Our research in the literature and information sources has shown that sport pedagogical diagnostics in sports has some similarities in the methodology of research in sport in Bulgaria and in other countries in the world. The discovery of sports talents is a task with increased difficulty and there are some very good achievements in Bulgaria in the period 1965-1990, but it has not been fully revealed. CONCLUSIONS. After 1990, with the change of socio-economic reality in Eastern Europe and specifically in our country, the conditions for preparations, control and evaluation of the achievements in sports also changed. With the change in the financing of sports, it has become extremely difficult to conduct sports pedagogical research. The sports pedagogical diagnostics has entered a new stage of development.","PeriodicalId":30048,"journal":{"name":"Trakia Journal of Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67461617","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aim: The aim of the present study was to assess clinically the bleeding risk in a typical tooth extraction in patients on monotherapy with one of the new oral anticoagulants rivaroxaban (Xarelto), apixaban (Eliquis), and dabigatran (Pradaxa). Materials and methods: The study included 30 patients on these anticoagulants who underwent a typical tooth extraction. Local hemostasis was achieved using Surgicel, Haemocollagen or Gelaspon, and suturing the edges of the wound. Clinical evaluation of the bleeding was performed at 10 and 30 minutes, and 24 hours after the extraction. Anticoagulants were discontinued for the day of extraction. Results: Post-extraction bleeding in the first 10 minutes was observed in 17 patients (56.66%). Bleeding within 30 minutes was observed in 11 patients (36.66%). Two (6.66%) patients reported having only mild oozing within 24 hours. No additional haemostasis was required for any of the patients. Bleeding in a typical tooth extraction is of capillary origin. Bleeding sites are easily accessible and local hemostatic agents are effective enough to control the bleeding. Discontinuation of the anticoagulant on the day of extraction is sufficient to prevent any adverse events. No abnormal post-extraction bleeding was observed in our study. Conclusions: If tooth extraction is required in patients taking the new oral anticoagulants rivaroxaban (Xarelto), apixaban (Eliquis) or dabigatran (Pradaxa), the patient can cease the reception of the drug only for the day of the procedure.","PeriodicalId":30048,"journal":{"name":"Trakia Journal of Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67462224","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the growing performance and slaughter traits of fattening quails from the dual-purpose and heavy production types. Three groups were formed – group A (dual-purpose), group D (heavy type, origin: Germany), and group M (heavy type, origin: Bulgaria). After quails sexing on the 16th day of age, there were formed six subgroups: Am, Af, Dm, Df, Mm, and Mf. The fattening period lasted until 35 days of age. The highest live weight at the end of fattening was found out in group M and the lowest – in group А, 207.1±2.98 g and 169.9±1.78 g respectively (P<0.001). The most efficient feed conversion ratio was noted in group D (3.55), and the poorest in the light dual-purpose type А (3.84). The highest survival rate was detected in group М (96.6%), and the lowest one – in the light type, group А (94.2%). Carcass weight tended to be higher in females than in males from all groups. The highest relative share of breast meat was demonstrated in group М: 26.83±0.42% and 26.54±0.2% in male and female birds, respectively (P<0.01). Valuable meat of the carcass of dual-purpose and meat types quails varied from 66.3 to 68.5% on average. The experimental results showed that the productive type of domestic quails has a strong influence on their meat production performance and should be taken into consideration in research studies in this field of poultry science.","PeriodicalId":30048,"journal":{"name":"Trakia Journal of Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67462257","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aim: To test the method, the nasal cycle of a patient with ischemic stroke of the right posterior cerebral artery territory was measured. Method: An interface two-channel portable system has been developed for registration of respiration separately through nostrils. Results: The patient's respiratory and nasal cycle through the left and right nostril was measured for 4.5 hours for three consecutive days (4 days after coming out of the coma). The nasal cycle changed progressively during the healing process. On the first day, an antiphase change in the amplitude of airflow through the left and right nostril was registered with frequency 3 and 1.5 hours. They were accompanied by pronounced somnolence. In the next two days, a nasal cycle reversal of the respiratory airflow through the nostrils was observed. In the process of the patient’s recovery, a spontaneous alternative alternation of equalized respiratory airflow through the two nostrils was observed. The patient's recovery was also assessed on the NIHSS scale, whose values correlated over time with the normalization of the nasal cycle. Conclusion: The method reflects the patient's recovery and can find application in neurology.","PeriodicalId":30048,"journal":{"name":"Trakia Journal of Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67462856","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The European Union has given a very strong political signal to kick-start a green economy all across Europe. The European climate strategy and the transition to a decarbonized economy indeed call for a deep transformation of the production, storage and consumption in the Community. This process either can be described as a transition, generally defined as the process of changing from one state or condition to another, or in a more restricted sense, a transition leading to an entirely new way of fulfilling societal needs. In this process, we are referring to the two sides of the human-nature relation - the principle of ecological dependence, and the principle of ecological impact.","PeriodicalId":30048,"journal":{"name":"Trakia Journal of Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67463473","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
