OFDM method is one special case of OSDM method, and MMSE receiver for OSDM method achieve more than 2 times faster transmission speed compare with OFDM under same bandwidth, same transmitter power, same multipath environment,and same bit error probability. In this paper we use reduced size MLD (maximum likelihood detector) receiver to detect OSDM signal. The atom dictionary of the new algorithm is based on the array geometry, and the algorithm is applicable for any phase differentiable signals, both wideband and narrow band signals. We show that their out-of-phase autocorrelation values are upper bounded by the maximum between q - p + 1 and 5. For the trivariate Weibull distribution infinite series representations for the joint probability density function (PDF) and the cumulative distribution function (CDF) are derived. Moreover, a novel analytical expression for the joint moment-generating function (MGF) is presented. It is assumed that the arbitrarily correlated variates do not necessarily have identical fading parameters and average powers. These series representations are readily applicable to the performance analysis of a triple-branch MRC receiver. Furthermore, the average bit error probability (ABEP) is then derived and analytically studied. Meanwhile we introduce some results on the generalized rotation matrix, which is used as linear transition to recover the OFDM data. We give the simulation comparisons between two different linear channel estimation methods based on different CE modulation scheme under Rayleigh fading channel, which is assumed flat within one frame. The proposed method unifies and generalizes the existing subspace-based methods for blind channel estimation in single-input single-output OFDM systems to blind channel estimation. The proposed algorithm can be applied to MIMO-OFDM systems with insufficient CP or no CP. Furthermore, in the case of MIMO system, it exits an ambiguity matrix between the estimated channel coefficient matrix and the true channel matrix. Using second-order blind source separation gets source signal. In order to solve this problem, the principle of fin stabilizers at zero speed is presented. Traditional fin stabilizers are controlled by analog PID controller, which is sensitive to the high frequency noises of gyroscope and ocean waves. Digital controller of fin stabilizers is analyzed in this paper to suppress these noises. Furthermore, advanced control algorithm can be easily realized with the development of digital signal processor. The power plants on ships usually can not provide enough energy for fin stabilizers at zero speed. Thus the application of discrete control algorithm, which is called generalized predictive control (GPC), on fin stabilizers at zero speed is investigated to optimize the roll reduction process. Basic generalized predictive control is extended based on the fact that the input and output signals of roll controller are constrained. Simulation results indicate that generalized predictive control is more efficient than PID control to minimize the ship roll angle in the same conditions.
