta reflexão permitiu constatar quais as permanências urbanas da antiga vila na cidade \u0000de hoje, isto é, o que na contemporaneidade constitui o patrimônio ambiental urbano de Vitória, suas \u0000origens e referências. \u0000A noção de patrimônio ambiental abordada na pesquisa está relacionada ao processo de construção \u0000cultural, constantemente transformada pela interação do homem com seu habitat. Este trabajo se propuso responder a la siguiente pregunta: ¿cómo fue la relación entre el plan de \u0000obras para la realización del certamen y los procesos del planeamiento urbano de Cali? Lugar de fiestas y protestas, camino del metro y eje \u0000condensador de una muy significativa mezcla de usos, la Paulista es centro financiero, cultural, \u0000comercial, institucional y social. Para estudiarla buscaremos identificar las principales transformaciones \u0000urbanas transcurridas a lo largo de la historia, matizando los cambios a nivel del suelo, la tipología \u0000edificatoria, los usos, y los contornos de los espacio públicos y colectivos. Nuestros análisis se basarán \u0000en documentos oficiales, en dibujos elaborados a partir de mapas catastrales del ayuntamiento, en datos \u0000recopilados in situ, y en la discusión teórica acerca de la vía como potente hilo conductor y vertebrador \u0000de los espacios de dominio público, de su centralidad y urbanidad.\u0000 This article investigates the main functional and morphological changes at the Paulista avenue, placed in \u0000the heart of the metropolis of São Paulo. It intends to explicate the conditions of its centrality and also its \u0000role as a citizen space. Used for public parties and protests, this avenue is also the metro way, and \u0000condenses a significant mix of uses. Paulista is a financial, cultural, commercial, institutional and social \u0000center, all together. To study it we will search for the transformations occurred along the history, focusing \u0000on the changes at the ground floor, building typology, uses, and at the public and collective space \u0000contours. Our analysis are based on the historical documents interpretation, and on drawing elaborated \u0000since information collected in situ. {"title":"Redefinition of territorial scales and spatial planning in Denmark","authors":"D. Galland","doi":"10.5821/siiu.6002","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5821/siiu.6002","url":null,"abstract":"The spatial planning system in Denmark has traditionally been known for its ‘comprehensive-integrated’ \u0000appeal characterized by a ‘formal’ rationality embedded within its systematic hierarchy of plans and \u0000institutions from national to local levels. In Europe, the purpose of planning systems of this kind has been to \u0000achieve ‘spatial coherence’ between levels of government and across territorial scales through the \u0000coordination and integration of policy sectors (horizontally) as well as jurisdictions and planning policies \u0000(vertically) shaping the management and articulation of spatial change. However, the Danish spatial planning \u0000system has been exposed to profound reorientations in recent years, as illustrated by the radical modification \u0000of its scope, its structure as well as its institutional and policy mechanisms. In the case of Denmark, a \u0000structural reform implemented in 2007 that changed the country’s political geography and its existing \u0000intergovernmental arrangements hence led to: i) the downward rescaling (from regional to municipal levels) \u0000of most functions and responsibilities related to spatial planning; ii) the upward rescaling (from metropolitan \u0000to national level) of spatial planning functions associated with the Metropolitan Region of Copenhagen; and \u0000iii) the revocation of regional planning as well as the institutional dismantling of the metropolitan level. \u0000Based on these series of changes, this paper aims at elucidating how different governments in power over \u0000the last 20 years have interpreted the planning system based on the adoption and adaptation of specific \u0000strategies (legal and/or spatial) that seek to articulate the different levels that comprise the planning system \u0000in one way or another. The impact that stems from the implementation of these strategies (whether they also \u0000remain as speculations or intentions) is that there is an increasing tendency to indirectly redefine \u0000conventional territorial scales. El presente artículo refiere la historia del proceso urbanístico de este territorio a partir de los setenta, \u0000más que la morfología urbana, la atención se centra en el diseño y la gestión urbana especialmente en el papel \u0000de los agentes urbanos para transformar condiciones adversas, producto del desarrollo informal a través de la \u0000autogestión y la participación ciudadana acompañada de entidades gubernamentales que han priorizado el \u0000desarrollo de proyectos de vivienda de la ciudad en la localidad, atrayendo a promotores inmobiliarios privados \u0000generando incremento del precio del suelo y una de las mayores tasas de densificación.\u0000 Bosa, located in the southwest of Bogota, has around 700,000 inhabitants, is one of the areas most recent urban \u0000development in Colombia, in the first decade of the century the population increased by 50% due to \u0000contradictory processes between formality and informality; is the only sector in Bogotá with conurbation.
