The prevalence of acne ranges from 47-90% during adolescence. African, American and Hispanic women have a prevalence of 37% and 32% while Asian women are 30%, Caucasian 24%, and India 23%. Leaves melinjo contain flavonoid compounds that function as antioxidants that will interfere with the metabolic functions of microorganisms such as bacteria. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of melinjo leaf extract (Gnetum gnemon L) on the growth of bacteria Propionibacterium acnes, using design Descriptive. Data analysis using univariate analysis to know effectivity of leaf extract of melinjo to the growth of bacterium Propionibacterium acnes. Method: This study used melinjo leaf extract which was generated using 96% ethanol solvent. Results: The study showed that concentrations that could inhibit the growth of bacteria Propionibacterium acnes were at concentrations of 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10%. Inhibition zone diameter at 2.5% concentration of 6.13 mm, 5% concentration of 6.68 mm, 7.5% concentration of 7.92 mm and 10% concentration of 10.94 mm. It means the higher concentration of melinjo leaf extract hence the higher the resistance of bacteria Propionibacterium acnes. Conclusion: Further research is expected to carry out further tests with other concentrations and solvent extracts other than 96% ethanol or bacteria other than Propionibacterium acnes.","PeriodicalId":303323,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Inter-professional Health Collaboration (ICIHC 2018)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121355608","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Primary services with cervical cancer screening use IVA tests as a form of promotion and preventive health services. Health BPJS provides guarantees to participants who have performed cervical cancer screening without fees. The coverage of cervical cancer screening in Bengkulu City is 1.44%, while the WHO target is 80%. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the BPJS health service system in cervical cancer screening in Bengkulu City in 2017. The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Subjects or informants in this study were BPJS staff in the Primary Services section, Head of P2M Section of the Health Office, a program implementing midwives in the Puskesmas, health BPJS participants who have performed cervical cancer screening. Data collection techniques use in-depth interviews. Data processing is done by describing the contents. The results showed that the implementation of cervical cancer screening was not optimal. The implementing staff is not by the rules that are determined, the limitations of cryotherapy equipment are only found in one puskesmas, there is no specific funding source provided for program development, and monitoring activities are only carried out once a year. Suggestions for relevant institutions to be able to increase the number of implementing personnel through training so that implementation is more optimal, and implementing officers can increase socialization, counseling, and collaborate with influential parties in order to increase the coverage of cervical cancer screening.","PeriodicalId":303323,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Inter-professional Health Collaboration (ICIHC 2018)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128403272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In 2010 WHO Global Report, obtained Indonesian TB data, the total of all TB cases in 2009 were 294,731 cases. TB drug (OAT) is given in the form of a combination of several types namely Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide & Streptomycin. The emergence of cases of resistance to anti-tuberculosis drugs, especially the occurrence of dual immunity (Multi Drug Resistance = MDR). Factors that cause MDR include patient compliance in drug administration, lack of role of PMO and the phenomenon of \"addition syndrome\". This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of supervisors taking medication (PMO) and the resistance of the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the working area of the Bengkulu city health center. Population and sample of 34 TB patients undergoing treatment therapy in the Bengkulu City Health Center work area. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the role of the supervisor of taking medication (PMO) and the resistance of the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the working area of the Bengkulu city health center (p = 0.03 and OR = 6). In general, the main function of the hospital is to provide need of health care and recovery. According to the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No: 983 / Menkes / SK / XI / 1992, the duty of public hospitals is to implement health efforts in an efficient and effective manner by prioritizing healing and maintenance efforts that are carried out in a harmonious and integrated manner with efforts to improve and prevent and implement referrals. These activities will have positive and negative impacts. The purpose of the study was to find out the decrease in phosphate levels of hospital wastewater before and after treatment. The type of research used is pure experiment (True Experimental) with the Pre-Post test experimental design, namely the research conducted before and after treatment. The addition of 0.5 mg / l calcium oxide can reduce Phosphate levels up to 73.3%. Addition of 0.7 mg / l calcium oxide can reduce Phosphate content up to 83.0%. Addition of 1.0 mg / l calcium oxide can reduce Phosphate levels up to 91.88%. From the Kruskal wallis test, it can be seen that the value of ρ <0.05 so that there is a difference in each treatment to the decrease in Phosphate levels in hospital wastewater using a dose variation of calcium oxide.","PeriodicalId":303323,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Inter-professional Health Collaboration (ICIHC 2018)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130654245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
