This study analyzes trade specialization, comparative advantage, and competitive advantage, as well as Indonesia's position as a mango exporter in the global market. The Trade Specialty Index (TSI) is a method used to analyze trade specialization, while Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) is a method for analyzing comparative advantage, and Export Product Dynamics (EPD) is a method for analyzing competitive advantage and market position for Indonesian mangoes. The study falls under the quantitative category because it uses secondary data in the form of a time series that spans ten years, from 2012 to 2021. The research uses India, Thailand, and Pakistan as comparison countries and Singapore, Malaysia, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Germany as destination countries. According to the results of the TSI analysis, Indonesian mangoes exhibit trade specialization as importers in five destination countries, except for Malaysia and Singapore. Malaysia and Singapore are in the growth stage, Germany is in the introduction stage, and four other countries are in the import substitution stage. According to the average value of revealed comparative advantage (RCA), only two of the seven destination nations, Malaysia and France, exhibited strong competitiveness for Indonesian mangoes. The Export Product Dynamic (EPD) matrix reveals that Indonesian mangoes are in a retreating position toward the markets of Malaysia and Singapore. At the same time, the other five target countries are in a falling star position. Increasing the value of TSI, RCA, and EPD can be accomplished by improving post-harvest technology to increase production quantity and quality and developing marketing networks.","PeriodicalId":300276,"journal":{"name":"Buletin Penelitian Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Haluoleo","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124390963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is one of the driving aspects of the emergence of green accounting. The agro-industry sector is a sector that is vulnerable to environmental issues because it is closely related to the use of pesticides, concentrates, air quality pollution, use of fuel for its distribution, etc. This is what makes researchers interested in researching the Lumintu Farm Kediri Regency. This study examines how using green accounting increases eco-efficiency and competitive advantage. A comparison ratio of value added to environmental performance is used to analyze eco-efficiency. Data collection methods include literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is checked through the extension of participation, the persistence of words, and the triangulation of data. The findings demonstrated that Lumintu Farm had adopted green accounting through the stages of identifying costs for mitigating the impact of harmful externalities on production, recognition, measurement, presentation through the income statement, and disclosure of the costs or costs incurred by the company for environmental management. Eco-efficiency analysis with environmental performance and financial performance ratios shows positive results, 52%, an increase of 54%, and a rise of 2%. Implementing green accounting through a consistent allocation of environmental costs improves environmental performance and the entity’s profit. With this profit, business continuity will be better in increasing livestock growth.","PeriodicalId":300276,"journal":{"name":"Buletin Penelitian Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Haluoleo","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117331184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, it identified the farming patterns in Wawonii Island and analyzed the local wisdom of swidden agriculture in Wawonii Island. Purposive sampling procedures were used to get an informant sample, and proportionate random sampling was used to get a farmers' sample. Informants in this study came from community leaders, village staff, and the agriculture and forestry service district. Konawe Islands and extension workers, while the sample of farmers totalling 30 people was taken proportionally from each sub-district on Wawonii Island. Data were collected using a structured interview schedule and summarized with percentages and means. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Results showed the local wisdom of the farmers who used to be slowly fading away. Farmers no longer carry out the tradition of land clearing as before due to limited land. The addition of chemical inputs also slowly began to be carried out because of the short period of resting land. The people of Wawonii Island manage their fields using two agricultural patterns carried out for generations: mixed cropping and monoculture. The existence of local wisdom of field farmers has decreased. The study recommended that the government provides policies that support the preservation of the local wisdom of the people that contribute positively to the balance of forest and land resources therein.","PeriodicalId":300276,"journal":{"name":"Buletin Penelitian Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Haluoleo","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122035039","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Urbanization accompanied by a transition to diet will significantly impact the food system. This study aims to analyze low-income people's sociodemographic characteristics and consumption patterns. This research was conducted in Kendari City. Data collection was carried out in October-November 2021. Determining the research location began by selecting densely populated residential areas in Kendari City. Based on the Geographic Information System (GIS) results, dense residential blocks were obtained in Mandonga District, namely several Neighborhood Units (RT) in Korumba Village and residential blocks in several RTs in Petoaha Village, Abeli District, which are on the coast of Kendari Bay. The low-income people (LIP) population was obtained from data on Social Assistance recipients in each sample village. The total sample is 20% of the population, covering 194 household respondents and extracting data and information using a combination of the food recall and weighing methods. The variables in this study are sociodemographic characteristics, including age, education, number of family members, and gender; house and Yard, as well as variables related to food sources of carbohydrates consumed by MBR households in the last 3 (three) days, including the type, quantity, price, and expenditure of food. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner, with cross-tabulations and percentages. The results showed that the respondents were at an average age of 44.91 years, the length of schooling was 8.27 years, the number of family members was 4 (four), and most were women, reaching 150 people. Most respondents have houses made of planks (wood), namely 97 people, with yards that have not been fully utilized for agricultural activities. The staple food consumption pattern of the respondent's family is dominated by rice (0.48 kg), and the amount of consumption of sago and cassava is minimal, only 0.07 kg and 0.05 kg, respectively. The most significant expenditure for food sources of carbohydrates is to buy rice, which is IDR 4,756/day. Therefore, policies are needed to encourage urban agricultural activities and revitalize the utilization of non-rice staple foods. Need to be disseminated. One form is not assisting in the form of rice to LIP when there is a government assistance program.","PeriodicalId":300276,"journal":{"name":"Buletin Penelitian Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Haluoleo","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126991142","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
