It firstly uses traditional gradient based detector to get the possible edge points. Then a heuristic ant colony search(HACS) algorithm is applied to search the possible edge points repeatedly. In each cycle, pheromones on the traversed route of each ant are updated proportional to the length of the route, and the transition routes converge on real edges progressively based on the pheromone updating rule. At last, real edges can be extracted according to the intensity of pheromones. Compared with traditional ant colony algorithms, the proposed method uses heuristic information to guide the searching process of the ants, which enhances the intention of the search, and improves the efficiency of the algorithm. Experimental results on noise images show that our method can extract real edges effectively, which keeps the edge details and suppresses the noise at the same time.","PeriodicalId":301048,"journal":{"name":"2011 4th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128272021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But the problem of cloud cover limits the application of some remote sensing images. In order to shorten the execution time of the cloud detection and to implement a realtime cloud detection algorithm, this paper proposes a cloud detection algorithm using data parallel and pipeline. By analyzing the computation complexity of Fractal Dimension(FD) and Angular Second Moment(ASM) and analyzing the feasibility of data parallel and pipeline of them, the algorithm using data parallel and pipeline is proposed. According to the special property that every number from 1 to N appears only once in each row or column in an N*N Sudoku puzzle, a 1-1 relationship can be setup between two Sudoku puzzles and these two Sudoku puzzles will be used to map the original images to a scrambled one. This algorithm scrambles the image both at pixel level and bits level in order to increase the security of the information and to make the scrambled image appear containing no information. Due to the large numbers of the bases (pre-filled units in the Sudoku puzzle), this algorithm significantly improves the security of the information included in the scrambled image. The results show that the image scrambled by this algorithm appears including no information and the original image cannot be restored without right keys.","PeriodicalId":301048,"journal":{"name":"2011 4th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130485511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different from the developed SVD-based watermarking schemes where the singular values are slightly modified, our scheme constructs the watermarks from the singular vectors which specify intrinsic geometry properties of images. Within the framework of zero watermarking, the watermarks are registered in a third-part intellectual property rights (IPR) database for copyright protection. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is robust not only to common image processing operations, but also robust to local geometric distortions.","PeriodicalId":301048,"journal":{"name":"2011 4th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130652978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In vector HHT signal processing method, the existence of intermittent signal and noise leads to mode mixing in the results of empirical mode decomposition (EMD). Mode mixing influences exact extraction of vibration mode, which causes that the signal which should be in the same order of intrinsic mode function (IMF) distributes in different IMFs. In vector HHT signal processing method, the two vibration speed components need to be multiplied by sound pressure respectively, so mode mixing will lead to great error in the estimation of azimuth of the target. To overcome the influence of mode mixing on vector HHT, this paper proposes a kind of vector HHT signal processing method based on scale filtering. The new method can effectively eliminate mode mixing resulting from intermittent signal and noise, and exact decomposition results can be achieved. The improved vector HHT method is used in processing acoustic vector signal, and the data obtained from a certain sea experiment in Dalian city is analyzed by the new method. The waterfall plot accurately shows the azimuth of the target ship, which proves the validity of the method.","PeriodicalId":301048,"journal":{"name":"2011 4th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123537308","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
