In types of renewable energy sources, solar and wind energy are the two most potential renewable energy sources because they have greater availability in all areas and they should be able to exploit in various sizes and forms. However, a single renewable energy source system can't provide a continuous power because of difference of the weather condition of seasons. So, research and use a hybrid energy system is necessary. To exploit wind energy efficiently, design of the high-performance wind turbine's blade profiles is extremely important. To maintain the performance of the panels at the highest level we need a system of adjustable panels that are always facing the sun. This paper will show the design process of a hybrid energy system with a helical darrieus wind turbine and a sun tracking solar panels system. The purpose of this system is generating an uninterrupted power without damaging the nature, applying easily in areas where people do not have electricity grid and helping households in areas where people have electricity grid reduce the cost of electricity consumption. A hybrid energy system with calculated power 1136 Wh/day is designed.","PeriodicalId":296191,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131621334","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The heat transfer coefficient obtained from the coupled heat and mass transfer mathematic model. This heat transfer coefficient is used to calculate the variation of the simulated value of heat load. The practical decrease of wetted ratio analyses were taken into account when the solution flow from the top to the bottom of the parallel tube bundle. The deviation of theoretical heat load and experimental heat load is about 10%. In addition heat transfer coefficient and mass transfer coefficient of the absorption process are agree well with other studies. For developing the controller, a dynamic model of this parallel manipulator is developed based on a matrix form equations. APID-RBFNs is designed to overcome external disturbances and complex noises acting on the parallel manipulator system by using adaptive PID sliding surface with RBFNs. By using the Lyapunov method, the stability of the overall system with full state constraints is proved. The simulation results in universal software Matlab/Simulink show that the proposed control strategy has better dynamic performance and robustness than conventional PID tracking control.","PeriodicalId":296191,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133789665","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this process, the most difficult part is heating the sample while keeping the temperature uniform. The pressing speed is one of the main parameters that impacts strongly on product quality. In this paper, the mold for studying the effect of pressing speed was designed and manufactured. The Deform 3D software was applied for observing the relationship between the pressing speed and the force history, stress, and temperature distribution. The results show that a pressing speed of v = 8 mm/s results in the smallest stress. The stress depends on many elements. For example, the pressing speed of v = 6 mm/s makes the heating process happen fast. The billet is cooled faster so the stress increases and even changes the structure unexpectedly. When the pressing speed is too high, the metal on the surface of the billet flows with high speed so it collides with the folding segments causing great resistance thus creating high stress.","PeriodicalId":296191,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133663540","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to provide an interactive service management platform to the elders a smart environment of numerous sensors are clubbed together to establish an intuitive platform that can control the home appliances and gadgets within the living space of elders. The proposed system used voice and gesture to control the home appliances like turning on/off the light, closing/opening of curtains, TV, and fan or AC within the living spaces. The system also supports the real-time activity and monitor the healthcare system for the elderly citizens like heart rate and body temperature. In the case of emergency, for instance, anomalous behaviors like heart stroke occur, the proposed system set-up triggers an alarm and the emergency bulb will be on to alert to their kin. This smart environment can set the temperature and help control the living parameters of light based on the users' comfort and their health conditions. The whole design is to provide modest support systems for the elder to live healthily and safety in the independent living of elders.","PeriodicalId":296191,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133779781","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results of engine performance tests showed that torque output would increase slightly at seventy percent throttle valve opening when ethanol-gasoline and butanol-gasoline blended fuel was used. It was also shown that CO and HC emissions were reduced with the increase of ethanol/butanol content in the blended fuel, which resulted from oxygen enrichment. At an air-fuel equivalence ratio slightly larger than one, the smallest amounts of CO and HC and the largest amounts of COR2R resulted. It was noted that under the lean combustion condition, COR2R emission was controlled by air-fuel equivalence ratio; while under the rich combustion condition, COR2R emission is offset by CO emission. From the experimental data, the optimal ethanol, butanol content in the gasoline and air-fuel equivalence ratio in terms of engine performance and air pollution was found.","PeriodicalId":296191,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117263153","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Until recently, metal parts with glossy surfaces still pose a big challenge for low dynamic range CMOS sensor in 3D scanner. Several approaches have partially solved this problem either by trading off scanning time or by increasing system's complexity. Unfortunately, these methods defeat the “low cost” and “fast” advantages of structured light scanning. In our framework, we employ several strategies such as: utilize smart encoding schemes for better signal-to-noise ratio, dynamically adjust the projector to minimize specular light, utilize multiple cameras and customized algorithms to shorten processing time. As a result, our setup greatly improves measurement quality while only incur a small time and monetary cost.","PeriodicalId":296191,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116122972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is dealt with this paper, an adapted technique called hk-LSA based on reducing dimension of vector space and like-probabilistic relationships between document and latent-topic space is proposed.
