Typically, metaheuristics algorithms utilize stochastic operators that make each iteration unique, and they frequently contain controlling parameters that have an impact on the convergence process since their impacts are mostly neglected in most optimization literature, making it difficult to draw conclusions. This paper introduced the Big Bang-Big Crunch (BB-BC) metaheuristic algorithm to evaluate the performance of a metaheuristic algorithm in relation to its control parameter. It also demonstrates the effects of varying the values of BB-BC in solving. The \"Welded Beam Design problem\" is a well-known engineering optimization problem that is classified as a Single-Objective Constrained Optimization issue. Multiple starting parameter values for the BB-BC are evaluated as part of the experimental findings. This is done in an attempt to find the algorithm's optimal starting settings. The lowest, maximum, and mean values of the penalized objective functions are then computed. Fruits are rich in potassium, fiber, and vitamin C yet low in fat, sodium, and calories. A diet high in fruit can help us avoid diseases including cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and others. Without professional dietitian guidance, a method that quickly reveals how many calories or fruit they are consuming can be helpful in maintaining health. The use of image processing methods is expanding across all academic fields, including food science and agriculture. The identification of plant fruits and the extraction of their features are the first topics covered in this essay because they are essential to agriculture. The goal is to use the results of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to build an accurate, efficient, and reliable framework. Fruit detecting software could simplify human labor. Based on color and shape characteristics, several fruit recognition methods have been developed. However, the color and shape values of several fruit photos could be comparable or even the same. As a result, utilizing PCA feature extraction analysis methods to identify and distinguish fruit photos is still not strong and effective enough to boost recognition accuracy. In this paper, a fruit recognition algorithm based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is proposed. The establishment of a database of fruit photos with 6 distinct categories and 36 photographs is the second topic covered in this essay. Despite the environment's adaptability and the many benefits it offers, there are, however, a significant number of threats to one's privacy and safety. A great number of cryptosystems have been proposed in the literature on picture encryption in an effort to make communication more secure. For the purpose of data transmission, the AES algorithm is utilized due to the increased efficiency it offers in the block. This paper proposes image encryption techniques based on the AES algorithm and Henon map. The plain image has been encrypted using the AES algorithm at the first step. Then, the Henon map is used to generate a random key which is required to provide the second step of encryption. This step of encryption has been performed using the XOR operation. The results of the studies demonstrate that the strategy proposed resolves the issues that are present in conventional techniques of encryption. The histogram of the encryption picture is consistently spaced despite being different from the histogram of the original image. The recommended approach is extremely sensitive to the key value; even minute adjustments result in a distinct visual representation. Several data-centric studies were conducted on evaluating competencies, detecting similar jobs and predicting salaries of various job positions. However, the hazy distinction between closely related job positions requires powerful predictive algorithms. The present study proposed an ensemble approach for accurate classification of various job positions. Accordingly, different machine learning algorithms were applied on 955 instances obtained from Glassdoor using web scraping. Furthermore, the present study classify various job positions based on average salary and other correlated explanatory variables that cover many aspects of job activities on the internet. The study result revealed the superior performance of heterogeneous ensembles in terms of precision and accuracy. Ameen, Hussein Ali Ahmed","doi":"10.25007/ajnu.v12n3a1690","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.25007/ajnu.v12n3a1690","url":null,"abstract":"The assessment of quality by the current most widely used on-line machine translation systems such as Google Translate and Bing Translator has always been a hotly debated and controversial topic. This research endeavors to assess the translation quality of the already referred to on-line machine translation systems so as to highlight the level of their inadequate quality, if any. Yet, due to the nonexistence of a unique quality assessment method as far as the translation by the two systems is concerned, the current research sets out to utilize an error analysis method for assessing the quality of the translation of two specialized texts from Kurdish into English by Google Translate and Bing Translator systems. The error analysis of the chosen texts reveals that both systems achieved excellent results in the orthography category, with 100 and 98.7 percent accuracy for Google and Bing, respectively. Additionally, results of 98.8% for Google and 97.5% for Bing concerning lexis reflected positive outcomes for both systems. Because both systems recently adopted NMT (neural machine translation), which simulates the way human brain functions to produce translation and learns from texts formerly translated by human translators, the two systems performed very well in these areas. The analysis also shows that the two selected systems were successful in the translation of the selected texts with reference to English rules of grammar achieving outstanding results that are 99.6 accuracy for Google and 99.4 for Bing.
