Orc has been proposed as an elegant and more abstract design language. But much of its elegance derives from its functional style which must be matched, by the Software Engineer, with the state-based nature of systems as a whole. This pa- per explores the interface between the state-based and functional views of orchestration by studying an abstract, specification-oriented, semantics for Orc. In order to improve the performance of location distinction in noisy environment, we propose a novel method based on ordinal pattern measure. The existing methods, such as channel gains of multi-tonal probes, received signals strength and temporal impulse response, take rare consideration on the impact of noise at the receiver. We evaluate the above methods in the noisy environment and find dramatic performance degradation in low SNR situation. Because the best time to rescue in these heavy disasters can be predicted, the network lifetime can be expected. According to this feature, this paper proposes a multipath routing algorithm for WMSNs. Firstly, a set of node-disjoint routing paths is found by the method similar to a mazing search algorithm to reduce the number of energy consumption gathering nodes and high risk nodes of network congestion. At the same time, it is easy to support hole-bypass for the nature feature of a mazing search algorithm. Then, a multipath selection strategy is introduced. It employs a new type of congestion control message, a gradual increase strategy based on a path and a gradual increase strategy based on a flow to balance load and energy. This makes it possible to select, integrate and invocate services dynamically. In this paper, an approach of Semantic Web Services discovery is presented. In this approach, the semantic distance is calculated with vector space model at first. Then match web services with ontology hierarchically; finally match web services with QoS. Unfortunately, most approaches presenting loss problem are based on the approximates of the buffer overflow probability, which have been shown incorrect in most of time. Recently, network calculus has been widely used to obtain the performance bounds in QoS analysis, and a deterministic result for loss bound has been proposed. Different from previous research, this paper wants to emphasize the importance of stochastic probability in the study of loss bound. The loss issue is examined from a envelop process perspective and a stochastic loss bound with moment generating function are obtained finally. Then, based on the flow resource allocation model, combine the active traffic in the CRN, we formed the joint resource allocation optimization model for cluster-based CRN and proposed a joint resource allocation algorithm. The simulation result indicated that the solution of the algorithm related to the node numbers of the network, the structure of the cluster, active traffic, active link, and the existence of the solution depend on the amount of relay traffic. The SNR of reconstructed echo signal is improved. Clustering is an effective method to reduce energy consumption of sensor nodes. In this paper we propose a cell base clustering algorithm. The target field is divided into small non-overlapping cells. Sensor node set in each cell is a cluster. The size of cell is well selected so that any node in adjacent cell can communicate with each other. We also present a low-overhead cluster head electing algorithm and an optimal inter-clustering routing algorithm. We evaluate the performance of our proposed clustering algorithm with comparing to GAF algorithm. The numbers of clusters generated by the two algorithms are approximately equal. But the average length of inter-cluster communication path of our proposed algorithm is less than GAF algorithm. However, such improvements also introduce more complicated protocol behaviors. In order to effectively analyze the functionalities of this protocol, formal methods should be adopted. In this paper, a Colored Petri Nets (CPN) based formal model of Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 (HMIPv6) protocol is proposed. Then, simulation and state space analysis are utilized to validate the model and verify some higher functional properties of HMIPv6 protocol.
