However, most of the e-LMS are developed for offline or online desktops. The objective of the proposed mobile learning management system (m-LMS) is to provide the flexibility of accessing and managing course materials at anywhere and anytime, making learning even more widely available. The m-LMS is equipped with many functions to allow for various related multimedia documents such as text, image, audio, and video to be uploaded, edited, deleted, tagged, and searched among the university students. Experimental results obtained from surveys have shown that the m-LMS is able to provide better learning environment for the university learners, which lead to a deeper level of learning engagement.","PeriodicalId":306280,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computer Theory and Engineering","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121631494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There has been growing interest in accepting game theoretic method to wireless systems. The problem of interference management in femtocell network is approached from the prospective of game theory with the concept of price policy. Whereby price is used to control the power transmission of each femto users in the cell coverage. In this paper, we propose a price policy to reduce the effect of interference between the femto users at both center and edge regions of cell network. The performance of our proposed algorithm is demonstrated by simulation results. However, little studies have been done to examine how programming affects primary school students especially in the Malaysian context. To better understand how learners respond to the use of digital games in learning programming, this exploratory case study is performed by examining the attitude of upper primary schools students towards its usage. The students were asked to perform several learning activities using games during which observations were made and questionnaires were distributed for data collection. The outcome of the study will be useful in the future development of games that are suitable to the students’ age and level. By identifying the learners’ preference, it can help to guide the development of digital games especially in the field of programming. In this algorithm, the watermarking image embeds into the compressive measurement vectors by the encoder. The measurement vectors are sparse in suitable basis. The resulting watermarked measurements recover by using both the OMP and the OMP-PKS reconstruction algorithms. Then the decoder uses to extract the watermarking image. Although curable, many Filipinos cannot afford the cost of treatment. Furthermore, the free services offered by the public health centers are insufficient to attend to the medical needs of those seeking help. In this paper, the researchers present the system that can assist doctors, nurses and health workers in diagnosing tuberculosis using techniques in machine learning through applying ID3 algorithm. Interviews with several experts in the field of TB were conducted in order to gather data that were used to populate the system's knowledge base. Test result show that the system is capable of prescribing treatments based on the patient's data and tracking the progress of the patient based on his/her prescribed treatment.","PeriodicalId":306280,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computer Theory and Engineering","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116994953","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The assignment of the correct angles to each joint is critical for robot motion. However, different robots have different structures, thus this discrepancy causes a difficulty when converting a motion to another type of robot. For solving this problem, we propose a GA-based method that can find the conversion matrix needed to map joint angles of one robot to another. There are two objectives to consider when creating an imitation; reducing the difference between the ideal imitation and the converted imitation and keeping the stability. Three experiments were conducted; a stable experiment, an unstable experiment and a double learning experiment. As a result, the double experiment showed a high concordance rate of 93.5%, the highest stability and the fastest speed of all experiments. These results show great promise for the proposed method as a way to realize motion imitation between different types of robots.","PeriodicalId":306280,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Computer Theory and Engineering","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125378823","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
